Stay away. The long haired , sleazy looking manager tried to inflate a small touch up paint job to a $17,000 project. He claimed all sorts of nonsense. Fortunately I'm not easily fooled, I'm a car guy and I know what things cost. In the end, I purchased $15 dollars of paint and did the repair myself . This company has had my 2024 Trailblazer since early September. The contract that THEY gave me has a promise date for completion listed as September 11th at 5:00 pm. As of this date November 26th. I still do not have my car back. I have gone through GM customer service and them with getting absolutely nowhere. I highly recommend that everyone think twice about purchasing a vehicle from Mike Castrucci Chevrolet. I put 10k down on this car and I have made every payment on time. Which is also financed through GM. Call me unreasonable, but, I feel as though they are in breach of their own contract. I have had no car to drive during the entire 3, yes I said 3 months. I will never buy another GM product. This type of customer service is exactly why people buy foreign cars. If GM wants America to buy American. Then prove to us. You people at GM and Castrucci suck! UPDATE NOVEMBER 29, 2024 First off I call to get an update on my car. I was told that the manager called but was unsuccessful in reaching me but yes my car is ready. LIE! I checked my call log on my phone no call from them and I looked back to the previous week. Anyway I didn't feel like arguing with them about it because I was on my way to our Thanksgiving celebration with my in-laws. I was supposed to cook due to my 81 year old mother in law was ill. So I just go to pick up my car. After picking up the car I drive approximately 4 miles and I started getting all of these warning lights saying engine failure and car overheating. I immediately pull over shut down my car. And call. The manager suggested that I drive my car back to them so they can look at it. Well I'm not that stupid so I tell the guy once again that the car is overheating but sure I will go ahead and drive the car back to them. He must suddenly had a brain charge and uhhh no I will call a tow truck. To make a long story short, they failed to put a part on the car during the repair. They did fill my gas tank up however, I suppose that's my compensation. I wish you could give negative stars for the review. BTW MY sick 81 year old MIL started the cooking. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! Took vehicle to Mike Castrucci Ford on 28 to have vehicle looked at for repairs and they were rude and rushed me out the door! Never explained process or anything! Took to Rivers Edge and they were cool at first and explained process. Called to see where the process was and when I could bring the vehicle in for repairs. Blair on phone was completely RUDE and told me she didn't believe that Ford was Rude to me and they were NOT going to work on our vehicle and hung up!! Completely unprofessional!!! My truck was at River's Edge for repair from a rear end collision. They always seem to have excuses on why things are not done properly. It took a week for them to get the repairs approved through insurance. At first I was told the insurance was being difficult. Later I was told by the shop supervisor that their estimator did not submit good photos to get the repairs approved. Then when I picked up my truck I found that the spray in liner had not been done on the new tailgate, the inside of the tailgate was not even fully painted, and the proper hinge bushings were not installed. Again I was given multiple excuses on why this wasn't done properly the first time (GM didn't send the bushings, paint wasn't completed because they were expecting the spray in liner to be installed...). I am now asking my insurance for a refund of my deductible because of all the hassle. read more

Talked to a guy on the phone and *confirmed* that it would not be a problem to bring my van into the shop. Van has a high-top on it, and thus might not fit in a normal paint booth. I was very explicit that it was a 10' tall van. They assured me it would be no problem, and that they have ways of accommodating tall vehicles using heat lamp setups if they don't fit in a booth. So, I drove 30 miles across town for an estimate. Estimator took some notes, explained all what was going to be done, went back inside to write it up, then came right back out and told me they couldn't help me because "my boss doesn't want your camper in here". I obtained an estimate for repair of my front bumper due to damage from high parking curb. Sunday evening of the following weekend I dropped off my car after scheduling work for Monday and Tuesday with pickup planned for Tuesday evening. On Tuesday I received a call telling me that the estimate did not include all parts needed, the front grill and lower bumper cover. Both outside parts on the front of the car! Now I am told that Rivers Edge Collision Center cannot tell me when my car will be ready. read more

If you want to be screwed over, lied to, have half ass work done. Castratemes Rivers Edge is the place to go. I set up an appointment to have a minor dent repaired in my rear right quarter panel pulled out, just a push in. However the paint was cracked around the brake light. I had my 10/21/19 appt. set up 3 weeks in advance.I stopped to check on it Tuesday the 10/22/19 it was sitting in the back with nothing done. I explained to them this was my work van and I was out of business with my van there. Got a call that evening it was done. WTF, HOW? So I go 10/23/19 to pick it up the small paint crack was painted, but the big dent was not repaired. I was not happy. So I was told that she would put a rush on this, here it is 10/25/19 and no truck, and the sorry POS company is closed on Saturdays. Now I have two more days before I can find out if it is even repaired. What a colossal what a screwed up half ass way to do work for some one. AVOID AT ALL COSTS The folks at this auto body shop are ethically challenged. I recommend you take your vehicle anywhere else. Brief synopsis. I picked up my auto, after the folks at Rivers Edge Collision had the auto for over 4 weeks. The damage to my auto was repaired. However, my auto was returned to me without functioning brakes. This is a problem as brakes are required to stop the auto, when driving..not sure if the auto body shop was aware of this...since they gave me the vehicle with non-functioning brakes due to a debilitating amount of rust. After I signed for repairs, the estimator (whom I had no fewer than a dozen conversations during the tenure my vehicle was in shop) followed me outside and informed me that I needed new brakes, brake pads, & rotors on all 4 wheels due to severe "rust" & "pitted". I immediately objected informing the Estimator, Brian Worley, that my brakes were in operational order when I brought my car into auto body shop. I then departed Milford Riverside Collision, informing Estimator Brian Worley that I would be I'm contact. I then drove a few miles down the road to a fuel station and called the auto shop to inform them that my vehicle was not road worthy due to the brakes not functioning. Brian Worley replied "You said you were in the Military, were you deployed and left this car sitting for a long time". I replied to Worley, stating that no I had not been deployed, but my car has been sitting at his shop for 30 days, otherwise the car is an everyday driver for me. I then informed Worley that I would be bringing my auto back to the shop. Worley then replied "Your insurance will not cover it & I won't give you back your rental car"...I informed Worley this was unacceptable...Worley stated the shop was closed and if i needed further assistance I would have to wait until Monday. I followed up on Monday. I spoke with auto body manager, Ron Burke. He vehemently denied that the rust on all 4 of my brakes were caused by his shop. He wanted to provide me every excuse other than addressing the questions I was asking him. Burke stated rather, that I brought my auto into his shop with rusted & pitted brakes and rotors. Burke claimed no new vehicle he has on the lot has this rust problem I am alleging. So I explained the simple physics to him, as it appears my car sat outdoors for a lengthy period of time in the freeze/thaw cycle in the first 2 weeks of March...coupled with the rain & snow...the vehicle appears to have been moved indoors on 15 March...thus creating a major condensation issue as the warmer air touches the colder (already rusty) components of my brakes...then allowing the vehicle to sit inside for 2 more weeks...as a result exacerbating the rust & pitting issue of my brakes. Burke denied that any of that freeze/thaw, wet brakes remaining unmoved for 4 weeks, and/or the condensation caused any damage to my brakes. On top of all that. I informed Burke that my tires were not aligned. Burke replied we did you a favor and aligned your tires & didn't charge Allstate. I informed Burke once again that my tires were not aligned. He printed out a report of alignment on my vehicle and the report states front tires aligned, rear tires NOT aligned. Burke stated that it was not their responsibility to align my rear tires. I disagreed, advising Burke that if a vehicle is involved with a front impact collision...the impact from that accident most certainly can knock the tires/steering/suspension out of alignment.
