I will be using Caswell Auto Body every time I need car work! I'm always a little scared that I'll be getting ripped off at a body shop because I don't really know what I'm talking about with cars - but not with Justin. He is so friendly and professional and seriously went the extra mile with my car. Not only did he replace the bumper but he buffed out some marks on the car and fixed my sticky trunk for me. I'm so impressed with the work that I'm tempted to keep the car instead of sell it!! I brought my car right back to Justin for some more work since I was so pleased with the first experience. This was the worst service I have ever received. I was told my repair would require one week in the shop and then be "good as new". After bringing it back multiple times and needing to pay for rental cars each time my car still was not fully repaired. It's not for lack of trying, the workers here are just incapable of doing quality work, or even seeing their mistakes. I took my car to the dealership after and it was actually good as new 2 days later. If you care about your car at all and want the job done properly don't bring it to Caswells! read more

After getting 2 other outrageous estimates from auto body shops that were rated highly, I went to Caswell's. They had done work on my previous car and I was very happy with them. I was even happier after they gave me an estimate of $500 for the minor repair to my new car. John, the owner, is honest and does great work. I work at an RV dealership. John Caswell called me and wanted me to find three body parts for him. I called the manufacturer and found that 1 of the parts were no longer available and the other 2 would have to be made and would take some time. I relayed this information to John and he said he wanted the 2 parts ordered and asked if I would continue to look for the last part (fender). We had him pay for the parts in advance (because they are special order and "made per order") and even gave him a discount. About 2 weeks later, John called me saying it has been too long and he wants his money back. I called the manufacturer and they gave me a more definitive ETA on the parts production. I relayed that to John and gave him another lead on where he may get the third part made. John was OK then. John called again at the 3 week point demanding his money back and was mad because he couldn't find a fender. John said the other 2 parts are no good unless he had the fender. I AGAIN called the manufacturer and they said the parts are already in the process of being made and the order could not be cancelled. I called John to let him know this and he started cussing me and telling me to be a man and cancel the order. Calling me a B$@! and telling me we were all pieces of S#!@. I just listened. When he was done with his first tirate, he asked if I was going to say anything. i told him I wanted to let him get it all out. He again called me a Bi$# and told me to be a man. Then he said he would just reverse the charges and hung up. On Monday, we heard from our accounting department that John had reversed the charges and how would we like to proceed. Now, we did all the research, ordered the parts, acted as the go-between so john could make money on an insurance job. Now that he has cancelled the transaction, I take a hit in my pay, this department takes a hit and this company takes a hit. To sum it all up, John Caswell seems to have very little integrity and if you do business with him, keep that in mind. read more

We've been to Caswell a few times for different vehicles. They are very easy to talk to, and will give you a detailed estimate on the spot. Then you set up an appointment for the repair, and they tell you how long it takes. And that's it. No muss, no fuss. The work has always been finished when promised, with no extra $$$ needed. Over all - job, customer service, staff, technician, and owner: VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and NAUSEATING!!! My car was parked in an Auto Repair Shop not far from their shop. Caswell's Body repair staff estimated the cost of repair for my custom 2007 VW Rabbit without my presence; and then, drove my car to their shop and proceeded with the work without my authorization. According to the owner, I brought an Audi for body repair. I went to Caswell's shop to verify the job details of the estimated cost. I asked why the fog lamp was not installed. According to the office manager there's no place to re-install it. He showed me the catalog of VW Rabbit 4-dr without fog lamp. I showed him my car is a 2-dr with fog lamp. He asked me to come back the next day to pick it up. I went back to the shop the next day just to find out the technician was absent because of toothache. He apologized and asked me to come back another day. I went back to their shop on the scheduled day and time; however, the technician was absent again because his car won't start. The absentee habit happened for several times. I even have to take time off from work and found out the technician was out. The office manager smooth talked me by promises that I will be very happy with the end result and will not charge me for the work they've missed to include on the estimate as long as I bought the parts. Eventually, I was able to test drive my car just to find out some parts that they've installed fell off and the side runner lip dangling because the technician has damaged it. I demanded that it's got to be fixed. Yes, they fixed it wrongly and add an unreasonable fee. Their reason for all their mistakes - they said the parts were aftermarket not original parts. The owner who did not seem to understand what's going on with his employees argued loudly with profanity and said they'll won't have enough profit if they will fix the mistakes done. They've forced me to get out of the shop for tre spassing but I refused until my car is fixed. Phoenix Police was notified to escort me off their property; but, explained I'll not leave until my car is fixed. The police asked the owner to fix it and they did a temporary fix. read more

I was in a severe car accident and if shattering a disc in my back wasn't bad enough, it was in my '69 Z28 Camaro. My baby. I was torn to pieces. I really thought I was S.O.L., stuck on a log, especially getting estimates to repair the damages. I'm fortunate to say I happened to call Caswell's. I had never heard of the place. My physical therapist recommended them to me. He had played an Xbox game with the official CaswellAutoBody account, and said by the way they took care of business in call of duty, he could tell they were professionals. He had them do some work on his fender and he loved it. I called them up. I spoke with John who arranged a tow and man let me tell you, everything about this man screams "badass". From the way he walked up and introduced himself, to his very unique lean. He should have someone walk around with him playing guitar solos all day, the gentleman is just that cool. Very down to earth, no bologna sandwiches at this place. My Camaro looked better leaving this shop than it ever has!! Very reasonably priced, and an encyclopedia of knowledge! read more
