We ended up having to re-roof the patio they built after less than 3 months because of the wrong pitch angle and constant leaks (we had another contractor come fix the errors) and have someone help us realign a lot of the walk way/landscaping that was haphazardly laid down. The first few days of work went well, but after that scheduling and communication became spotty from them, they had to redo some parts that were not well planned out, and ultimately parts of the work never got completed before they moved on to bigger jobs (but they had been paid). read more

Luciano's Landscape built a new stone border for our flower bed and removed some dead trees for us. The border looks great, and the designer suggested the addition of a flagstone walkway to our sidewalk that we think is a great addition. The tree removal went smoothly as well. UPDATE: Welp, I am sorry to say this please has gone way down. I would give it 2 stars but after a lot of calls I got more service. 1) My first experience was perfections with laying sod. So I called and saved and waited for Luis and his crew to trim my trees and get my front yard in ship shape. 2) My second experience is 2 stars. The two (only two) guys he sent over to do my trees did not move anything, broke stuff, didn't speak English and were very slow and impossible to communicate. He did not have an English speaker there. BAD. My front yard looks, worse, it is now full of weeds, bald spots and yellow. My screws in my gates are missing, a piece of my gutter came down. And Luis has been not responsive for the past 3 weeks. They laid some dirt down and missed spots. I mean between the impossible communication with Luis, his refusal to call to reschedule or to update the invoice I have to say hire him with caution. I definitely do not feel like I am appreciated as a client and they are doing a half ass job. The second crew he sent did my trees perfectly. Otherwise he would have zero stars. He was also quite a bit more than most of my bids. I thought I was paying more for the best, but I got 2 stars of service after hours of wasting my time. Get it together people. You have to be responsive and attentive and fix your mistakes. You have to call and schedule and send an invoice that actually says what you have agreed to do. None of this is happening. read more

I can't recommend Luciano's any higher. They have done an amazing job with my yard! We needed a complete overhaul of the backyard and the team has been incredible! They have put in a brand new beautiful lawn, and have completed weeded out and redone all of our mulch. The attention to detail really stands out. They really have taken their time to make sure things are done correctly! Luis has been a joy to deal with. He is polite and very straightforward. We hired Luciano's to install some gravel beds, stone steps, a large planter, and some outdoor lighting. Like some others have suggested, there were a few minor communication hiccups at first. I get the impression that they take on more customers and estimate requests than they can actually respond to within their current operation. However, Luis, the owner, is attentive and very easy to deal with once you can get in touch with him directly (especially given that some other landscapers we reached out to didn't even bother returning our request for a quote). After we finally got the estimate approved and a deposit locked in, they were quick to get us on schedule and equally, impressively fast at turning it all around, and the finished job looks great! When a sudden rainstorm exposed some problem areas, they even came back out for some further tweaking, and got us all fixed up by the very next day. They're definitely not the cheapest service around, but they do quality work and they stick with it until it's finished, which counts for a lot these days. read more

I was asked inappropriate questions about what vehicles were in the garage and was told if I was unwilling to pay to have lawn and tree service I should sell the home. We hired Luciano's to build a paved pathway from the front of the garage to the back of the house, install drains for the gutters, clean out two planters and install weed barrier, create flower beds on the side of the pathway, install weed barrier and put mulch on the flower beds, plant some trees to hide utility area and lay river rock. After we agreed on the quote and deposit locked in, Luis got us on schedule, but although there was delay on the start date, the guys continuously worked little more than a week to complete the project. They did good quality work and the pricing is definitely reasonable. read more

My Mother wanted to get her fence redone. She asked around to a few of the neighbors to inquire what company they had recently used and how much they charged. She was not satisfied with those companies. She found Luciano's Landscape on the BBB website. They checked off all of her boxes and even let her pay in installments. The workers that performed the jobs were very professional and very friendly. A few weeks later, she called the phone # on the business card the owner gave her and it was his direct line. Both services that the company provided left my mother extremely happy. She plans on using them for the future and recommending them to everyone. read more

Initially they were responsive. On May 6th this company supposedly had an estimator come out to my house, though it must not have been during the specified time frame as no one ever showed up when I was there. I did not hear back from them so I emailed and they informed me that someone did come out but that due to it being their busy season it would take 1-2 weeks to get my estimate. Well it is now June and I have not heard anything from them in regards to my estimate. I have emailed them two more times and I have not gotten any response. Due to their lack of customer service I would not recommend using this company. Apparently they have too much business so mine does not matter. read more

Luis was super responsive to my request for an estimate and even walked my property with me on the same day that I requested the quote. After countless back and forth texts (happy to share screenshots if anyone wants them although I'm not sure how to do that on this platform) and three versions of an estimate, we finally secured Luciano's to do a simple mow and yard maintenance on ~1 acre where we will be moving to in ~30 days but that needed care. The plan was that they'd care for the yard 2x a month even though they kept pushing to contract for every week. We went out to visit the house a day after they said they'd mowed the yard and could see that they only mowed the front yard and didn't do any edging or cleanup or weeds. After we asked about this and chased them in text again, even including pictures, they apologized and promised to send someone out right away. We went out the day after they said the work was completed a second time to check - what we found was that they did mow the back this time but again did no edging, weeding, or maint at all. We reached out and again showed them pictures of the yard and areas where weeds were now over 1' high in flowerbeds and our sidewalks and near trees - and it was at this time when we challenged the extra $180 "initial fee" for a $256 monthly invoice. They argued they didn't charge that until we showed them that they had . That's when they once again apologized and said they'd send their guys out again. At that point, we just told them to keep the money paid for the mowing so that their guys would be paid but to give us the $180 refund for the ridiculous "initial fee." They offered to come back out and give us a discount to make it right, yet again. When we refused and insisted that we just want the "initial fee" refunded and not have their team return, they stopped responding to any texts or requests for an update. Our last text from them was April 14 at 7:51pm CST and they still don't respond - so here we unfortunately posting an unfavorable review. read more

We did phase II! They dug out the high part of the yard against the sunroom, used the dirt to level the grade in the back corner, and installed a stunning cobblestone patio and sand pit. As a passionate gardener and moving into a new home with essentially a blank slate to deal with, Luis took out all my Bermudagrass and replaced it with Zoysia. Out of the 7 companies that came out to do a free estimate on the project, Luis was the ONLY person and company that was early/ on time and committed to his word. He is professional, and additionally knowledgable with his plants and garden materials used to enhance and maintain a healthy landscaping aesthetic. Update: in my previous review, I mentioned that the porch was level and not sloped away from the house. As a result some water would get into the screened in porch. The owner got in touch with me and provided different options to fix this problem. We decided on putting in a mini trench drain in the area where the most water came in. Well, it finally rained today and happy to report, no water got in my screened in porch! I also appreciate the attn to detail; the color of the trench drain (gray) matched my porch. Very happy with the fix and appreciate the owner's willing to address the issue. read more

Owner took my money- said he was going through hard times. This was a $25K mistake. I never received a signed contract....(my mistake because my daughter was marrying in a week....and was in a hurry). My yard was not finished....my front door almost flooded from his irrigation work. His rock work was half done, no mulch, no edging completed, no irrigation put on newly planted plants -- so many died. Project half done...some things not even planted. It was a nightmare experience. I was given no professional drawing of my landscape, I was not given a list of plants itemized or how much they would be, prior to them arriving and being planted without my okay, etc. The plants just arrived one day, and I had no idea how many and of what was coming off the truck. Completely sloppy job with no supervision. He had one experienced worker with a helper....He came back wanting more money to finish job or he'd leave me high and dry which he did. BEWARE.
