Art in the restaurant was from commissioned pieces from 2013. Beautiful Ann Arbor scenes

Delicious. Homemade soup. Great casual atmosphere. Service was excellent. Our Turkey Reuben was one of the best I've had. AND fries were split potato slices and fried to great temperature and crispy!

Stopped in after spending some quality time with one of our Grandbabies in AA. We have been to Casey's a couple times in the past, and it is close where we were visiting. We had the Meatless Joe (quite good) and a Greek Salad w Chicken (Greek dressing was delicious). Prices are fair for portion and quality. We like the eclectic decor. Service was decent. Casey's is a reliable establishment and deserving of a middle of the road rating.

Great burgers and a nice location in Ann Arbor. I recommend starting with the onion rings. They also offered a kids menu.

I have not been here in 20 years. Located across the street from A2s train station. Sparse street and small lot pay parking, even less nearby free street parking. Inside this old building is an old fashioned dark wood bar and bar room. Limited craft and macro beer selection, three crafts when I was here. They have a selection of pub type food. Their main claim to fame is the burgers. Mine was very greasy. Good fries. Didn't have to wait too long for beer or food. The staff was fine, a little distant. I was here for lunch on a Friday, as outdoor workers in hoodies and muddy jeans came in it was obvious why the female bartenders and wait staff are distant, as the workers crudely macked on them. The prices were not bad, and they have specials posted on a board. 20 years ago the few craft taps and fatty burgers were a reason to come. The fancy burger and craft beer serving world got better and this place stayed the same--now it is good but not great.

We went here for a very early dinner (5:00) because we had heard that it fills up quickly. We had no problem getting a booth at 5:00. My husband and I split the Greek salad and the Salmwich (salmon sandwich). They split both the salad and the sandwich in the kitchen (I love when places do that for you) and I think they gave us a salad and a half because even my half salad was huge. Tasty salad, sandwich, and fries. Service was great. They do have a small parking lot on the side of the building. When we arrived at 5:00 there was also quite a bit of street parking. When we left at 6:15, empty spots were much more scarce.

What's not to love about Casey's? Came back to AA for a hockey game and didn't want to miss a chance for one of my favorite spots in town. Same quaint and charming place I remember with great burgers and beer!

The onion rings...after we had a few. Very much worth it

They don't serve any food though, so might not be a good choice if you're hungry. - Dogfish Head Grateful Dead IPA: 10000/10 (an amazing, refreshing IPA that isn't too strong! Medium-bodied, pretty fruit-forward with notes of pineapple and mango. Honestly one of the best IPAs I've had in a whileee) - Kasteel Wit: 9/10 (light-body wheat beer that's also super refreshing and flavorful!) - Hacker Pschor Oktoberfest: 10/10 (great marzen) - Rhineheist Cheetah lager: 8/10 (decent lager) - Guinness: 6/10 (the Guinness was wayyyyy too watery!!!) - Ferndale Project Apple Pie: 9/10 (actually tastes like apple pie and vanilla! It's def on the sweeter side though, so you might not like it if you're not into sweet beer) Overall, I definitely want to come back and sit outside when the weather is nicer!

However, I made a grave mistake of ordering on the QR code/Toast rather than at the bar. I say grave because fellow bourbon whisky enthusiasts will cringe -- I was pretty stoked to see that they had Basil Hayden Toasted. So, I ordered it but also selected "add water" with the anticipation that it would be like a dropper of water. Nope, they made a cocktail out of my 2oz pour of Basil Hayden. Whiskey water. At that point, it could've been Makers Mark or Jack and I wouldn't have known the difference. User error though so I did make sure I still tipped accordingly and NOW I know. I'll be back though.

There is plenty of dining area seating as well as bar seating and additional seating space on the upper level. We all enjoyed our order of fries - they were crispy and well seasoned. Only comment for improvement would be to provide more aioli sauce with the fries because there isn't enough sauce for all the fries - though we didn't ask the server for more at that moment.

It was juicy, well seasoned, and the crispy onions on top added a little extra to it. My dining companion got the steak fritte wrap . It was huge! I tried a bite and the seasonings were amazing. The kids burger is a decent size, and the kids mac & cheese is homemade. Drinks were also good. Our server was Bailey. They were busy and he was very personable and efficient. He checked in and answered questions about the menu. We sat outside and it's nice that the street is closed and it's great for people watching. Overall, great place to stop in AA.
