We enjoyed the peaceful views! Tried the flight and slushy. No food offered there but you can bring your own.

A neat vineyard located at the end of a dead-end road, the tasting room is located in a faux log cabin. It's very clean, baristas very friendly, and there is additional room outside for drinking and relaxing with friends. It felt a bit industrial to me, but I went on an overcast day and the weather deprived me of the opportunity to see it in the sunshine. I look forward to the chance to return again. There are some spots located by the front door, but a good field of additional parking in the back.

Very cute little winery off a dead end road, not far from Tolland. My friend and I stopped in to do a tasting. I am pretty familiar with wine tastings and my friend rarely drinks wine. The lady doing our tastings was wonderful and very knowledgeable, telling us about which grapes are grown on the premises and which ones they import, etc. We felt very welcome and not rushed at all. We found several different wines we liked despite having different tastes, and I left with a mixed case (10% discount on 12+ bottles) which I rarely do at other wineries. They have a few tables, so we were able to buy some cheese and sit and split a bottle after. Very cute environment with lots of Christmas decorations. I imagine it must get a bit loud and echoey when its busy, but it was great on a Friday afternoon. Can't wait to go back when they reopen in April!

Cassidy Hill is a great local vineyard with a log cabin style tasting room with a porch overlooking the vineyard and the hills of Coventry. If you like sweet or dry white or red wine, they offer wines of various tastes. The best part of our visit was our host asked us what we liked and she led us to the appropriate for our taste. We purchased a bottle of red and sat in the rocking chairs on the porch on a crisp Saturday afternoon. Guys, it's a great date spot.

Interesting - the wines as a whole are among the best group I have tasted in half a dozen wineries. For $6 we sampled a 2011 Pint Grigio, a 2012 Coventry Tricentennial White, a 2011 Riesling, a 2011 Summer Breeze (their best seller), a late harvest Vidal Blanc, and a blend named after the family dog - Jet's Red. I really enjoyed all of them, and we scooped up a bottle of the popular Summer Breeze ($14.95). Weirdly, there just seemed to be some cut corners along the way. No souvenir glass unlessr you wanted to pony up $3 more per person. No paper slips with the names of the wines printed and room for your comments (instead they had 3 or 4 laminated pages out for your perusal). No gift shop. Very little out for nibbling. Although Cassidy lacked some of the creature comforts of its vineyard brethren, their wine more than made up for these minor faults. The wines were excellent

Came here with my best friend for a girls afternoon. The winery is so cute and the staff was so friendly. Upon arrival we were a little torn over what wine to get. They let us taste two wines for free before pouring our glasses. All of the wines that we tried were exceptional. I always heard good things about this winery and it lived up to the hype. I got a glass of the Summer Breeze and loved it so much I bought a bottle. The wine has hints of strawberry and is very fruity, but also on the drier side. (I'm not a fan of sweet wine, so it was perfect for me). The winery wasn't too packed and we were able to get our own picnic table. It was such a beautiful day that we really enjoyed our time and the sunshine. Unfortunately, the winery closes at 5 pm on Saturday. We didn't know this and were about to have a quick bathroom break/ were headed to each buy an additional bottle when we found that out. I would recommend bringing a nice picnic/ lunch to the vineyard to enjoy your afternoon and wine with. We will definitely be back in the future to spend more time here and enjoy the beautiful and tranquil area that this winery is situated on.

Such a great find in the Hartford Area! I've been to Cassidy Hill a few times now and can say their wine is fantastic! My favorite is definitely their Summer Breeze but all are so good. It really doesn't matter if you're a red or white wine drinker because all the wines in each category have a little something for everyone! Staff is friendly and will let you try samples if you are debating bottles to buy. I've done a tasting before here too and the samples are decently poured and priced! The venue itself is spacious indoors but if you go on a weekend good luck finding a table- even outside on the lawn! Grab a picnic blanket or lawn chairs just in case! Would definitely recommend this winery- amazing quality wine selection, friendly staff, and cute rustic atmosphere.

Looking over the hill. The baby liked the view.

Cassidy Hill has got to be one of the prettiest vineyards I've been to in Connecticut. The setting up on a hill was just majestic. There were plenty of tables inside and outside (both on the grass and on the porch). They didn't really have much for snacks so definitely bring your own. I saw people with large coolers. We had the wine tasting. The ladies were super friendly though a bit frantic as it was pretty busy. 6 wines for $7, no glasses included. We actually got one extra glass tasting ;-). If you don't want to buy a glass but wish to drink a bottle there, they will give you loaner glasses. Good pours. Delicious and unique wines. The Sumner Breeze was my favorite white, and the Malbec my favorite red. The Cabernet was like other Cabernets. Nothing special there but not bad. The bottles are no deal. But not crazy either. Had a great time. Will be back for sure.

Our picnic lunch and a bottle of Summer Breeze to share on the porch. What a perfect day!

We went here on Friday around noon, brought a picnic lunch, bought a bottle of wine and enjoyed the view from the porch. We were so pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere and truly wonderful wine selection. Their "Summer Breeze 2018" was so good, we brought another three bottles home!

I stood at the bar for a few minutes when I realized no one was coming so I went back to the front end to get some help. She sent someone right over. I ended up grabbing a flight because that's the best way to try wine at a winery you've never been to before. I decided to have my drinks outside on the porch patio. Walked outside and there about 15 people out there. I was wondering where everyone was based on how many cars were parked out front. They also have patio on the grass. Both have beautiful views of their winery. The pours for the flight were large, certainly more than a 2.5 oz pour however it just meant I needed to stay a little longer to finish and get right for the drive home. I think the flights may be more appropriate for sharing but either way no regrets here. The wine (well 3 out of 4) were delicious. I was not a fan of the Sunset Red it's their red blend and it smelled nothing like it tasted. I won't tell you what I think it smelled like because wine is a bit subjective unless you're a sommelier. That being said the boxcar red was much better and I think my fave I tried was the River Valley Riesling. Nice and crisp for the hot summer day. They have a gazebo outside and some tables and chairs with umbrellas for shade. A full outdoor bar seating area under a roof overlooking the winery and the occasional train. The ambience could have been perfect but they hang their dirty rags and towels on the porch to dry out. I think a little clothes line on the side of the building would work out well for this instead. There was also an umbrella and some other random items laying on the porch floor right near me. On my way out I asked about ingredients in one of their gluten free cakes, it's from Walmart. Now don't get wrong, I love having gluten free options but I was very surprised when they told me it's a Walmart cake. Just skip the gluten free treats and get the potato salad. It was fire and I would totally come back for that regardless if it's made in house or not. The workers were friendly and willing to help. I'll be back for another flight soon!

The owner at first appeared very friendly and accommodating, unfortunately the visit shortly became chaotic. The owner became over talkative and extremely rude. One of my friends understandably became upset about the owner's manic behavior and decided not to participate in the tasting. The owner then became belligerent and started talking about my friend in the third person as if she was not even in the room. She said to us her three friends "oh never mind about her being upset, that's just the way some people are", or words to that effect. Then the owner stated "I haven't done anything wrong.
