I was looking to sell my used vehicle that has mechanical issues to several junk yards or vehicle salvagers. I have done this many times over the years and I only transfer the vehicle title at the moment of sale with the agreed upon sale price. The CLUNKER JUNKER wanted me to send a copy of a signed and dated title prior to the actual sale, and before I would receive any agreed amount of money. I started reading actual customer reviews and BBB cases pending and other customers actual experiences. Most received less money than the agreement once the car was picked up for whatever reasons and other cars simply went missing and no one knows anything. I suggest that anyone who asks you to sign off on a title before the actual transaction and money is exchanged, this is a HUGE RED FLAG and I have NEVER been asked to do this in my 50 years I have been buying and selling cars. So I have a car and called this number for a quote. Incredibly rude, and he makes it seem like he's doing you a favor. He literally shut the phone on me as I told him to to have a great day. The only thing I can imagine it feels like is like if I had a superbowl winning team, and I give a big superstar 67Million dollars to come play for my team. Turns out he punches my star receiver who leaves in the off season and creates a locker room mess. This is Cash for Junk Cars... (Just a tip, you can try improving your customer service.) A really amazing group of guys. Must be family owned because they really take time to talk you through the process and make you feel comfortable with what (for me) was an incredibly stressful situation. My car was stolen and I had to go through a really painful and expensive period of getting it back and then trying to scrap it (it no longer had important working pieces like wheels and a starter). They came out and towed the car for me and paid me really fair amount for it. They're fast and effective. They were super knowledgeable about everything, helped me with title transfer, and answered all of my questions.  They even gave me pointers on what to make copies of for my personal records. They're just really honest and upstanding people--something that is tragically rare in their line of work, in my humble opinion. If you ever find yourself in my situation, call these guys. I have to say, in a shitty situation, these guys came through on fast, friendly, and efficient services. I unfortunately crashed my car and had it towed to a towing yard in West Seattle. I called three different companies to get a quote and ask about the possibility of getting the car removed. Bobby answered the phone and was extremely friendly over the phone. He asked all the right questions, expressed concern and said he could have the whole thing wrapped up in a half hour...obviously sounds to good to be true. Though the price I received for the vehicle was less than another company quoted me, time was of the essence due to the fees for the car to be held at in the tow yard, so I got the same price for the bill I already had. Bobby was patient with me as I finalized all the necessary documents to get in order for the sale. I am very impressed and appreciative of his professionalism and efficiency through this process. Found seattlecarbuyer.com online and called them. Talked to Frankie. He said he'd be happy to give us a fair price on our non-running car. We agreed to his price. Without going into too many details (these guys have our address) we jerked around with them for nearly a week of lame excuses (lies) why they suddenly couldn't make it to our neighborhood, or why they couldn't call us back, or just completely flaking out and not showing up, or never answering their phone. Then, they simply denied they'd ever spoke to us before, and "Oh, I think the guy you spoke with is on vacation, now". Then, twenty minutes before they were to arrive and tow it, they lowballed us on the "only price they were willing to pay" which was HALF of what they agreed to earlier. And, they never even bothered to look at the car. It is my opinion these guys are scam artists, and I would never trust them again. After reading one of the other reviews posted below, I'm glad we didn't actually sell to them. Who knows what could have happened. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS. It is my opinion they are unprofessional, dishonorable, and probably crooked, too. read more

Frankie has now changed the name of his business to something along the lines of "Maple Valley/Renton Cash for Cars". He's terrible. Definitely crooked. Although he doesn't gain anything from jerking you around, it's not pleasant and is very frustrating. Please go somewhere else. read more

Guy over the phone was very rude and didn't know anything. I asked for a estimate and before I could finish make/model of car he rudely interrupted me saying it was worthless. I called another company and once I gave vehicles info, what the issue was and sent pictures he gave me an estimate of $435! He then came right out and paid me cash on the spot. Just like the previous reviews, this "Frankie" and his business is flakey, shady, unprofessional and a joke. States and confirmed an appointment prior and has no courtesy to contact being late or just full out flakes and doesn't show, a waste of time. Do your business somewhere else. read more

It showed up in a tow lot down town earlier this month and because I made the mistake of not sending in the title change (I handed it over to Franke and he told me he'd send it in) I ended up on the hook for a $500 towing bill. Called to get a quote. When I phoned all the man said was "hello".. no business name. I gave him the car info as he sighed the whole time. He asked what I wanted for it. He won't state his quote. I have had several different offers due to location and the fact that I can get the car there. Lets just say the call ended in him calling me a dumb bitch.......
