I use to spend lots of money in this store, however my car was broken and I had to take the light rail to the store and I had a backpack. When I entered the store the manger said I could not have my backpack on in the store. I asked if he could hold it at the counter for me and he declined. I am impartial about the Castle Megastore on Camelback. I observe the store as probably being a good place for a person or couple who is just now deciding to visit an adult shop or explore their sexuality more. The selection will do if you're into the more vanilla stuff--however--if you're looking for more on the restraints/fetish side of things, then this place probably isn't for you. Sure, there are the token handcuffs and beginners Japanese rope kits with a few paddles thrown in there, but nothing really exciting. The was an average amount of lingerie/hoisery/costume supplies available that'd probably be great for someone dressing up in the bedroom for their first time with a partner/partners, but not a whole lot for men in that department. I had the most wonderful experience here last night! I came in around 10:20 with my boyfriend because we were driving past it and have never stopped in before. First off, the place is HUGE! We were kindly greeted by Zhara and she made us feel very welcome. After we kinda wandered around for a bit she came up and gave us some info on whatever we happened to be looking at at the time. From there she was so attentive and answered EVERY SINGLE QUESTION I HAD, mind you I had plenty!!!!!! They don't know the product they sell. Be careful before you make an expensive purchase. Mistake 1: They spent 20 minutes selling me on the we-vibe with cell phone connection. Was very disappointed with the customer service. Came in with 6 girls ready to spend some money for the bride to be. We were immediately rejected because one of our friends had a large purse to carry all of our stuff to carry for dinner after. I would understand why they wouldn't want the purse due to theft but not only did we offer them to hold it behind the counter (and was denied) we tried to set it in the parking lot (risking it to be stolen) just so that we can shop. They stated that it couldn't be on the premise and having it in the parking lot wasn't good enough. I'm no stranger to Castle, but this was my first time at this location on Camelback. I'm not shy and usually know exactly what I'm looking for, this time I wasn't too sure. The guy ( Caleb) who was working was helping another customer when I walked in, even mid sentence he said hello, I'm walking in circles looking for a product I could not find. As soon as he was done with the other customers he immediately came over and asked if I needed help, I told him what I was looking for , and even his asking very specific questions didn't bother me as he seemed very knowledgeable, I explained what I wanted and for what, and with a raised eyebrow he walked into the back room, grabbed a product that was not for sale to show me. It was the feel and texture I was looking for but not the product, but low and behold he knew exactly where to get it. He called another store... in ALASKA and is having it shipped to his location, as he was on the pone setting it up, I'm just grabbing other things that peek my interest, he quickly tells me... you don't want that... look at these, same product, not much price difference but after his explanation, I was sold. Talk about customer service where you don't expect it! This guy not only knows what he's selling, but he's not creepy, doesn't make you feel uncomfortable ( not that I am anyway) It was like deciding on which TV was better, Hell , they guys at the BEST electronics store could learn a thing or two from this guy. I'm a big fan of Castle, but this location makes me rethink my loyalty to it. Upon arrival, the guy by the door greeted me with a dirty look that lead me to believe he was not in a good mood, and not happy for the likes of me to interrupt his day. Next, I asked him if he had something being held at the counter for me, and he went back to get it. He brought it to the counter, sort of threw it down in front of me, and told me that's it. I asked if I could try it on, and he said no quite bluntly and then went on to inform me that most of the girls who tried them on *looks me up and down* 'stretch it out and we cant sell it then' While I can understand the human condition of judgement, I cannot believe that as a salesperson he be that flat out insulting to me.
