The venue was breathtaking and magical. So many compliments to the venue and overall location. I would not suggest to do the inclusive package (catering, cake, etc) as there are additional costs such as Chandelier/lighting package even though it's already setup. Flowers for the cake were extra, so we got a much more economical pricing and had someone put flowers on the cake versus the quoted high pricing. Any outside catering from the inclusive package is very restrictive; as we had pretzel company serving little pretzel knots and they wanted them individually wrapped, which is odd for a little bite sized treat. They ended up staying, but were required to move away from the hired caterer to another part of the room because it would potentially create liabilities in case someone got sick. We were wanting to show a quick presentation, but their TV inputs were broken and only a CD or Thumbdrive would work. However, the thumbdrive could not be read as the files were not in the correct file format causing us to get a projector, laptop, speakers, and buy extra cords to show a small power point presentation of the bride and grooms slideshow with music. They hire only their own DJ's, but he did not speak English, even though we spoke Spanish he struggled in his communications. He did not follow the wedding agenda given to him almost a month prior, he did not download ANY of the songs sent and without the Wedding Coordinator being right by his side to use the thumbdrive we provided to play the correct songs for the wedding and he did not dress professionally for a formal wedding. The venue is beautiful, the location is central. I would just not encourage to pay a premium price for a small catered menu, where parents can save their money and have an outside catering company, get their own flowers and coordinate some of those basics without a high pricing. I don't feel we got the best pricing for what we received, but we choose to go this route to save time & money. Which was not the case, I feel we paid a high price for a wedding lady to coordinate flowers, catering and table and colors that we would had to be done anyway. read more

It was really nice to have a venue that did almost everything! I didn't have to worry about finding an accepted vendor! And their catering service provides a lot of variety so it made the planning really simple. On the day of the catering team was super helpful and considerate. I had a lot of timing concerns because I was doing a dinner and a flowing reception and they set up in time and took down the buffet exactly when I told them. Because they laid out their services and the specifics of the services in their pamphlet that they gave me when I initially went and saw the venue when I went back to plan with the wedding planner there weren't many surprises and it went rather quickly and painlessly. The decorations that they do set up were arrange beautifully when we arrived and we just put up some of our extras. They have a lot of variety in their decorations too. The only thing that wasn't exactly clear in the pamphlet was the tablecloths and the flowers. The tablecloths that come as part of the package are the pinched ones rather than flat steamed ones. The flat steamed ones were $5 extra per table which wasn't bad so I just paid it. Also the flowers that come with the package were roses and I don't like roses so that is something to be aware of. read more

My husband and I got married in March and we're so glad that we chose Castle Park as our venue. We chose the all-inclusive package, which included dinner, flowers, cake, decorations, and a wedding planner. That made the whole wedding process so much easier. The venue was absolutely beautiful, we had our ceremony and reception in the upper ballroom. The bride's room was absolutely gorgeous as well as the decor for the ceremony and reception. Our wedding photos turned out so beautiful not only because we had an amazing photographer but because of all the beautiful places to take pictures, which included the ballroom, outside areas, as well as the castle. We also had the opportunity to take our engagement pictures there as well. The wedding planners did a great job making sure everything flowed nicely throughout the day of the wedding and did a great job during the rehearsal. My favorite part of the wedding was having our first dance to instrumental music played by a string trio, it was absolutely beautiful. We are so grateful for everything that Shay and Amy did to make our dream fairy tale wedding a reality. We received so many compliments from our guests, everyone was happy. We had a wonderful experience through Castle Park. They were very professional and helpful. They answered all of our questions quickly. We had our reception there. The decorations they set up were beautiful. They did our flowers, wedding cake, catering. It all turned out so amazingly. They also let us bring in a few of our own decorations and pictures to personalize it to our liking. I loved that they were so well organized at all of our meetings to help us get everything planned out so well, that our special day ran flawlessly. I loved that they even had the outdoor castle lights on for us, so our guests could explore the grounds. The sparkler send off was very fun. I also loved that we were able to schedule a time in advance to come and use their events center and grounds to take bridal photos and a First Look video. It was also helpful to have a sound check meeting the week before the wedding to make sure our video and music would all work on the night of the wedding. That proved to be a great step in making our night run more smoothly. The catering staff were amazing at doing all the food and clean up for us. We were very pleased with our experience through Castle Park. I would highly recommend them. read more

This is a beautiful wedding venue. My daughter felt like a princess. All we did was bring flowers and bridal pictures. The upper ballroom is elegant and sophisticated. The ceiling drapes are worth the price, they really created a great atmosphere. Long tufted table cloths (they are beautiful) are included in the basic cost as well as many table runners and centerpieces to choose from. It is immaculate and has a nice scent. Overall we couldn't have been happier. Castle Park allows outside food vendors, so don't let that cost scare you away. The bride's room is pretty. They even have a groom's room with video games and a TV for the wedding party to have some down time. The guest bathrooms are right there and very nice. The large kitchen was wonderful with full size fridges etc. The wedding planner was fun and the planning sessions really made my daughter excited to get married and feel very special. Don't hesitate to book this place. We had many wedding guests tell us that this was the most beautiful wedding they have attended. It was easy and low stress. The day was wonderful. read more

I was so blown away with this place! I got married at the end of May 2014, and I was SO happy with the service, the quality appearance and the price of Castle Park. Right from the get-go, the staff was very informative and helpful. They gave me an all inclusive tour of the facility, scheduled multiple planning meetings with me and followed up on appointments. Whenever I had questions, they would answer them clearly and kindly. I also loved how the place looked. The gardens were full of beautiful flowers and trees, making pictures turn out great. Inside the building was very classy! It was clean and of a high quality appearance. I'm not a very creative person, so I handed all of the decor and floral work over to the Castle Park staff. It turned out perfect and they really captured the feeling I wanted for my wedding. The decor was high quality and the floral work looked really professional. Overall, this place is definitely worth going to. Don't be deceived by their prices, because you get such great service and high quality appearance that you won't find anything better in the valley. read more

I loved Castle Park! Not only is it a beautiful venue but they made the wedding planning process such a breeze! Since I did the all inclusive package they literally take care of everything. All you need to do is send pictures of what you want certain things to look like, like bouquet and cake etc. You go to two planning meetings to pick out all the things you want to have such as centerpieces, linens, food etc. Everything else is done through email so it is very convenient to contact them and get what you want. The only thing I would say is that it is kinda pricey (at least I thought so). But they definitely go above and beyond with everything so it's worth every penny. Just make sure you don't end up changing the wedding date like I did because only 20% of your deposit will transfer. Overall I had a fantastic reception, it was beautiful, better than I imagined, nothing went wrong, and I highly recommend this venue to brides everywhere! read more

I really loved my experience with Castle Park. With my circumstances (my family flew in a week before the wedding from out-of-state) it was the perfect solution for decorating and having a beautiful wedding venue. The complete package is a very good deal and comes with fantastic basics. Table linens, centerpieces, food, a backdrop and complete use of the in house sound and microphone. Really it worked out great for me and I was thrilled with the look of the lower ballroom alone! There was plenty of room for people to mingle and talk to each other and it felt like a old princess-like ballroom. If your looking for something that will create the atmosphere for a lovely wedding reception, this is a great option. Also, you can pay for additional services, which also looked beautiful and elegant. Naiara and I got married at Castle Park on May 29th, 2015. From the very first meeting with Amy touring the place to the sparklers leaving the event, Castle Park was TOP NOTCH! Amy is a pleasure to work with with plenty of meetings up before your wedding to get down all the details. If you need any further changes she is just a call or email away. The space itself is gorgeous. We held ours upstairs. The staff had it set up just the way we wanted. Plenty of parking, great area for kids to take a break from wedding festivities, and beautiful grounds. We could not have chosen a better area. If we were not Mormon and had not gotten married in the SLC temple, we would of held our temple ceremony here as well! If you are in Utah County or even in the Utah, you definitely need to check out this place. Pricing is reasonable as well. I am so happy that I chose Castle Park for my venue. When I was looking at other venues they looked boring or had too much going on. With Castle Park the venue had the fresh look I wanted, and it worked well with the theme of my wedding. I also loved how helpful Amy was. She was a huge help and made it way less stressful for me. I also loved how flexible they were. I used my own catering and their catering and it worked out perfectly. It's totally different from everywhere else. Castle Park lets you pick and choose decorations, food, tablecloths, everything. Overall they were great to work with and they had one of the best prices out of all the venues I looked at. Castle Park was amazing. You definitely get what you pay for with this venue. We were gifted a wedding cake from a friend and was able to apply a credit towards a light and drapes package. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I about died when I saw how beautiful everything turned out to be. I couldn't have imagined my special day being any better. My only complaint was the price of the day-of coordinator (as they require you to have someone assigned to do this, or to hire one). As a first-time bride that hasn't had a lot of wedding experiences with friends or family, I was super nervous going into my wedding without being able to hire one from the venue. Our experience at castle park was by far AMAZING!!! First off, they were so easy to work with throughout the planning process, and had everything we needed. Our reception went spectacular at castle park. The location was easy to find for our guests, and the room we chose was already so beautiful, due to the tiling, pillars, lighting etc. that we really didn't need any extra décor besides center pieces to make the room look even more beautiful and romantic. It was so easy. The sound system was great as well. There wasn't anything I thought could have been better at castle park. We used Castle Park Events Center for our daughter's wedding reception, and had a wonderful experience. We were very impressed with their service and with the venue on the evening of the event. Amy gave great service when we met with her to plan the reception. She was knowledgeable and gave us good ideas as we planned the look of the event. We used the lower ballroom and it looked fantastic! We decided to have their staff decorate for us, and we were SO glad that we did. Everything looked professional and was ready on time for us. They also let us come a month early to take bridal/groomal photos around the property, which was much appreciated. I had my wedding reception in the lower ballroom and it turned out beautifully! They included some helpful planning meetings so we knew exactly what to expect. Castle Park provides a very classy and beautiful atmosphere. They provided linens, tables, chairs, and table centers, as well as a beautiful backdrop, a great sound system and big screen TV. They also have a beautiful grand piano in the lower ballroom too. Our family members thanked us again and again for choosing a reception hall instead of having a back yard reception. It took a lot of stress off of all of us. My one caveat about the lower ballroom is that there is no kitchen downstairs. We provided our own food and had to use the kitchen upstairs and share it with whoever was using the upper ballroom. read more

We ordered her cake and flowers through Castle park along with catering for the reception. The setting is amazing and her pictures are beautiful. For what we paid and received, it was well worth the money. We had a spectacular evening and our I daughter said her dream wedding happened at Castle park. We received so many compliments for the magical evening. We were able to hire Amy and her team to help in every step of the way which made my job, mother of the bride easy as I live in CA. We had such a beautiful reception using Castle Park's ballroom. Planning the night was effortless as the wedding planner, Shay, was easy to work with, very knowledgeable and professional. We didn't have to lift a finger which takes such a load off a potentially stressful night. But Castle Park made it stress free! Castle Park made everything so easy! It was completely affordable even with the extra decoration package we added and the couple of serving items we rented. It was so simple and painless to sit down with the wedding planner and plan out the floor plan, table runners, centerpieces and other decorations we added. The venue is beautiful, but what makes it so special is the staff who took care of every small detail. They make the whole event, from the start something special and so much easier to deal with. Castle Park was the best choice that my husband and I could have made in a venue. We could not have been more thrilled with how we were treated by the staff. My wedding was just a couple of weeks ago, and even now we are still getting emails from them about how the day was and how things are going now. We were expecting rain on our day, so the staff offered us replacement rooms if it started raining before our ceremony. We were scheduled to use the castle. Luckily it didn't start raining until just after the ceremony. But they were so gracious to offer to set up the lower ballroom if need be.
