We went to this restaurant because of a friend's recommendation. This was on a Sunday during a holiday weekend at around 11:45am, without a previous reservation. We were promptly seated and the waiter came right away to take our drink order. My husband ordered a latte, which was delicious and generous. For our meals I chose the chicken, green apple salad and my husband ordered the stuffed French Toasts. We both loved our food! The salad was big, with juice grilled chicken breast and a light and tangy vinaigrette. The French Toasts were one of the best he's ever had (his words). The place is big, really clean and spacious. We are definitely coming back next time we visit Delta. read more

We knew Fathers Day would be busy. They weren't taking reservations (which would have helped). We checked in and were told 25 minutes for three people. At 30 minutes I went up and asked and was told they couldn't find, us so they seated another party. We weren't outside or even in another part of the building. We were sitting at the coffee table with four chairs. EXACTLY WHERE THE HOST TOLD IS TO SIT! Got seated. 15 minutes and finally someone came to get our drink orders. That took another 20 minutes to get. Ordered our food. I ordered the chicken fried steak. Twice I tried to flag down someone, anyone, for more gravy as there was a pitiful amount on the steak. Got the gravy and dug in. Steak was WAY over cooked. It was so dry. The breading was tough and crunchy, burned on the bottom. We tried flagging down someone to tell them, plus all our drinks had been empty for quite a while. After 20 minutes I gave up and attempted to eat around the yuck! Ate about half, but couldn't handle any more. When we were done, we showed and explained why I hadn't eaten much. She said "sorry about that", and cleared our plates. When she dropped off the bill, we expected a small discount for my subpar meal. NOPE! Paid full price! We won't be back. Drinks never got refilled. No one came at any time to see how things were. My chicken fried steak was leather with over cooked breading. Using the excuse that they were understaffed is not the customers fault. As busy as they were, reservations would have simplified things for the host, the servers, the bartenders and the kitchen staff! read more

Non-existent service. We sat down at lunch time, with only a couple other tables occupied. We got some waters and a menu, and then nothing. We waited as many servers walked past us, at least a dozen times, and no one even acknowledged us. A simple, "we'll be with you in a moment" would have been helpful, but there was nothing. And this is the second time this has happened, so that is why I am leaving this review. There won't be a third. read more

My husband and I just moved to the area and were looking for a new breakfast place. Our neighbors recommended that we try it out. It did not disappoint! We were immediately greeted, everyone was super friendly. We ordered lattes, which were so good. The bean they use is super smooth! We've tried a couple different dishes now, and all have been sublime. A must try! read more

HIDDEN GEM!! Oh My Gosh! Garden Center meets Restaurant with Gift Shop!! Beautifully decorated and incredibly cozy interior with sturdy tables and chairs, a seating area and bar with amazing leather sofas and tall ceilings, wood floors and super clean!!! They have several outdoor seating areas and a large event center with bright, glass doors perfect for weddings, large parties and even conventions!! Lots of additional parking in the rear of the complex. We came for breakfast today and it was fairly empty and quiet. The menu was reasonably priced with a good selection of items to choose from. My heart soared when I saw the Croque Madame Sandwich!! YES PLEASE!! I was not disappointed. Buttery toasted bread was generously filled with smoky, thinly sliced ham and tasty Dijon bechamel and melted Gruyère cheese on top. The fried egg was perfectly cooked and truly delicious with the sandwich. I had the option of a waffle hash brown or fries so I opted for the waffle. It came out looking like a fried hockey puck but was a greasy and delicious crunchiness! Haha I would love to come back every week!! Alas, I live in the Denver area, so only come here a couple times per year. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! Afterwards we went shopping in the greenhouse for lots of plants for my garden. I didn't care much for the persnickety short-haired lady ringing out my purchases. She was rude. But everyone else was terrific and I had a lovely time. read more

Had breakfast here a couple of weekends ago. The food was excellent but, the service lacked a little. We had to wait quite a while before our waitress took our order and it wasn't that busy had to ask twice for coffee refill. It's the little things, she could have been new.. but again try it out food was excellent!! read more

We really enjoyed our lunch there. our waitress was very good! The food was excellent with the chef being very willing to accommodate my dietary restrictions. This is very important with me fighting cancer... it's a bit on the pricey side and very noisy at lunch time. Thanks to other diners being less than considerate... but, overall very good! read more

What a cute place. We went there for brunch and we ended up sharing the French toast. It came with 3 eggs and 2 meats so we each got : French toast, 1 egg and 2 sausage. Everything was great. I would definitely go back. The service was good and everyone was very friendly. read more

The restaurants in the Grove have always been really good no matter which restaurant has been in there. The current restaurant, Cassie Bee's has a great menu with lots of options and the food never disappoints. The last time we went to the Grove, I ordered the southwest chicken wrap and it was fantastic! Because it's one of the better quality restaurants in Delta it can often have a long wait so I do recommend calling ahead for a table. But I do highly recommend the Grove and will continue to return and try new menu items! read more

Wow, we were amazed at the (positive) changes! Cassie obviously takes her reviews seriously, & looking back at a previous review, I'm beyond impressed with the improvements she has made. I loved that she responded to my review! Service was impeccable tonight (Beau), & the wine knowledge was much appreciated. I have to say, this was the best service I've received in Delta, bar none! Excellent brunch there a few days ago. The cafe is inside a larger business that had a large plant nursery, related shop, and event venue. Very friendly and prompt service. Highly recommended. Very happy we detoured through Delta and stopped there. read more

The ambiance is great with a rustic yet modern farmhouse aesthetic. Server was friendly. My husband's pickle fries and reuban were good. I order the bisquits and gravy and unfortunetly it was not my style. The sausage was bland and there was not that much in the gravy. The gravy was very bland with a glossy and gelatenous corn starch texture that reminded me of the Marie Calendar pot pies from college. The bisquits had a nice fluffy texture but were extremely salty. I ate 1/4 portion and decided to send it back. The owner/manager came out and seemed offended and slightly rude and defensive. I just said it wasnt my style...as I ate what was left of my hudband's sandwhich because I was still hungry. The manager nor the server offered to cook something else or even bring the menu back so I could order something else. This was a disappointing point of service. Ate here today for first time after frequent visits to their gift shop and garden shop. Shame on us for not eating here sooner as we only live 20 minutes away. came for brunch and loved it. My wife had chicken & biscuit and i had chicken fried steak. Both tasted great with excellent sample serving size and reasonably priced. The chef/owner came by to offer us more gravy. How could we say no? If you're ever driving along US 50 in SW Colorado look for the Grove on the eastern end of Delta The hidden secret is there is a distinct Indiana flavor here with breaded pork tenderloin sandwich at lunch and fried pork tenderloin with mashed potato's , white gravy and greens. As a fellow Hoosier familiar with southern Indiana ties, all they need now is deep fried biscuits with apple butter and sugar cream pie. read more

What a great new find in Delta (and this is coming from someone who is food-obsessed, having eaten many fantastic meals all over the world!!) Wonderful food AND a great value. I absolutely love this place. Great atmosphere and food! The only reason my rating is so low is because the past few times I have visited I have had horrible interactions with one waitress in particular. Quite unfriendly, doesn't greet me like the other waitresses (and greets others with grace?) and makes it her motive to avoid me. I'm not sure why but unfortunately after this past weekend I won't be visiting again. It really sucks because I do love the food here! And I love Cassie (and Kim!). But after being cold shouldered by her during my first visit here, I should have known it would have only gone downhill. read more

Decent food & drink with some nice appetizers and beer & wine selections. No bread served while waiting and, oddly, no spoons (?). A little more on the pricey side but the creative dishes were probably worth it. Service was also decent but the server couldn't describe the specials very well and doesn't know her meats (vegan?).
