Went here for a soccer game. Bought tickets online prior to driving to the venue. Bought tickets online, and don't recall any notification that there would also be an additional cost for parking upon entering the parking lot. Not cool. Cashman Field looks a bit run down here and there. At the entrance to the stadium, personnel greeted visitors at the entrance check point. We were politely asked to extend out our arms for a staff member to utilize their metal detecting wand. All visitors went through this safety protocol. Then, the next staff member scans your eTicket from your phone. Once up by the concession area, a staff member helped us figure out where our seating area was located. There were food and merch vendors. Restrooms readily available. Complimentary posters of the team calendar. Then, when we were leaving the game it was a bit difficult to find the exit easily as the parking lot had minimal lighting and lacked signs to help navigate easily to the exit. Not being used to the layout of the parking lot, we relied on following others to the exit. There was a 'parking attendant' vehicle with blinking yellow lights near the entrance/exit that was driving over to possibly move traffic cones out of the way at the exit lane. While they were driving over to the cones, we followed another vehicle -who seemed to know confidently where they were going- and we successfully exited the parking lot. I got the impression that the parking attendants forgot to move the cones out of the way for vehicles leaving the venue a little early. Overall, the soccer game was enjoyable. I would have appreciated better lighting and signs to help navigate to the exit. Perhaps if there was better lighting, it would have helped us find the exit easier. read more

Had my second Covid vaccine yesterday at Cashman Center. The process is so well organized it only took five minutes in line and then I was receiving my vaccine. I had to wait my fifteen minutes to see if I had a reaction but other than that the process is very smooth. My husband and I even seen the National Guard giving senior citizens there vaccinations on a bus that brought them to the center ! I was so impressed. Diane and I were lucky enough to score appointments for the first day Cashman Center opened to the general public as a vaccination center for adult residents of Clark County aged 70 and up. We each received our first Moderna Covid-19 vaccination after a series of serendipitous circumstances. First, two days before, I tried to change the television channel with the remote, hit a local news station by mistake, and saw that a press conference was just starting with Governor Sisolak announcing a revision of Nevada's Covid-19 vaccination and distribution plan. The main change was dropping the second tier's (after the first tier of health care workers and persons in nursing homes) low age eligibility from 75 to 70, thus including Diane in my bracket. Then I immediately checked that day's edition of the Las Vegas Review Journal (to which I now subscribe online), for new vaccination information--only to quickly find Southern Nevada Health District's website to access vaccine appointments. The site spun and spun for awhile, and then opened to allow me to book an inoculation appointment as soon as two or three days ahead. Diane did the same, and then our appointments on the same date and time were quickly confirmed by email. So we were able to get vaccinated together. The morning after booking the two appointments, Diane called a few senior friends to alert them about the new vaccination opportunities. A few minutes later, one called her back to report that the earliest available date was now AUGUST 21st! And we later learned that the website had crashed not long after we made our confirmed appointments. But more appointments should open up soon, because the state and county are endeavoring to open more and more community vaccine centers, and to acquire many more doses of vaccine. For full effect a second Moderna shot is needed one month after the first. The vaccination site was well organized and operated by the National Guard; everyone there was masked; and the snaking line of vaccine recipients that was kept socially distanced with painted dots on the floor moved fairly fast. We were in and out in 1 hour and 45 minutes. The only problem encountered was going first to the Cashman Center parking lot directly off Las Vegas Boulevard (where Covid-19 testing is still underway) only to learn that we had to return to Las Vegas Boulevard heading south, turn left on Stewart Avenue, and then enter the Cashman Theatre parking lot after turning left onto Maryland Parkway. I consider us very lucky to get this "liquid gold" injected into our bodies so soon. Diane considers us to have been blessed. Maybe it's a combination of both! I pulled no strings to get us near the front of the line, because I had none available to pull. read more

I came here for vivid testing and it was nicely organized, parking right at the door, the center was airconditioned well and smelled fresh. All was clean. It's a convention center. It's just not in the best neighborhood. Sometimes there's glass on the parking lot so watch out with your car. There was a lot when I parked here once to go to the neon museum. read more

Been here lots of times mostly for dance competitions and recitals but the latest visits have been for covid test and then now vaccines. It's pretty big inside and the line for the vaccine is long but it moves steadily. It's well organized but I guess that's because of FEMA and not cashman. Also for the vaccine, they have a selfie booth so you have to rock the vaccine selfie. Parking is crazy but there's always plenty of it, just might have to walk. read more

When you hear the word Cashman you think of the 51s ballpark at the rear of the complex from Las Vegas Boulevard. In between the ballpark and the parking lot are convention space and a theatre. I have been to the theatre for five shows and I find it to be a fairly good venue. Access off the Boulevard or Washington is easy and for this event, there was no fee for parking. The theatre seats just under 1,900 so it's a good sized space. The stage is quite large able to handle large productions such as Les Misérables which was one of the shows I saw here. I recently went to see the musical "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" performed as a partnership between the Nevada State Thespians and the Clark County School District. The theatre and the Center proved to be quite capable of hosting the large production with a cast in the 30s or more and with plenty of room for scenery. My only complaint would be that they need more bathroom space when the theatre has a good house. There just isn't enough with one ladies and one men's room. I will attend any future shows here that might be scheduled that would be of interest. And it's a quick couple of blocks to the freeway entrance to come back home. read more

The Cashman Center is a great venue for things like craft shows, bridal spectaculars and even dance competitions...This time, it was the venue for the Grassroots Event with President Barack Obama. Las Vegas locals waited in anticipation to hear what the leader of our country had to say about this very important upcoming election, and his very strong possibility of four more years in office. It was a pretty long wait(at least 2 hours) before the president arrived, and in the process, we were able to chat with actor Hawthorne James (Speed, The Five Heartbeats, The Color Purple, Amistad, etc.) which was pretty cool! The President basically repeated what he said at the Democratic National Convention in his short but sweet 30 minute speech, and before you know it, he was gone with the wind, off to his next stop....Also coming to the Cashman Center in October is the Lowrider Super Show, one of the nation's biggest Car Shows...BE THERE!!!....ALOHA!!! read more

The is definitely a great location to go to for your COVID-19 testing. The best part is it's FREE and you get your results back quickly. You have to register through UMC's website https://www.umcsn.com to make an appointment but they also had walk-ins available the days I went. Make sure when making an appointment you make a separate appointment for everyone in your family who will be getting a test done.,When I arrived the parking had a lot of cars but inside the building was pretty empty. The whole process was very organized. All the staff was friendly and helpful. There was a area to check in and then you proceed to the next station where they were doing the testing. You sanitize your hands and then do the nose swab and then your done. We were in and out in about 20 minutes and received our results the very next day. We were told results can take 2-4 days but we received our negative results in than 24 hours. Make sure you sign up with a phone number and as soon as your results are ready they will text them to you. read more

It does the job. I went to the conference for women a few months back wow was that a waste of time! AND this place charged everyone that arrived after me, because I got there early, $20 for parking! $20 for parking!!! I would not pay $20 for parking unless I was seeing an A List headliner ....anyways the Cashman center is a nice place to go to for small events. Oh and they were charging the people coming off Washington Street $20 for parking as they entered by those entering via Las Vegas Blvd. off the hill where the light is = $0 so keep an eye. read more

Came here probably only twice in my life. Once for some convention my friend was participating in (Anime..? lol) but most recently this past weekend for the Crossroads of the West gun show. There used to be the Rocky Mountains gun show at the South Point Casino but they no longer come to vegas so this was the next biggest one. We had arrived fairly early in the day around maybe 1000A. The main lot in front of the building was mostly full but still a decent amount of spaces left. There was a small double line waiting to buy their ticket. Parking was $5 per car. Admission was $14 - $1 coupon you can find online on their site. Prior to entering the venue, I had expected the entire place be used but it was maybe half used. Nothing close to how the Rocky Mountain gun show was back then with tons of gun vendors. I had maybe hoped to buy the newly released Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 9mm at a cheaper price than local shops but they were on average maybe $80 more than the lowest price at a near home local gun store. Ammo prices were fairly decent but my friend said he had found cheaper at another local store. For me personally, if you were to buy in larger amounts, and don't mind reloads, for 9mm 500 rounds, it was about $90. Pretty good if you are just a range shooter and not need anything specific. There was 1 main magazine seller, 1 main ammunition seller (there were smaller ones), and maybe 2 or 3 larger gun sellers. Worth it? It wasn't for us. We do see people having some successful purchases but not as much as I remembered from another gun show. Venue wise, fairly open place but small. Good for small events. Funny thing was on the outside wall, it said something about by law, weapons are not allowed on the premises... except the fact this is a gun show.. LOL and people are walking in and out with guns xD read more

I went to the LVL Up Expo this weekend, and I wasn't super impressed. The event itself was lame, but I wasn't really impressed with the location. first of all, paying to park is outdated, if you ask me. Had I known before, I would have found somewhere else to park and walked. Its only $4, which was good...but still, I find it a little ridiculous. Although I have been to Cashman Center several times for baseball games, today was the first time I visited for something really important. I recently visited Saturday, April 2nd to participate in the Democratic National Convention. My review is based on the location, and not the event. The location of the center, while in a rougher part of town, more than makes up for it with the lush green landscaping, ample parking, and proximity to freeways. I loved the set up to the snackbars, bathrooms,and water fountains. I love the fact that the way to exit the parking lot is located on the opposite side of the location, and not at the main entrance (which makes the process to leave A LOT easier). I spent over 6 hours here on Saturday (which is the longest I have ever spent here), and I enjoyed being here. Can't wait to start going back to the games! read more

So many saying the Covid is well organized and fast at Cashman. I went to a different location for my first shot and the whole process was 30 minutes. At Cashman I am 30 minutes past my appointment and no shot yet. Easily 20 nurses doing nothing. And now they have been moved. If they did our shots while waiting our line would be done and driving home. Use one of the other locations if you have the option. Crazy read more

We were here for a Whitney Houston tribute show. Before even entering this dump of a place, we had to wait in a line that moved one foot in one hour. I am not exaggerating. The will-call had only two windows open. After that hour, a suit came down the line and explained that they had a problem with their computer system, which wasn't generating the tickets. The theater itself was fairly comfortable, but it apparently was the show promoters' people who were taking tickets and seating us; they had no clue where any of the seats were, and it was like bees swarming in a hive as people were lead literally all around the theater with the ushers trying to find the seats printed on the tickets. Not that it mattered - the theater was half-full, so everyone moved over and down. While the show was very good, this review is for the theater, and the experience of attending a show here was a trying one. read more

#600 I've been here several times for conventions and a job fair (in more recent years). The parking is good, if you get there at a good time. Otherwise, good luck. I don't remember paying for parking. Yes, the building itself is a little old and could need some cosmetic work, too. That said, there are still so many events (crafts, jewelry, christmas, etc.) here, like the Bridal Spectacular twice a year- and since the hall is still being booked/attended, how bad can it really be? I remember the job fair the most since that was the most recent event. There were so many people, looking for a job, so it was literally, a sea of people. Some people were dressed like me, ready to interview, in dress pants and a nice button down shirt, groomed nicely and smiling. Others, were less than presentable, in shorts and t-shirts, kinda like they rolled out of bed and just didn't give a second thought to the appearance at all- but it's nothing new here, some people are just so flaky and unreliable (I've seen some strange ones at my old work places through the years). The recruiters/companies hiring were large companies- banks like Citi Group and US Bank, and the armed services were in full force too. The event was organized very well (you turned in a resume at the front, information was given to you about the event). I can't comment on the bathrooms because I just spent time in the convention hall. I also can't comment on the refreshments because I didn't notice any stands anywhere here. read more

LVL UP EXPO I used GPS to get to the convention, because I never been before. The GPS was giving me the correct directions to the entrance, but they had all of them closed, but one.. I had to circle around the block a few times to get in.. Why the hell you have so many exits and entrances and only use one? Parking was $4 soon as you pull in. They had no one directing traffic, so it was really hard just to get to a parking spot. You had so many cars and pedestrians in the way. I finally found a parking spot in the back of the building. They had two events going on at the same time. A parenting convention, which was free and also the LVL UP Expo, which wasn't. We had to pay $25 and up. There was no wall to block the different conventions. So get this... I bet a lot of people got in for free because all you have to do is walked through the parenting convention right into the LVL. There is not enough security to check you for your badge. That is really awful that it could of been that easy. I've seen this so many times all over Vegas though. It's never done right on the days of the shows, concerts, or conventions. There was not even a metal detector available. Just thought, you know... a lot of people with weapons walking around.. are they fake or real? Yea..anyway. They had some food inside and the rest were food trucks outside. The food inside was ice cream, and pretty much bar food, which was everything fried. Bathrooms were clean when I used one, so that's a big plus. They had free video games you could play, which was great, but you know some people don't have manners and do not care if you are waiting. They just kept hitting restart button, after they died and continued playing, with a line behind them. Everyone was super friendly and allowed you to take pictures of them or with them. The panels were really unorganized, There was no one to guide you, to show you were lines were or answer any questions. They would tell you where you could not be, and make you move. You didn't know who worked there or who was a customer. So everyone just stood in the hallways waiting for a door to open. There were up and down's about it, but if they had it again next year I would go. It is a great place to meet new people, that show the same interests. read more

The place is big, and great for events. I believe parking is no re-entry which sucks because the food sold inside is the worst! The grilled chicken sandwich is tasteless and the chicken tenders looked like they were previously fried them microwaved before they were handed to me. Food is also overpriced for what they give you. I suggest you eat really good before coming here and wait to eat outside once you leave your event. read more

I want to thank Louis Verdi for his hard work and hospitality making me and my 4 year old son feel welcome at the game ... we had a great time we love the whole experience ... the game is fun to watch and all the music and special effects are appreciated .... My son loves to go run around with the other kids in the grass areas after eating his ice cream and we still get a great view of the game ... letting us play on the field after is something special too ... we really appreciate all the obvious effort that goes into planning this fun filled 2 hours+ .... Cashman Center is an okay spot for local conventions and services. I've been here about 3 times for the following: community service program that compiled holiday gifts for families in need, Culinary Health Insurance processing when I was still able to take advantage of my father's plan, and recently for Bridal Spectacular. I honestly think it's a good space for the previous 2 types of events that don't call for appearance, but it kinda didn't suit the bridal event. I guess the convenience of the location is what helps the local crowds (e.g. being a more central point in the city). read more

If you've ever attended events or conventions in other cities and then visited Cashman Center, you know the truth. It's a dump. And a joke. Parking...you want me to pay $4 to park where? Really? And then there's the venue itself...a tired, dated, needs a date with a bulldozer place that is depressing to enter no matter how exciting the event is inside. In a city known for it's convention facilities Cashman Center is like the red headed stepchild of venues. Oh and it happens to have a stadium attached. Even the empty stadium on a cold January day looked more visually interesting then the convention center it's attached to. 2 Stars. Fortunately for most Las Vegans this facility is tucked behind a hill and is not visible from the 515 so it stays out of sight which is a good thing. read more

I was here for Anime Vegas a couple weeks back. Obviously experiences here will depend on each particular event organizers, but I can talk about the venue a bit anyways. I was disappointed they charged for parking. It was only $4, but it was unnecessary. When I think about it though, parking charges are always unnecessary. It just seemed silly to charge parking when only a third of the total lot was used. I wonder if the parking charge even covered the wages for the 10 or so parking attendants they used that day. The food offered by venue was flat out disgusting. The normal stuff like burgers and nachos, but everything seemed cold and stale. I'm not asking for gourmet dinners, but this looked worse than what I used to eat from the elementary school cafeteria. There is really only one entrance to the convention hall, which is either good or bad depending on how the convention organizers set things up. In the upstairs meeting rooms area there was plenty of places to sit which was really nice. Bathrooms were clean and functional. read more

Cashman center..what can i say! its a Vegas staple and has been around longer than i can remember.. i attended the LV CLASSIC show & was shocked that clearly they have no social media manager to log the various events that take place there..making it easier to check in and post...but anyways... living in LV for 20 plus years..Im just glad its still there...& the staffers are quite pleasant. my only suggestions for cashman center is to get with the program..venues with stages have a backstage..its elementary my dear..build one really also wouldn't hurt to freshen up the look aesthetically the building is a eye sore and that ticket box office out front of theatre is trully a blast from the past...not necessary. HIRE a marketing/social guru & get with the times :) read more

I recently attended the Bridal Spectacular here, and have previously attended Pet Expo and other events. I really like this venue, because it's spacious and allows for a lot of different vendors. It was really nicely set up for the Bridal Spectacular, so I don't know if that says more about the venue or the folks who put on the vent, but either way I was impressed. Their parking is the only thing that bugs me. The fact that 1) most of the parking is uphill and 2) they rarely ever use the other ticket booth, irks me. Overall, a decent place to go and attend an event. read more

Not a bad venue for outdoor geared events, as long as the inside facilities are available for air conditioning (which worked nicely for us). My big complaint is how far Cashman is from the strip. Unless prearrangements are made, you can easily get stranded here if you took a taxi from a hotel. We didn't realize this as visitors who booked tickets to a show here months in advance and were caught off guard. We lucked out in that someone was being dropped off as we started to freak out about how we'd get back to the strip and how long it would take, but others were not so lucky. read more

I was at an event in the event space, so I have not been to the stadium. the event space was very big and is a good alternative to the LVCC, if you are not CES or NAB and a lot of other acronyms that I can't think of right now, but I think you get the idea. I'm INTO jewelry making...everything about it, from picking out the beads, designing the piece, putting it together, and wearing it! There's no better place to go to get your bead fix than the Gem and Jewelry show at the Cashman Center. They have everything you want and more. p.s. Usually when I come here its for a gun show but on this visit it was a dance recital, comparable, we shall say not. Some folks I know had their kids in this event so we went. My girlfriend and I really appreciate the arts so we did enjoy it.Lots of music and plenty of dance, all kinds.The center itself was well lit with a good sound system, plenty of parking. read more

Having a conference at the Cashman Center has the good and the bad. The facilities are nice. My problem is Aramark. First, you cannot bring in outside food. The Aramark food is extraordinarily expensive. $3 for a water bottle, $20 for 12 soft pretzels, etc. Then I was shorted a water bottle. There was Pet Expo last year with Shorty Rossi appearing, and, being a fan, I couldn't miss this opportunity. We were at Main Street Station RV and only had our bikes. Luckily, it wasn't too far of a bike ride. Free admission, this would be our first pet expo, which, of course, was mostly dogs. It was fun seeing the variety of breeds and sizes of dogs, all well behaved. Some cats in cages (the looked so sad). Many vendors. Shorty was promoting his book, signing autographs, taking donations. The only one from his show was Hercules. What a tame pittie! He looked so bored it was funny. But a beautiful dog, and loved by Shorty. Got to take a quick pic with him, he gave a talk about the myths of pit bulls. He is exactly like he is on his show! This was our experience at Cashman Center. read more

VERY CLEAN! I was here for a high school robotics competition (as a chaperon). I was so impressed with the cleaning crew---they did not stop cleaning. They were constantly keeping the bathrooms and seating area spotless. The people were friendly. The facility is very large. There was an area set up in the front and "pits" set up in the back. It has been my first time to go to this part of Vegas. We went for SHARP Nationals Cheer Competition. The place was a about 4-5 miles away from the strip. I did not expect it to be in a suburb area. Not sure if there are public transportation available in this part of town, but we took an uber going here. Place if ok - ample parking, restrooms and vending machine are available. I have held my bridal show, The Bridal Spectacular at Cashman since 1991. The staff is always professional and they care about their building. The bathrooms are always clean and fresh, The concessions are generally good. It is up to the show producer to request the types of food they want served. The rates are more reasonable for parking than any other public parking lot in our town. They painted in the last few years and the building is easy to set up a convention in. It is centrally located and easy to reach from most highways. The Bridal Spectacular is held their twice a year in January and August. read more
