He made time for a consultation the same day I called and then eased my anxiety around the situation. I was impressed with Steven's personability and kindness, he even gifted me a take home hair product to help the situation. I texted Steven for a balayage for my boring black hair back in august 2024 and his response was very quick! I sent in some inspo pictures and asked for his opinion on it. I wanted a darker chocolate brown balayage. He talked me through the whole process when we met at the salon and encouraged to get a lighter shade of brown. I was very nervous since I had never bleached my hair but he was very assuring that it would not destroy my hair and that I'd look amazing. I'm so glad I listened to him because the end result was WAY better than I expected! I got so many compliments from people at work and outside. I went in every two months for toner, used pureology and my hair has stayed healthy. Also the color still looked great after 6 months, even after walking around in peak summer in Australia. But I wanted a change again and wanted to try a color that I had dreamed of for the longest time. I wanted a berry burgundy balayage and sent in inspo pics to Steven. He was really excited and couldn't wait for our session! I was super nervous since I had never done a bright color on my hair before. I always stuck to browns.
