Thank you to the Manager Mike and other Manager too. But the Lady with the black curly shoulder length hair that walked Us next door to Sushi By Us had a nasty attitude and she also tried to rush us from table . All of our Guest was Business Owners and they all said If you was their employee. You would be FIRED and you have no hospitality. You don't have matters. Find another JOB that knows your attitude is bad and nasty !!!!! Everyone that worked in Sushi By Us was great. We will give an awesome review.

Spending so much time in New York, I've probably had better, but the food here is still good. This is a small chain (NOLA, Metairie, Baton Rouge, West Palm Beach), outfitted with neon, murals, and pink flowers. The menus are high tech and light up when you open them. We started with the queso fundido, with melted mozzarella, chorizo, pico de gallo, and microgreens. Comes with corn or flour tortillas. It was cheesy and tasted great. They also provide chips and a flight of three salsas. Salsas all had completely different flavors and spice levels, so I enjoyed that. Other options are guacamole (with or without short rib), plain queso dip, short rib bites, and oysters rockefeller. Selections include various tacos. I had the birria tacos, which are served in a dramatic fashion, hanging from a line over the tray, which contained the consomme, salsas, rice, and refried beans. They were juicy and savory and the accompaniments hit the spot. Though I've probably had better birria elsewhere . . . not sure you'll find any better or authentic anywhere in New Orleans. My husband had the fish tacos (ensenada), crispy and covered in cilantro, payo, pickled cabbage, avocado, and pico de gallo. The fish was light and the pickled slaw added just the right amount of brightness and acidity. They also have mushroom tacos, chicken, bone marrow wagyu, carnitas, shrimp, and more. They serve larger main dishes including fajitas, carne asada, barbacoa, burritos, enchiladas, and more. They have a great drink menu with the expected margaritas and mezcal as well as some fancy specialty drinks. I has the Hasta el Agua Del Florero, which is vodka, bombay, lemon juice, pineapple juice, and watermelon syrup. It was good, but also 20 dollars. The margaritas of course come a little cheaper at 13 bucks and are decent. Some people complained about service. It wasn't busy when we stopped in, but our server stayed on top of things, the table was always bussed, he kept checking to make sure everything was to our liking. We had no server issues at all. Not sure this would be the top of my list to try of all the choices in New Orleans, but not a bad choice if you're in the mood for a Taco Tuesday or some Mexican chow.

I always get the tongue because it is flavorful and moist and delicious and reminds me of Mexico. Presentation and quality are always consistent! The tortillas are tasty and soft. The green sauce that comes with the tacos is just spicy enough to give it a kick, but not cover the flavor of the tacos. I always get delivery and these are often on sale $10 for three tacos which is a great value. Honestly, these are the best most authentic tacos in town! Caldo de Res is my other go-to dish here. It's $20 but they don't skimp on portions and I usually get two meals out of it. The delicious soup comes with a healthy portion of beef, rice, limes, hot tortillas, and all the fixings. It's the ultimate comfort food. I haven't dined in the restaurant so I can't speak to service, but every order is always correct and well packaged! Seriously add this to your list and thank me later!

The Al Pastor tacos had good flavor, and the shredded beef quesadilla was probably the highlight. I wasn't a fan of the salsa, and the beans and rice tasted like they came from a bag rather than being fresh. It also felt a little overpriced for three tacos. Nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out either. Overall, an okay spot if you're nearby, just not something I'd go out of my way for.
