The class was hard but also relaxing because it was heated. The instructor was specific and knew her stuff. The class was full but you had to register to get a spot. We had plenty of room to spread out. I attend several life time locations and this one is close to work. The app is super convent and allows you to look for a specific class, locations and instructors. The facility is beautiful , well maintained and the gym environment is lively and energetic which helps motivate you.

CONs (This is where it lacks in comparison to Golds Gym that I'm accustom to) - The equipment is so/so...some are good and some pointless, the dumbbell selection in the 15-30lb range is terrible...good luck getting these weights without waiting forever, the same can be said for preloaded bars...there's like no selection...and the same can be said for 25lb plates as it seems like people are always looking for them, the crowd/vibe is alright at best and it tends to be a lot of younger kids, which isn't bad but it's just not the vibe I'm used too...oh and others that don't know decent gym etiquette...and there isn't much space to do stuff in the free weight area as people are basically on top of each other. You can get a decent work out in, but maybe the smaller chain gyms are better in this area.

I have been at this gym for the better part of the year and a half and when I first started, it was…read moreone of the best gyms I had been to. Which is why I stepped around for so long, however, being a former combat veteran I have injuries that require special equipment that was a bit bulky that corporate made a clear to not have gym bags on the floor, I had made a special arrangement to use a smaller bag to house my equipment about the size of a gallon water bottle so it would "be out of everybody's way". They do have a sign that says to "refrain" from having bags on the floor. A recommendation, not a hardcoded rule. Regardless with my drawstring gym bag underneath the equipment, I was working out on. I had a manager come up and asked me to put everything away. This makes it especially difficult as I have to walk back-and-forth between the locker room to use different assisting equipment for my injuries. I explained the arrangement I had with the previous manager and she instead rather sarcastically told me it doesn't matter that corporate is coming down hard. I am not one to argue so I did oblige and since I paid for the membership, I will be leaving and going back to lifetime fitness after my membership fees are completed here. I highly recommend you do not work out here or start a membership here as they are way overpriced for mediocre equipment and any requests take absolute months to fulfill. As a disabled combat veteran I should not have to walk back-and-forth every time I change an exercise to grab assisting equipment to support said exercises. Based on the rather brash and rude interaction with this manager, I will be contacting the BBB based on the context of the sign, being a combat veteran, and the strife it causes me, including that there are bigger problems than gym bags on the floor, such as continuously, drop weights, misaligned equipment, and un wiped down surfaces. Do yourselves a favor and instead of paying for the membership here, just go ahead and go to lifetime fitness because for the membership fee, you will pay here, you will have access to two gyms instead at lifetime Please see the sign below. If this is a rule, then anybody that is dropping equipment, not wiping anything down, or not re-racking their weights should have a stern talking to just like I did. But I don't see any of that happening.

Trainers are great at keeping up with each individual and may adjust your workout if they know you can tolerate more or less. No two days are the same from what I hear, all the people are very nice and supportive here! I would definitely recommend giving it a try since they do have the try it for 3 days free!

They told me to try the Personal training program. I asked if I can stop anytime, then they replied YES! after around 2 months I tried to stop it, they just told me only the manager can do that. When I spoke with the manager.... He said NO! Its in the contract that you signed!!! (A LONG WITH SMALL LETTERS CONTRACT!) and that it's not their obligation to tell us what's everything on it! OMG!!! Yes, not everything, BUT they should have specified the highlights of the contract before letting us sign because customers usually rely on what they say and sign! THEY SHOULD have told me NO you can't stop once you started it UNLESS you move 25 miles away, You're Dead, or You're disabled! So, that's the catch! As I was looking to attend a class that day, I did further research and went on their Facebook page and saw various different phone numbers, so I called one. I was told that their 7/3 evening classes were cancelled - although the classes were listed on their website - but I could come to the 9 AM class the next day - 7/4. Then I began getting texts from another person who asked about my availability to talk about Fit Crew. I said I was currently available. I was told I'd get a call in a few minutes, then I got a text two hours later that promised a call. I didn't receive a call at all that day. In spite of all of this, I STILL decided to give them a shot. My best friend and I showed up for 9 AM class. The trainer that was there asks if we were looking for the "Black guy" -- after we've said we were there for boot camp. Then, he explains that the Black guy does the boot camp and he didn't think it was happening due to the holiday. This experience was both unprofessional and a complete waste of time. PS - I got a phone call from the texter 19 hours later.
