Most recently, Jesus and his team removed a large dead tree trunk for me (by the root). It was one hell of a job -- the tree wouldn't budge. So, Jesus and his team worked harder. They stayed into evening, working with a light. They wouldn't rest until they got it done. When they finally did, they made sure to clean up everything (in the dark). It was super impressive. See photos of tree, before and after. Very friendly, professional, communicative, thorough, detail-oriented, and extremely hard-working. Oh and the prices are reasonable. What more could you ask for?

It took the office 4 attempts before they got the quote completed. Final quote was still done…read morewrong, but it wasn't until the job was almost done that they brought it up. They did a great job with my sod installment but a terrible one with my irrigation repairs. Took them three weeks to finally come out and at least attempt the irrigation repairs, after failing to come out on previously scheduled time slots. Using said bad quote they wormed their way out of finishing the installation repairs. Upon inspecting their halfway completed work, it seems that while he was trying to repair the line, he damaged the main water line with one of his cutting tools. What was a fairly minor leak, now became a main line fix. This of course would require even more work and they wanted to quote me for more money. I fired them right away and decided to bring in one of their competitors. Buyer beware of this company if you plan to do any irrigation work with them. Only reason they get two stars is because the sod installation was well done. Update: See below owners response. This is what you will get if you deal with these guys.. gaslighting. They made all the mistakes, from the bad quotes to the accidental line cut. They damaged my line, not a root. Instead of fixing his mistake, they wanted to charge me. As you can see, roots are not as bad of a problem as they claimed. Like I said earlier, buyer beware. If the owner is doing this, best believe it's the culture at this company. Nik and his team went above and beyond and then more to help me out. He even planted my flower seeds for me in each bed and then watered. All passion vines cleared and he had them do additional weeding and cleaning up leaves. I would never trade the entire team for anything. They are the absolute best. We hired Malaga, owner of Arlo Tree Service and Landscaping, and we could not be happier with the experience. His quote was competitive and very fair, and his communication was prompt, clear, professional, and friendly from beginning to end. Malaga and his team raised the crown and opened the canopy beautifully. The tree looks healthier, the front of the house feels brighter and more open, and the pesky Bermuda under the tree will now grow better. They also left the yard completely clean, blew the driveway and front portico, and hauled away every bit of debris. Malaga cane out on a Sunday and sent a link to a written estimate the same day. Once we agreed to the estimate, we were able to get the work done in a matter of days. Although we didn't get any competing estimates, we felt the quote to be reasonable. Malaga takes pride in his work, and did a really nice job shaping our bushes and trees, and thinning out the live oaks. The transformation of our yard was so nice. I highly recommend Malaga for this type of work. He also does other types of work in the garden, like mulching.

After receiving some ridiculous quotes from some of the "bigger" artificial turf companies, offering a lower grade of turf for a substantially higher price, I went forward with the project with Umesh and KG Lawn Care. Umesh took on my project of installing approximately 1000 sqft of artificial turf, metal edging, and black star gravel around some cypress trees. Roughly a month before starting, I expressed to Umesh my desire to have the project completed in time for our family's annual crawfish boil, which he assured me he would fulfill. I can't say enough positive things about Umesh, Lucas, and their crew. As we neared the date of my family's party, Umesh assured me that he would push to make the deadline, even with unpredictable central Texas weather. Umesh not only kept to his promise in finishing the project in time for our party, but also knocked it out of the park! The artificial turf looks incredible and instantly became my daughter's favorite place to play. Umesh and his crew put a level of detail into the project in ensuring every aspect was perfect for my family. As pleased as I am with the project itself, the most noteworthy aspect I want to highlight in this review is how Umesh does business. In a world where so many are looking to cut corners, charge more, and provide less, I found that Umesh is a man of immense integrity who keeps to his word. Umesh delivered on his promise to ensure my yard was immaculate for my family's party, but most notably, his promise on pricing. A day before our turf was set to be installed, Umesh was notified by the turf company that the turf we picked out was no longer available (with zero warning). Umesh was forced to upgrade the turf at a difference of nearly $800. I offered to split the difference with Umesh but was told: "Nah man, it's all good. I like to keep my word and pricing. It's not your fault." This really struck me that Umesh was willing to eat $800 in order to keep his word with me on pricing. KG Lawn Care exceeded my expectations and truly helped me complete my dream back yard - The quality of work and character of Umesh will have me recommending him and his company to all my family and friends!

I asked for the rose bushes to be trimmed on occasion and to fill in bare spots in the back yard with mulch which he quoted at $30 extra. Fair enough to me. The first few days of work went well, but after that scheduling and communication became spotty from them, they had to redo some parts that were not well planned out, and ultimately parts of the work never got completed before they moved on to bigger jobs (but they had been paid).

I felt it was important I updated my review as a lot has happened to the deck in the 3 years since…read morethey put it in. Though the deck looked good initially in just 3 years it is rotting away and we just now realized to what extent. It got in such a bad state we decided to have someone redo the whole deck. When they took off the top boards the frame itself had half rotted away (including the whole frame for the steps) and we realized it could have caved under us at any time. In the attached picture you will see the current state of the frame. Half of it has rotted away. We initially used them because they were the best price and they did work fast and were flexible to our requests. However, the tradeoff seems to be they used poor material. It was either not pressure treated or leftover material they got from a building being constructed that isn't meant to be used for a deck. I can't confirm but regardless proper material shouldn't rot like this in just 3 years. I write this to warn you to make sure they are not skimping on the materials as this can become a safety hazard.

It was a challenge to find a one stop shop, but Roberto's team stepped up to that challenge and did a great job. The scope of the Project: 1) increase our patio deck stairs' landing area by 35% making it safer for those exiting and entering our rear patio. 2) demolition of the existing cedar deck materials to be replaced by Trex composite requiring little to no maintenance moving forward 3) frame out the new patio landing and stairs, adding 2 additional stairs to make the overall patio stairs solution safer 4) remove and redirect our gutter downspout so that it was not in the way of the newly installed patio stairs 5) modify the steel railing on the old stairs to accommodate the larger footprint of the new landing and additional stairs They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, so I'll let the following "before" and "after" pictures speak for themselves

I was surprised that he responded so quickly as this is a small job and these guys are totally overbooked. He provided a very reasonable estimate and I also had him provide an estimate for crushed stone walkways on each side of my house as there are sections that will not grow grass.
