First of all, the food was disgusting AND ridiculously expensive. The cocktails were so watered down. But honestly, the worst part was the security and the way everything was handled. When I first arrived, security checked my very small LV purse. The employee literally used their measuring card/template, measured my bag, and told me it was fine to bring inside. Cool. So I continued through security. Then I get to the SECOND checkpoint and their scanner breaks. Instead of moving people to another functioning line, we stood there for about 30 minutes while they tried to fix it right in front of us. At this point, I'm already missing the beginning of the concert because of THEIR equipment issue.
Once I finally got through, a female security supervisor suddenly tells me my purse is too big and has to be checked. I explained that THEIR OWN security employee at the previous checkpoint had already measured it and approved it. I even pointed out the employee who did it. She did not care. Her attitude was unnecessarily rude, loud, and unprofessional. Instead of simply explaining the situation, she got loud with me in front of everyone like she was trying to embarrass me. And I wasn't the only person she was speaking to like that.
So after already waiting around 30 minutes because their scanner wasn't working, I had to leave the entrance, walk all the way to bag check, wait AGAIN, and then PAY $20 to check a bag their own employee had already approved. That added roughly another 45 minutes to this whole mess. But here's the best part: after the concert, I went to retrieve my purse AND THEY COULDN'T FIND IT. Yes. The same bag I was forced to pay $20 to check because it was supposedly too big after another employee had already approved it. They LOST IT.
It took approximately AN HOUR for them to finally locate my purse, and I had to tell them I was about to contact Nevada State Police before suddenly everybody started taking the situation seriously. Between the rude treatment, inconsistent security rules, broken equipment, being forced to pay for bag check, missing part of an event my man paid good money for me to attend, and then having my purse LOST afterward, this was easily one of the worst stadium experiences I've ever had. For the amount of money people spend on concert tickets, parking, food and everything else, Allegiant Stadium needs to do MUCH better. Train your staff to communicate with each other, have consistent bag policies at every checkpoint, and please don't charge people $20 to check their belongings just to turn around and "LOSE THEM".
Never again.
