I felt it was important I updated my review as a lot has happened to the deck in the 3 years since they put it in. Though the deck looked good initially in just 3 years it is rotting away and we just now realized to what extent. It got in such a bad state we decided to have someone redo the whole deck. When they took off the top boards the frame itself had half rotted away (including the whole frame for the steps) and we realized it could have caved under us at any time. In the attached picture you will see the current state of the frame. Half of it has rotted away. We initially used them because they were the best price and they did work fast and were flexible to our requests. However, the tradeoff seems to be they used poor material. It was either not pressure treated or leftover material they got from a building being constructed that isn't meant to be used for a deck. I can't confirm but regardless proper material shouldn't rot like this in just 3 years. I write this to warn you to make sure they are not skimping on the materials as this can become a safety hazard. read more

Highly recommend this company. They went above and beyond what was expected. I requested a quote to add a walkway from the sidewalk to the front of the house and possibly re-sod the front yard. Isaias arrived right on time. He gave us a very reasonable quote right on the spot. He even offered to beautify the front of the house by redoing the concrete edging all around the flower bed. Isaias and his team did a great job on the landscaping for our front & backyard. The difference is night and day! Before, we didn't really know what to do with our yard, and also didn't really have the time or energy to maintain it to its full potential. We knew it needed work, and had a vision of the "dream" yard, and Isaias helped us achieve it. The crew helped mulch the trees around the front yard and all along the backyard. Additionally, they helped re-locate some stones/rocks from a pile in the backyard and redo the metal edging with the stones inside, with hollies. One of the biggest items completed in the backyard was mulching and planting of 3 ft hollies along the entire fenceline, which would grow to become a privacy screen. Cleanup of general shrubs/trees were also completed in the backyard. In the front yard, four Italian cypress trees were planted (with mulch) on each side of the driveway, and additional hollies were planted on each side of the house by the fence. This really helped elevate the curbside appeal and general look of the house. We felt the team did a fantastic job and they worked from morning to evening! Isaias was really responsive in getting us an initial quote for installing custom concrete pavers in our backyard. He was helpful with our consultation and recommended how far apart the pavers should be set and how many pavers we should be able to fit in our backyard. With that information, I was able to draw a plan for how I wanted the pavers to be laid out. His team made that plan a reality in just 3 days, and I'm really pleased with how my yard turned out. I'm really happy to share my experience with Isaias and his team at IMG Landscaping. I needed to replace the Bermuda grass in my front yard because it was not getting enough sunlight due to the trees. Zeon Zoysia grass was a better option since it grows well with less sun, and Isaias did a fantastic job installing it. What really stood out to me was Isaias' attention to detail. He didn't just stick to the basics; he looked at the whole yard and made thoughtful improvements along the way. He noticed one area had too much soil and took care of it. He also found a leak in the sprinkler tubing and made sure it was fixed properly. They also addressed some poorly designed sprinkler plumbing and took care of the entire issue. Where do I start. FANTASTIC job, AMAZING crew, BEAUTIFUL family camaraderie. I cannot thank Isaias and his crew ENOUGH for all they have done for us. Isaias didn't have an easy task. My yard was completely torn apart because we just had a pool built. Lawn was destroyed, construction debris everywhere, front lawn also in shambles. However, he assured my husband and I that they would take care of it and we shouldn't worry about it. He told us they love what they do and take care of every detail. He even suggested we added a river rock flowerbed around the pool, so that the grass clippings wouldn't go into the pool. Game changer. So glad we listened to him. And, indeed, they did an incredible job. I'll be honest, my backyard was SO BAD I thought after all the repairs it would look decent, but boy oh boy I was wrong. It looks ten times better than before. They took care of our drainage issue and made sure the lawn had an inclination so the water would run its course and not collect in one area (this was a big issue for us even before the pool). Now, after a few heavy rains (and a scary tornado) I can confirm there are no drainage issues. I'm so happy. The flowerbed turned out beautiful, because they took the shape of my pool into consideration and added a few nice curves to the edge of the flowerbed. Very nice touch. These people will NOT go after you money. They don't nitpick about every cent, every modification to the design, etc. Their main focus is costumer satisfaction. They added a few things that weren't on the contract just because Isaias felt it would make us happy. They even took care of our fence repair after the pool builder removed it and refused to put it back up, and Isaias added a door!! What! Amazing. On top of that, they also included a concrete pathway, completely custom, from my patio to the pool desk. I'm telling you, I have no words. Most importantly, I want to thank every single one of them for all the respect and care they showed to us. Isaias and his brothers are good people, very good people, not only because how well they do their job, but how they portrait themselves as human beings. Isaias, you know what I mean, thank you for everything. You have earned a customer for life. ...And I almost forgot!! My pool builder did something that made us really upset while Isaias crew was working on our project. Isaias noticed and decided to add a few things that would bright up our day. IGM did a fantastic job on our project. They laid sod and concrete pavers, built a wooden deck and large limestone planter, and planted several trees and plants. I hired them for regular bi-weekly lawn maintenance. Initially I was satisfied with their work and price, but they've been extremely unreliable. They have been unresponsive for weeks at a time, won't show up when they said they would and don't even bother contacting me. They also shredded a drain cover with their mower last time they were here, said they'd come the next day to fix it but didn't. I wanted to use this service for regular mowing but unfortunately it was very difficult to communicate with Isaias. He came, gave me a quote but then sent his crew who arrived without a bag for clippings which I had expressly asked for. (I have weeds which I don't want spreading with just mulching for the first mow of the season). A few weeks ago, I reached out to five or six landscapers to get an estimate for xeriscaping and adding a paver walkway to our L-shaped side and backyard area. Previously, there was bermuda grass filling that entire space (roughly 600 sq feet), but most of it had died due to the shade created by the large pecan trees surrounding that part of our lot and the torrential rains in May of 2021. Anyways, of the landscapers I reached out to, only 2 got back to me, including IMG Landscaping. We received our first bid from another place which seemed insanely high for the work we were asking done... plus they couldn't get started for at least 3 weeks. We had Isaias (IMG's owner) come out after that first bid and long story short -- we hired him immediately. Not only was his estimate about A QUARTER of what the first place was going to charge, but he was also going to use better materials (actual concrete pavers and crushed limestone) AND they could get started on the work that very afternoon. Two days later, (that's right, they started Sunday afternoon and were done by Tuesday at 3pm) our side and back yard were completely transformed. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, but we couldn't be happier with the work they did. To top it off, Isaias and his crew were absolutely wonderful human beings -- very communicative, punctual and polite. Cannot say enough about Isaias and his team. Their work was phenomenal and he transformed my back yard and also did some work on my side near a carport area. They removed old sod/dirt, laid an inch of fresh topsoil, replaced with new sod, did some metal edging work, stonework and built a gravel walkway off my patio. All the work was completed in 2 days. His brother and another worker do most of the daily work and Isaias comes by the job and monitors and makes sure the direction they are going is the direction agreed upon and that everything is ok with the client. Be patient- he's busy and that's a good thing as you know he is in demand. Isaias came out and gave me a quote within 3 days. Took about 3 weeks to start the job. Paid half in advance so they could order the sod and materials and 1/2 upon completion as agreed. Great experience and I've already recommended him to two friends. I am beyond happy with the job that Isaias and his team did on our backyard remodel. We gathered several quotes in January, and while Isaias' wasn't the cheapest, his pricing was extremely fair. More importantly, he seemed genuine, trustworthy, and showed actual interest in our personal preferences for the project. He showed up some previous projects and even threw in some ideas that could keep our costs down while accomplishing our goals for the yard. Isaias made sure everyone on his team knew exactly what they were doing and what needed to be done to make us happy. He showed up on site several times each day to check on the progress and make sure everything was going well. Overall, his team worked nonstop for 3.5 straight days bringing our vision to life. Our yard was a patchy (mostly dead) yard of grass. His team ripped up the lawn, laid down custom concrete pavers, laid down the gravel and even landscaped some plants. The biggest feat was the fact that our backyard is only accessible by walking through a narrow side passage. Because of this, his team had to HAND CARRY 2 truckloads of gravel, bucket by bucket. Even in the heat, they never complained once and were very friendly with us the entire time. Overall, I think I absolutely made the right choice by going with Isaias just by how the final product turned out. Isaias disappeared. Isaias originally promised that he would be onsite the entire time. The first day, Isaias left after a half hour saying that he had to finish another job. His men mistakenly removed previous stonework and leveling work. We had to take time off from our own work to supervise his crew. The second day, Isaias didn't show up. Then one of the two guys left, leaving one guy, unsupervised. We were given two different stories. As a result: 1) We are missing time from work. 2) Our yard is torn apart. 3) We are rototilling ourselves because the sod arrives tomorrow. 4) We had to delay another contractor. We terminated the job. So disappointing. Response to owner: 1. When Isaias quoted the job, he said that he and another person would do the work. He said that he didn't like it when workers play on the phone. 2. Isaias' crew removed the grass in our back yard and in part of our front yard. It is now just dirt. We have to find someone to plant it. Photos are attached. 3. When Isaias didn't arrive today, we were first told that his father-in-law was in the hospital. Then we were told that he was at a lawyer's office. So don't accuse us of lying. Update: This business will just NOT take responsibility. We seem to be communicating with Isaias' wife Lizbet. If so, she doesn't dispute that her business went unsupervised, undid existing work, and told us multiple stories about Isaias' whereabouts - but wants to argue about who removed the grass. Messages are attached. Our best guess is that this business neglected our job for one of its "big" jobs referenced in its response and was hoping not to be called on it. read more

Isaias was the first person to reply when I was doing bids on adding sod to my backyard. Initial bid: remove dirt/grass, trim trees, add gravel to parts of yard. He wasn't the cheapest bid, but he was the only one I didn't have to chase down to get a quote and that's where he won my business. Nearly three weeks after we met (again, I was chasing down others for bids), I told him I wanted to upgrade the grass to Zoysia and add irrigation trenches- no issues. I set up the irrigation myself to keep the price down but they did the digging. He was ready to get going right away. His pricing was incredibly reasonable and they removed so much unwanted vegetation that it feels like he over delivered, which we love to see! The one constructive criticism is to go over the timeline. We didn't talk about how long the process would take so it took four days when I thought it would take one. That was based on assumption by me and never explicitly discussed between us so that's one area I think could improve. Isaias and his crew were great to work with and they did an incredible job of reviving my backyard. I was very impressed with their attention to the irrigation even though it technically wasn't part of the bid. They were mindful about the landscaping already installed. I did need Google Translate to work with his guys when Isaias wasn't around but I got to practice my Spanish, haha.
