There weren't many instructions on what kind of info was needed for the contact form, but I figured I'd get a call or email asking me about the quote, giving options to choose from to build something out, or even a notification that my date in unavailable. I absolutely love the concept. I really do. it's a house turned into a cigar lounge. Super cool location, near a really good coffee shop and they have a dang good selection to choose from. Nice place to chill and watch a game and they have different rooms where you can hang. However, I gotta keep it real. They charged me $5 to chill and smoke my cigar and another charge for drinks. I get it. Rent ain't free. But you gotta give cigar smokers reasons to come back. I mean, we are halfway through 2023 and most cigar smokers, myself included, buy from online cigar shops. There is a room you go into that hold many options. Because I know nothing about cigars, I just picked a few that caught my eye due to wrappers. The staff didn't offer much help. An impromptu hang out with friends made all the better by Casillas Cigars! There isn't very many cigar lounges in Sacramento and it can be tough to get into some of the good ones as they have reservation lists and such. A quick search and drop off at this location we initially weren't sure if this was the type of place but instead I was really blown away by the service and the staff at Casillas. I believe we were helped by Nate and Jed and they were extremely friendly with us. I am novice to cigars myself but one of our more seasoned friends really enjoyed his experience here. They had number of private rooms and were able to accommodate our group into one of our own rooms. Additionally one of the staff was really accommodating and went down to the store and grabbed some beers for us. WOW! Just some truly next level customer service and I wish I could remember who exactly did this for us but was happy none the less. Looking forward to visiting this place again in the future! read more

I had no idea what I was doing but Jet was super cool, super knowledgeable and was willing to work with me to stay within my budget. Nate and Jed are very welcoming and hospitable and have great knowledge in cigars. Paying $5 to use the lounge and you can bring your own drinks and food and they provide glasses is amazing! This is my go to spot to relax and have a smoke with the crew and just catch up on life and make talk mess about sports. You won't be disappointed with this place at all! Many years ago I was a customer of Casillas Cigars. I enjoyed going to the shop and watching a guy roll cigars. In addition their cigars were very good. I use to buy them 25 at a time. Then something happened and quality dropped. A new store with the Casillas name opened across the street, but the quality of their cigars remained less than desirable. Today I discovered an even newer version of Casillas. My wife and I went to the newest location, once again across the street from the second store. We met Jet who greeted us warmly and showed us the humidor and a wide selection of cigars. I explained how I once bought cigars from the original store but had stopped being a customer. After going home, I tried one of the three cigars that I purchased to sample the new sticks. I must say that I enjoyed the cigar immensely. It had the pepper taste that I like and was very close to the old Casillas that I previously enjoyed. Jet told me that they ship cigars just in case I lived too far to easily visit their location on 16th street, but that's no problem since I am only a short drive away. I will be making future purchases from Casillas, because once again they have some of the best cigars in town. read more

i am not a cigar smoker but was shopping for a gift for a friend who does. i love that it was in a converted home it made the storefront feel very comfortable and not awkward. upon entering you can smell tabacco, not the smoke smell but just the smell of a rolled cigar. i'm not a smoker but it was a nice smell. we had to wait to for other customers before we went into the cigar closet. the waiting area was very comfortable. the person who helped us was so very easy to do business with and reassured us we were buying the right products. inside there were a couple enclosed (by glass doors) smoke rooms. read more

My only disappointment was after purchasing two cigars from them I was also asked to pay a $5 lounge fee to smoke in there lounge. That set wrong with me. Casillas Cigar Co. is just as charming on the inside as it is on the outside. I drive by almost everyday coming into work and have been meaning to check it out because of how cute it looks on the outside. Once you get inside, you realize that it is a updated Victorian home that has been turned into a little shop with a few seriously comfy sitting areas for you to enjoy your cigars, relax with your friends, or watch tv on the big screen - a perfect place to wind down after hard day. Being a novice cigar smoker, I know absolutely nothing about cigars. Thankfully, the guy at the counter was super helpful, walked us into the humidor, was able to explain some of the cigars, and make a few recommendations for us to try. We tried a few of the Robusto cigars and had a seat on the patio watching the traffic die down. What a cool way to unwind from the workweek.
