Was pleasantly surprised by this place Got guacamole- very good and fresh , was accompanied by warm tortillas chips and nice hot dip. Tamales were tasty and were served on hot plate would give them solid b , did not hit my sweet spot Decor is genuinely fitting - every chair has own astonishing design obviously done by an artist And here is some cherry on top - they open till 10 and I don't think there is anything else beside Chinese takeout that open that late . nice and much needed addition to Hancock I'm in the town tomorrow and would visit again

It's the best restaurant in Hancock, New York in my opinion. I wish more of the locals would support them. They make great food! Everyone should give them a try and a chance.

We wanted a quick meal while on our way to NYC, this meal was more than expected. Food was fresh and tasty. The flavors were authentic. This will be our stop the next time we are driving through Hancock NY

Hard to find, on winding back roads.... but well worth the effort !!! Everything about this…read morerestaurant is 5+ stars. Service was friendly, prompt, attentive. Started with the table-made guacamole - excellent. Chose three mains, and all were exceptional. I can't believe one of the reviewers here found everything lacking in flavor and authenticity. Mains includes Enchiladas (beef, chicken, veggie - great accompaniments), Mole' Chicken (1/2-chicken slathered with delicious mole') and the Beef Molcajete - beef strips, chorizo, queso fresco, cactus, & scallions in salsa, served in an authentic stone mortar. The molcajete is a true dining experience. Overall - can't wait to go back in the Spring.

The menus are propped up for contactless ordering and they also have a QR scan so you can see the menu using your phone. Everyone is wearing PPE and gloves. The food is served in disposable wear so you know is sanitary! There is good social distances and it's all outdoor seating with tarps. So no need to worry about getting wet under a cheap patio umbrella! And plenty parking. The food: is authentic and yummy delicious! I ordered the tamales, empanadas, and enchiladas de mole. The food is like eating at my Mexican grandma's table. I have not experienced this specially so remote from the big city. What a gem hidden in this tiny farm. For dessert I had the churros which where covered with sprinkled sugar and cinnamon and stuffed with amazing yummy caramel goodness. Served with ice cream and raspberry sauce. Absolutely incredible!! I drove 8 hrs to be here and they did not disappoint. This place is totally under rated. The problem is not many people who come here know about yelp. Although it seems to be really popular with the locals, they are typically older farm folks and families. I wish they got more reviews. The owners are a cute couple who work the restaurant and their kids work here too. Absolutely amazing 10 out of 10!!!

I called before hand and person was like uhm you just can't eat the burritos and chimichangas. They didn't seem too sure and neither did our waitress. My mom and I both got chicken fajitas with rice and beans and corn tortillas. We couldn't have the chips since they were made in same fryer as all items, which waitress alerted us about. The fajitas were fresh, but could have used a little more flavor, super bland. The place had a very distinctive cat urine smell. I did not get sick afterwards, which is also super important when having celiac and worrying about cross contamination.

My husband and my daughter got chicken burritos with rice and beans. They were huge and tasted delicious. I had a shrimp chimichanga and my daughter had carne asada dish that we both enjoyed. My dish was a very generous portion and filled with shrimp. I had to take the star away due to barely any heat in the dining room. We were freezing and I couldn't wait to be done eating. Our hair was still wet from swimming and we were not happy to be so cold. When we asked the waitress, she was very apologetic but said the heat cannot be adjusted as the walls have poor insulation. I wish we door dashed our dinner.
