I originally decided to come here because it had great reviews... When I showed up to a gold place next to a gas station I was kind of put off, but I went in anyways. I had inherited jewelry from my mom and grandma that I thought I was ready to sell. I sold Five pieces of jewelry around 1 PM on Monday, December 1 as soon as I went home, I had regretted it but I tried to tell myself it was just my feelings and it would be OK. I tried to sleep. I couldn't sleep all night. I went back to the gold place first thing in the morning. It said they opened at 10 AM finally at 10:45 AM someone showed up and basically told me I was shit out of luck. I made him call the owner and the owner was like normally we don't do that but he felt bad. You could hear it in his voice he might have helped me and as soon as I described the pieces, he told me that they had already been shipped off. Now I don't believe that my pieces have been shipped off. I don't believe my pieces have been shipped off already. I believe he heavily shorted me on the value, which is why he doesn't want to reverse the sale. The weight of just the 14 karat alone gold was over 8 g. I'm not sure on the exact weight of the 10 karat gold but I walked out the store with $550 cash. Also would like to add that I was not given a single document regarding the items I sold he took a copy of my drivers license and that was it Maybe this was the reason that my ancestors were filling me with such awful dreams throughout the night who knows but I got gotten and I definitely say don't do business with this Gold shop. Edited to add bylaw they are required to hold gold for 30 days for them to tell me that they shipped my jewelry off yesterday I know for a fact now that they ripped me off. I will be filing further reports with BBB and FTC to have this business investigated. read more

They took their time with each item, and took what they could. I went in with a box of old jewelry and had no clue if any of it was even real or worth anything. I believe it was the owner that helped me and he took every piece out and one at a time tested them with a magnet to see if they were gold. The ones that stuck to the magnet he still looked at with a magnifying glass just to make sure he couldn't give me anything for it. He showed me the whole process and explained why he was doing it and what the outcome should be. I felt so comfortable with him especially since I had no idea what to expect!
