I have seen Kimberly for a little over two years--approximately 5 visits--from regular physical checkups to other medical issues. Initially, I wanted to see an MD, but I found Kimberly to be more caring, knowledgeable, and thorough than MDs/practitioners I had visited in the past. After my first appointment with Kimberly, I recommended her to my spouse, who would eventually see Kimberly for the annual physical checkups and other concerns. We both consider her our PCP (Primary Care Physician) and went to her for all general care one would get from a PCP. In one instance, as an example, I saw Kimberly for an unknown/relatively uncommon symptoms, and she impressed me by asking whether I experienced other detailed/specific symptoms all from memory--as alluded to above, she's very knowledgeable and thorough--I did look up those symptoms prior to the visit to appreciate her asking relevant questions. Kimberly did not think there was anything to be worried about based on my responses to her questions, gave me samples to try out for two weeks, and gave a referral to a specialist in case I wanted to make sure. (I did eventually go to the specialist, and found out there was nothing to worry about, just as Kimberly had suggested.) To summarize, Kimberly Dy is an exceptional practitioner and patients should definitely at least try her out, for medical care or any conditions for which one would normally see a PCP.

The front desk people couldn't care less not one apology but multiple eye rolls. Healthcare in this country is already nonsense. It's just sad that the neighborhood urgent care insists on making it worse. Taking the care out of healthcare completely. I should have known by the month old manicure and the amount of visible dandruff on the desk lady's scalp that I'd get no care or compassion there. Cause how are you expected to care for people when you could barely care for yourself. Also you're the front desk person you set the tone. So now im thinking I'm not gonna receive the care I need, I'm thinking this place is filthy and probably the last time I'll be back. The physicians assistant seemed nice enough but I was left baffled when he informed me that that there was only one person on today that can see patients and there were still 4 ahead of me. It seems really greedy that you won't just turn off appointments and let the doc catch up. It's also ridiculous that you only have one person here to serve the community. And you keep them understaffed. This isn't the first time I've seen this here. On top of that I also have to go to a different location for an X-ray. Because along with the lack of physicians and/or nurse practitioners you also don't employ a xray tech full time. It's just one thing after another. I will be sure to avoid this location in the future. All of this with this the first hour after my appointment, and still no physician. When he finally came. He was very short and not super clear on what I should be doing until I asked him, "so what should I do for this?" And even then not really clear instructions or after care instructions. So again will not be back!

I have years…read moreof experience working in a hospital and I have never seen a more poorly ran clinic than this one. I have never been to the dentist here but in terms of the family doctors ? What is happening here? My mother and grandmother primary care physicians work here when they can be found. This clinic has a manager who you can only email because they wont give you her office number which is weird because if you have a complaint you just have to report them to the city I suppose. So short story my mother was sent for labs, three months ago the DR has yet to read them for my mom but instead said an obgyn would have to read them. The obgyn said no its not gynecology you need a different exam. A lot of back and forth the DR instead determine she speaks to a mental health provider, because he says everything is fine. After several trips to the ER and a trip to DR, there are issues with the intestinal tract, a new diagnosis was given. Back in NY and here we are still waiting for the doctor to show that there is an illness present that he neglected to detect but instead referred her to a mental health provider... and, where is the manager. ??? Why is this clinic still getting away with not wanting to have better conversation practice ? What happened to going over labs with patients? What happened to developing trusting relationships with patients? How about long term care ? Prevention and educational resources ? Fyi Yo hablo español tambien, es la peor clinica que eh visto. No entiendo una practica donde la manager no se encuentra y donde los Doctores prefierren mandar a la gente a que vayan a un una cita psychiatrica antes de entender el problema. We need more compassionate care and also a higher level of accountability for errors that happen here.

Problem is that some of them don't practice what they preach. Once you see the phlebotomist people stop ordering you around and it becomes a better experience. My phlebotomist got me with one stick. Painless. You'll get your results back amazingly fast. I got mine in about 18 hours. Negative for antibodies. But that doesn't mean anything because a friend and her boyfriend were both confirmed positive for COVID but they both tested negative. Another friend with a confirmed case went to CityMD and got the positive he expected. So the testing is all over the place. At least the antibody test isn't as awful as the nose swab.

Despite that, I felt I was not being actively listened to and had to repeatedly restate the same information. What concerned me most was reviewing my medical record afterward and finding that Cassandra Vincent documented that I was a "poor historian" and "intermittently agitated/defensive." In my opinion, those statements were inaccurate and did not reflect what actually occurred during the visit. My explanation remained consistent from beginning to end, and any frustration I expressed resulted from having to repeatedly explain the purpose of my visit because I wasn't being heard. After the visit, I raised my concerns with the office manager, who listened professionally, addressed my concerns respectfully, and ensured I received the documentation I needed. I appreciated her professionalism and willingness to help. However, discovering those characterizations in my medical record after raising my concerns left me with serious concerns about whether my interaction was documented fairly and objectively. Medical records should be factual, unbiased, and free from language that can unfairly characterize a patient. I formally requested that my concerns be reviewed because patients deserve accurate documentation, respectful communication, and professional care.
