A private condo above the marina office with our own designated parking spot and entrance. Stephanie the owner was amazing and answered any questions quickly. The 2 bedroom 1.5 bath condo had all the amenities, two comfy beds a great front room with a deck and panoramic views. It is about 40 minutes north of Lake George Village but the solitude is what we were looking for. I definitely recommend this as a spot for a couple or small family.

The…read morebuying process was straightforward, not a whole lot of negotiating as the boat price basically is set by the manufacturer with protected areas for them so the only room for the marinas to move is with service and set up. Our particular purchase had quite a few moving parts between a potential trade-in, living out of state and then the complications from crossing state lines for boat and trailer registrations etc. Dan in sales along with their office staff dealt with all questions issues promptly. No overselling at all, just guidance as to what we want and need vs what is available. George the owner along with his son are hands-on and helped us with everything from paperwork to pulling the boat out on the trailer, very unassuming owner that I had at first assumed was an employee that was just being extremely helpful. After someone at a public dock stepped into the boat one eve with grease on their boots, the marina staff at Boats By George noticed it and cleaned the seat for me before I arrived to pull the boat out of the water. Nice touch I must say. Anyway, the new boat and trailer was a big purchase for us and this professional organization from family owners all the way down to the dock boys, not to mention the other team members that introduced themselves to us. The team made it all very smooth and without any buyers remorse at all. Highly recommend this marina and the Cobalt boats that they sell!

The boat pavilion, next to the docks, where the catered dinner was located, was a great space. The collection of boats of the various members, was quite interesting. It really is a truly hidden gem. My only issue was the extremely steep walkway down to the docks. Later learned a much easier path upon leaving. Signage could have helped with that. One near the parking lot should state "The Courageous can follow this path", with another, "The Less Courageous must take this path". All in all, a very quaint boating club.

Amazing stop at Lynn's marina and Tavern at Lock 12. For starters, this is our third time stopping…read morehere on our Jetski trips. Lynn is the reason we keep coming back. He has always been super responsive to our group, and his knowledge of the area is extensive. We docked at his marina and stayed overnight at Big G's Pub airbnb just up the block. Lynn was super-accommodating. Ten of us descended on his Pub for a late dinner, and despite being short on help at that late hour, Lynn did not disappoint. Wings, burgers, steaks, fries, were all fresh, hot and delicious. Jim at the bar keep our drinks cold and full. We enjoyed the classic rock music and playing pool, but most of all we enjoyed chatting with Lynn and hearing of his exploits and adventures. Two of our ski's broke down on our way to Whitehall, so we left them at a marina on our way up. Lynn called us the next day to see if we were able to pick them up or if we needed help. If you are in the area, stop by for a beer, a bite and a chat with Lynn, absolutely one of the nicest guys we have ever met. (Lynn, if you are reading this, pencil us in again for next summer, we'll be back!)

Lynn is a special human with a huge heart and 1000 stories to tell. The Marina is clean and the beers are cold.
