WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE - I lost around 7100$ because of bad quality turf/infill given by watersavers - 3800$ (turf cost) + 320$ (Zeofill) + 3000$ labor (my contractor) for putting turf through watersavers. I AM FILING CASE IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT. I bought the most expensive "Evernatural premium" turf from San Jose branch - around 1000 feet for my backyard. Since I am end customer, I do not know anything about infill, but I was given Zeofill 21 bags. Once my contractor put down the turf and added Zeofill, the turf became white/creamish the next day morning. So I contacted watersavers claims department and they redirected my call to the main manufacturer of turf (global sync turf). One person from global sync came to my home to evaluate and came to conclusion that turf is all good, and suggested me to wash the turf using CLR (without giving me any reason why it became white in first place). I called watersavers and they said they dont know the reason why turf became white, but asked me to follow advice given by global sync. I asked my contractor to wash it using CLR and even after washing it multiple times, the turf was still white. CLR also made the turf rough. Worst thing was CLR releases bad smell / irritation in eyes, and we had to keep our windows closed (and backyard inaccessible) for weeks. After 1 month of useless turf, I decided to replace it on my own cost. When I consulted 3 different turf companies, all suggested that Zeofill is not the right infill for residential purpose and can leave white residue. FINALLY I got my turf replaced and lost all money for 1000 feet turf and labor. read more

I knew the exact artificial grass (Global Syn-turf) I wanted and submitted an inquiry on their website. Watersavers reached out since they were a supplier and distributer. I worked with Magali from Watersavers. She was very responsive and great to work with. A few items of feedback. I wasn't made aware of the delivery process until the day I ordered. They ship the next day, which is great, however they only have one person deliver everything for you and simply drop off the items off at curbside. If you don't have a team of landscapers readily available on delivery day to help you, you're out of luck. Living in San Francisco, it isn't ideal to leave items out on curbside. So make sure you plan accordingly. I also had 22, 50 pound bags of infill. Many of the bags upon arrival were torn, and taped up. Some had visible holes where sand continued to fall out. I inquired about this and was told this was reinforcement and uncommon for few particles to come out. When I personally buy something, I'd like to know the items are brand new and in new condition. There was no way of knowing if I got my money's worth unless I weighed each bag, which would be unreasonable. Lastly, based on your square footage need, they will suggest a specific number of bags of sand. I had 22 total 50 pound bags. My landscaper eventually only used 13 bags since the sand was piling up pretty high and was more than ample. I think it will depend on personal preference. However, the return policy is sort of iffy. They ask you to call the store directly and they may or may not take it back. And the store is in San Rafael which isn't near us and inconvenient to drive that far. Now I'm stuck with 9 bags at close to $20 per bag! read more

Good Morning Cassie, I'm really pleased to have selected Unique Pavers for my synthetic lawn installation. Rick was the most professional and responsive of the four companies I got quotes from. Most of them complained about the cost of getting rid of the dirt and wanted to put it someplace on my property. Not Rick, and he had the best price. I was also impressed he had drone technology to measure the square footage. His friendly team arrived Saturday at 9:30, removed the dirt, put down the gopher wire and drain rock and were finished by 3:00. They will be back on Tuesday to put the ground concrete layer on and then the turf. A totally efficient and proficient team. Once again, I'm very pleased with Rick's business practices. As a small business owner, I've been ordering items from various distributors and companies for years and Cassie was easily the easiest and most pleasant person to deal with. She is highly knowledgeable in this field and helped a complete novice with all my questions. Thanks so much for making it all so easy on my end! A little background on my project. We recently bought a new home and want to convert the back concrete parking area into a backyard. I had already purchased the synthetic lawn from Home Depot (like a dummy) and needed shock padding for underneath. I found Watersavers online and dealt with Cassie to take care of my shock pad needs. I had told her I already had purchased the lawn and wouldn't need any but wished I had found them sooner. I went ahead and ordered the shock padding and glue. That was on a Thursday, the shock pad arrived Friday (the next day). My synthetic lawn was supposed to be delivered that Friday as well and lucky for me, it was not. The following Monday I checked the status of my lawn with Home Depot only to find that they made a mistake and it wouldn't be coming for another week. I told them to cancel my order and I got right on the phone with Cassie. I told what type of synthetic lawn I had ordered through Home Depot, she found me something comparable and in the same price range, sold me some bags of infill and the total was $13 less than just the lawn at Home Depot. I will be recommending Watersavers to everyone I know who is interested in synthetic lawns and I will absolutely tell them to ask for Cassie!!! We had been trying (unsuccessfully) to get calls back from several people who were recommended to install our turf. Our landscaper was willing to do everything but the actual turf itself. Must have been too small a job, because we couldn't seem to get any response. Beware of this organization and Jennifer Schindler. She helped us find someone to install her product and once he had it 75% installed he explained that there is a glare coming off of our windows that is going to burn the fake grass and ruin it. We called Jennifer and she denied recommending the installer and told us we need to buy a special window tinting product to prevent the fake grass from being ruined. We had already paid her for the grass product so she wouldn't return calls. When we called her manager he simply listened to our complaint and had her call us back. They were not willing to take any responsibility for this and acted as if it was our problem. read more
