On many occasions, we've been inside the facility greater than 2 hours. My mother, with dementia, is literally still in the chair, from a 1:00 Appt, it's 3:28 at the time of this post. The facility is dirty, floors with bugs and God knows what wasn't swept up when they cleaned 3 months ago. The dentists are a revolving door. Once we have a good one, they leave. We'll be seeking more professional services that further align with the quality of care we deserve, and her insurance compensates for. read more

Just left, place is not good. i have a bridge I need to have replaced. Bunches of forms, typical. Then they want you to pay in advance. i provided CC but told them i wouldnt sign receipt until served. They refused to serve me. So they won't be getting my business. Rude, and inflexible. i did ask to speak to management, but was refused. Been to 3 other more reputable dentists for consults about this bridge. This is not good place to go, the only person I can appreciate is Dr Griffin and his assistant . On February 23/2023 went there i get done with my tooth I requested doctor to give me note what he finds in my tooth, he knows someone else did wrong the same tooth previously so I can submit it to my insurance or for my copy previously what I paid they asked me to provide it He willing to give me not or when he found it and told me I already put it in your chart so the front desk they can give you it's there ask them. After I went ask my records, they refused to give me I think they were two ladies one of the front desk blonde hair her name Elida told her to the other lady we don't give. I wasn't happy when I went there to grab my cleaning kit on Monday. because front desk lady blonde hair she's not nice at all. I need to talk to whoever did my cleaning kit to show me how to apply at home she kind push me away I paid $400 not easy she doesn't care, I don't know how to apply it's been sitting until now. I wish I could give a negative star rating. I came in for an 8:15 appt and it was 10:30 before I saw a doctor. I had x-Rays done and they had me speak to several people about all kinds of other "services". I don't want to be upsold, I made an appointment to get a temporary filling until I could schedule a root canal (since I live far and can't see my doctor for a month) . I am appalled that I couldn't get basic service without them trying to make a few extra bucks. Please do your research before coming here! I live a good 45 minutes from here , I came in for a consultation for my braces and they scheduled my appointment for today(4/1/21) last week but when I came in for it they said I don't have an appointment and so now I have to wait till next thursday which they said is the only day they do braces..... I went to these people on a Wednesday got a prescription for an antibiotic that did not work! I called Thursday and Friday to tell them it was not working and I was still in PAIN AND MY MOUTH WAS STILL SWOLLEN they told me to wait until MONDAY to let the antibiotic work! Duh people if it did not kick in on THURSDAY EVENING IT IS NOT WORKING! My end result was Pain Pain Pain fever and more PAIN Saturday I finally went to the ER! This place is terrible! My chart has been lost TWICE. Every time I come in for an appointment, they have no idea what I'm there for. Every piece of paperwork that has been requested from me (doctor's notes) has been lost. They have even tried to get me to pay for something my insurance covered. I had to pull out my own records just to show them! I also have waited 40 minutes to be seen by someone after arriving 5 minutes early for my appointment! They're very unprofessional. I would like to give a negative, but to post anything you must give a star, my daughter is being seen by the orthodontist at this location that is completely unprofessional, he's more worried about getting to lunch and his phone rather than actual care, and insurance doesn't cover everything so I am a paying patient that should be helped correctly, I had my first daughter here in humble when it was a different location, since being seen at this location with this orthodontist I am so disappointed in castle dental. And like he said "I am the doctor over this case" so he decides on how things will be. My son definitely will need to get braces elsewhere. read more

I really love Dr. Griffin and his staff! He is delightful to work with, always in a good mood and will go above and beyond to make your feel comfortable. Professional and fast! Kim at the front is very helpful and will be sure all your paperwork and/or cost breakdown is explained. About a year ago, I couldn't find anyone in town to take my wisdom teeth out under $3k, I went to see Dr. Griffin and his team and for less than $100 with my insurance I was out the door in less than 30 minutes of my procedure. I used a local anesthesia for that procedure and had zero pain afterwards with a quick heal. I did have one the was impacted sideways and needed to be taken out by an oral surgeon, so I opted to wait on this one. Earlier this year, I had West Lake Houston Dental quote me $7k for an oral surgery to remove that impacted wisdom tooth, as well as a bone graph that was needed because of the way it had impacted only. In addition to this quote, for a standard cleaning that was 100% covered by my insurance West Lake Dental wanted $400 for a cleaning because it needed to be upgraded, and that I also needed a few fillings but wouldn't discuss any work further until I paid the $7k to get my wisdom tooth removed. I declined all work and took the paperwork for cost breakdown. I called Castle Dental and they were able to quote my cleaning AND fillings with a sealant replacement for about $200, with an upgraded irrigation cleaning. I was also referred to their Oral Surgeon for my impacted wisdom tooth. They are only there once a month as they are a traveling team so it was a little bit of a wait but I can't praise their oral surgeon team enough. Dr. CJ Eseonu did my consultation and surgery same day. There is a possibility you will have to wait around if you are wanting a same day procedure, which I didn't mind at all and in my case it wasn't long at all. They see several oral surgery patients on this one day and they need work done as well so time wasn't an issue to me. Their team works their tails off! My consultation started at about 2pm, and I was sedated about 3:30pm and on my way home by 4:15pm. He could tell I was very nervous, and made sure I felt comfortable and even called that evening once I was home to check on me. All my recovery meds were ready for pickup by the time we left straight from Castle to my pharmacy, and he left my driver with very thorough instructions on post op care and medications. I did have an IV sedation for this procedure. My quote through Castle Dental was literally $6k less than what the other dentist had tried to charge me, WITH the bone graph included. I have been putting my impacted wisdom tooth off for years, and was so happy with the care and prices I received. Even more happy that that tooth is finally out and I no longer have to worry! Highly recommend Castle Dental overall, and I really appreciate the honest work they do. read more

I've decided to update my initial review. I was upset initially due to miscommunications however after expressing this, the customer service is much better and the office organized and being run efficiently. They respond to patients in a timely manner and work with your schedule to book your appointments (this was important to me being that I am away in school). The general dentist and dental assistants are extremely pleasant. The office is very clean. The customer service representative was very accommodating when I voiced my prior concerns or frustrations. I am very pleased with the services being provided as well as the customer service being provided by the staff. read more

Been using this location for a couple years for orthodontics. I should have only had my braces on for 18 months and it's been 25 months. Two months ago a new orthodontist took over that seems to know what he's doing however he inherited a mess and the wait time is ridiculous! read more

If there was a 0 stars option I would gladly use it right about now. I'm so upset! My husband and I went to the dentist office at 3:00. We waited for almost and hour and a half to get seen. The dentist was running behind with a previous client doing an implant. We were told to reschedule our appointment or wait another to see the dentist. The receptionist that was there told me that the hygienist isn't there so we won't get a cleaning today just an exam and X-ray. The previous receptionist I spoke to over the phone asked me what did I need and said to her an exam and cleaning. She told me I could get that all done in the same day. Today they told me the hygienist doesn't work on any Monday's at all. Then why schedule me on a day when you know your hygienist isn't available?? It was hard for me to get off work and very hard for my husband to get off as well. We have busy lives and for them to treat us like that really pissed me off! Waiting once again. I had to come back to have my permanent town put in. I arrived at 2:30 for my 2:40 appointment and here I am at 3:25 writing a review again because I have not been seen. This time the equipment is to be sterilized. Why do I keep coming back here you ask? My insurance benefits ran out so I got a discount plan that my dentist doesn't take and flex plan dollars I have to spend before the end of the year. I started my quest for a decent fitting upper partial on 04/13/2017. The first one was extremely ill fitting, the second one was so loose that I had to keep my tongue on it to talk so it wouldn't fall down and forget about eating with it. I thought the 3rd time was the charm as a different lab was used and it fit perfectly....but...within an hour of wearing it, it had created sores inside my lip as the teeth on the partial were sticking out at an angle...something both Dr. Bock and I didn't notice before I left the office. Hurricane Harvey happened between #2 and # 3 partial so there was a long time period before I could pick up # 3. Then the Humble office was closed for a few weeks due to water damage, and Dr. Bock only is at the Humble office 2 days a week so the time you wait to get an appointment with her is lengthy, so I was not able to get back to the office in a timely basis to see about getting a redo...for the 4th time. Now they say that they will redo it again, but I will have to pay half. What a shakedown! Since I have already paid close to $1000, I do not think that I should have to pay again for the lab's shoddy work and the delays due to a natural disaster to perhaps/maybe get a proper fitting partial! I have been wearing partials (due to a car accident) for 40 years and never have I had such a problem getting a correctly fitting partial. I just want a correctly fitting partial, so Castle Dental either needs to give me my $$ back so I can go elsewhere and get one that fits or they need to accept responsibility and make it right. read more

The employees were extremely rude and when we needed help with questions getting answered the lady at the front and the other one were too busy talking about food and they ignored us. The front desk lady would always switch her answers around and she made no sense and she wouldn't let us talk she kept blurting out her opinion while we tried to talk. She just kept antagonizing us for no reason instead of helping us. The dentists ignored my mom even though she paid in full and she was in pain and crying and the dentists never showed up because they were talking even more and we were the only ones left in the clinic, and before we were the only ones left some of the doctors were calling patients "bitch" and "annoying" and telling them "Shut up." They were extremely overpriced and they are not kind or helpful, the service even left my mom with a wiggly tooth and they kept walking all over the place and leaving instead of just staying to help her. Overall, this clinic was awful and I highly recommend you don't spend your money here. read more

The worst experience my wife has ever had, Had a crown put in two years ago and it fell out. Shoddy work, as they left an active partial root. They want to charge $ 4,600 for crown replacement and repair another tooth. That is with insurance. Unbelievable! I am complaining with Better Business Bureau. Buyer beware. read more
