I requested a quote and the biz came back quickly giving us directions to the warehouse for more info or a # to call. No fancy office here, just a warehouse. The guy was so helpful and very clear and transparent which is always appreciated. We had our landscaper put it in vs going with their crew for price purposes. You can purchase from them with or without install although their guarantee doesn't accommodate you (or very limited) without their install services. We legit went to 5-6 different turf spots for samples and this was one of the more expensive options, but it blew the competition outta the water. It's by far the most realistic looking/luxurious turf. Thanks to Yelp for helping us find this gem!

Everyone was so patient and great. I probably called and talked to them at least 10+ times, Lou even answered my call while on vacation in Mexico! We only bought the turf and infill and used our own contractor to install in Oakland. However, I did about 6-12 months of research and sample gathering across many different turf companies and suppliers (WaterSavers, TigerTurf, SGS in LA, Heavenly Greens, BeeGreen, etc.) and SYNLawn's quality was consistently superior while also providing the most natural look. We also were considering the previous SynBlue 949 (which is no longer being manufactured) as it doesn't seem to require infill and many past customers in our area are extremely happy with it. It's super lush and felt very nice but has more of a yellowish hue when side-by-side with SynBlue 745. We also wanted to compare but weren't able to get a sample of the 545, but ultimately felt good about going with the higher density and face weight of the 745. Unfortunately, Yelp posted my pics in random order but you can see the general before and after. We're so thankful to have a wonderful place space for our kids, and to have found SYNLawn when we did (it was the last turf company I researched after someone recommended them from a neighborhood FB group). OTHER FINALISTS My other finalists were either Dune/Sage from SGS or an unidentified sample from Heavenly Greens. SGS to their credit was honest that those lines were meant for landscaping and may get matted down or have breakage over time with heavy play usage. We didn't enjoy the sales reps from Heavenly Greens and were unfortunately never able to narrow down the name of the sample we liked from them (there were no tags attached). Our neighbors installed Willow from WaterSavers, but it was not as plush or thick underfoot as the SynBlue 745, and not as natural in appearance. Overall, we're thrilled with our decision and hope this long overdue review helps someone else! (Our kids now use the other turf samples as "plates" on the turf when they play "restaurant." :))

Before committing, we did a ton of research and had five different companies come out to provide quotes. Jacob stood out from the very first meeting. He was the only person who proactively brought a variety of samples for us to feel and see in our own yard, which made the decision so much easier. He is clearly an expert on the product; he spent time answering my many questions and specifically addressed our concerns regarding durability for our dogs and safety for the kids. His professionalism and hustle are top-notch. He sent us a detailed quote the very same day he visited and had a list of references for us to call within 48 hours. Throughout the process, his communication was excellent--he responded to every message quickly, so we were never left wondering about the next steps. On top of the great service, his pricing was very fair and competitive compared to the other bids we received. It's rare to find that combination of product knowledge, efficiency, and honest pricing. If you're looking for someone reliable who does high-quality work, I cannot recommend Jacob highly enough!

They installed the turf in a single piece as I asked and it looks flawless. The edges, the cutouts around the 2'x2' stepping stone make it look like the turf is growing next to the stone. My previous install showed a small amount of the black fabric underneath. I didn't know what I was missing until this job was done. The estimate was provided professionally and Jacob answered all my questions to allow me to make a good informed decision. Oswaldo and team installed it to perfection. Highly recommended!

I had been planning to get turf for a while and created a project in yelp to get quotes. I got 4…read morequotes total and Turf World was the best fit for our budget. We wanted a low cost but good installation for our dogs who would be constantly on it. They came out the next day to provide a quote. They were the only team to give a quote on the spot and correctly measure our yard. They also were the only team that wouldn't charge us extra for our weird shape/unused turf. There was an option for gopher wire, we declined but nice to know it was an option. All quotes were in the range of $12-$18 per sq ft. I signed the quote easily through their tracking system and communicated with Jason via yelp messenger. One week later, they came out and did the install from 8am-2pm and as promised, they cleaned everything and even fixed some wire plant fencing the dogs messed up. They had asked me about water lines but I wasn't sure and they ended up accidentally punching a nail into one. They very quickly patched it up and continued on. That is totally my bad for not knowing, they informed me immediately, and they were very professional about the mishap. Payment was easy through their payment portal and a text came with the link to pay just as the team finished their work. We are so happy with the finished product and couldn't be happier with the quality of the team. The efficiency was unreal. We thought this would be a much longer project but 1 week later, here we are! Bonus: some things we learned about turf - turf comes in 15ft wide rolls which determines if you'll have seams - most installers are using the same turf and they all cost the same price - larger installer companies will charge you more because they outsource to smaller and medium sized companies like Turf World so you might as well go right to the source. - whoever you get to install can recommend the best type of turf for your use case (ours was need for lasting turf for dogs) - there are layers to turf, not just the grass on top so the cost includes gravel, sand, siding, staples, weed tarp, hauling away dirt, etc. you can't just roll out turf you buy yourself and have the same result. - the reason for the layers is partly because of drainage, you don't want soggy turf! If you look at the underside of the turf, you can see the drainage holes and depending on what you want, you may want a turf with more drainage holes.

I initially reached out to get a price quote on my backyard after we removed all of our trees. I am trying to turn my back yard into a space I want to be comfortable in (like most everyone else.) Jason initially reached out to us and offered to come take a look at our yard the very next day. He arrived promptly and was so personable and offered his expert opinion and recommendations. My main concern was having turf that looked like grass to me but would also maintain well against my pets and he delivered and helped us pick the grass that would best fit our needs. I also loved that he made design recommendations that would work well for our yard. His team did a fantastic job even went above and beyond to fix a broken latch on our gate. I was not expecting that. My husband can't stop going into our backyard because he enjoys it so much. March 08, 2026: Turns out I never posted my initial review and wanted to continue the conversation now a few months later. The yard is absolutely FANTASTIC! The grass looks beautiful and Jasons team did end up coming out in January to put up plants and decorative rocks. Everything is beautiful! Honestly I wake up early just so I can sit outside and eat my breakfast in my yard and my husband has to ask me to come back in. My husband and I have already decided that when we are ready to do our front yard we will be reaching out back to Jason. 100% would recommend this company.

I AM FILING CASE IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT. I bought the most expensive "Evernatural premium" turf from San Jose branch - around 1000 feet for my backyard. Since I am end customer, I do not know anything about infill, but I was given Zeofill 21 bags. Once my contractor put down the turf and added Zeofill, the turf became white/creamish the next day morning. So I contacted watersavers claims department and they redirected my call to the main manufacturer of turf (global sync turf). One person from global sync came to my home to evaluate and came to conclusion that turf is all good, and suggested me to wash the turf using CLR (without giving me any reason why it became white in first place). I called watersavers and they said they dont know the reason why turf became white, but asked me to follow advice given by global sync. I asked my contractor to wash it using CLR and even after washing it multiple times, the turf was still white. CLR also made the turf rough. Worst thing was CLR releases bad smell / irritation in eyes, and we had to keep our windows closed (and backyard inaccessible) for weeks. After 1 month of useless turf, I decided to replace it on my own cost. When I consulted 3 different turf companies, all suggested that Zeofill is not the right infill for residential purpose and can leave white residue. FINALLY I got my turf replaced and lost all money for 1000 feet turf and labor.
