The Prius was SO clean and detailed when Bud and Travis returned it to us. Was that our car? But...all the repair was done under the front left bumper, inside the left wheel well and the left rocker panel. I've had a month + to reflect on Select. I lived several years in a mountain community. Every so often somebody from elsewhere brought their brand new jeep or other four wheel drive vehicle to the mountains to play 4x4 commercial and go "stump jumping" with rookie, destructive, high centered results. A curb hid in the darkness. The driver of the low-slung, air-dammed aerodynamic Prius Prime did not see the curb as they made a U-ey in a tight parking lot. The sound and feel of the bottoming-out, denture rattling, impact are left for your imagination. Do not take a Prius stump or curb-jumping. Do not take them off-road, take all driveways at an angle if possible. We have a choice where we get car bodies repaired. A mega-chain body shop, mega dealer body shop, independant small business body shop. We chose Select. The business appearance speaks quality, the OEM parts say trustworthy, the quote says, "Here or a Big Guy? I'll mention all the auto makes Select has on the wall for certified, excellent work. Plus, this family business has some very nice, top level projects waiting under the carport for "that day" when there's time and parts enough to complete dreams. An excellent quote. Some discounts because we paid out of pocket. OEM parts, time taken to do the work correctly. An issue with the rocker panel turned up, the quote was updated, reasonably priced. Necessary, touch up painting was done Gaps were checked with factory gauges., The front seat and master sensor unit recalibrated. A loose light from a previous repair was found and tightened. Just picked up LIL MAN HULK the ride. Yes I named him. He had the wonderful experience of a neighbor backing into my car door (sarcasm). This happened around Christmas. It took forever for her insurance to get back to me accepting fault and fixing my car. Now I need a body shop to fix the hulk. I happen to work in insurance and have a database of body shops to choose from. I'm all about reviews 4.8 on one site, 4.9 on Yelp and great comments. But wait less than 5 minutes from the crib. Winner! 1st person I talk to is a Travis ask questions and advise of neighbors insurance is paying yes they work with them. Called day off rolled up Bud the owner standing outside as I pull up. Just by looking you are going to need a new door. Dropped car off on Monday and he confirmed for separation from door frame new door being ordered. Car will be done next Wednesday. Can we talk about communication it was excellent: TEXT, EMAIL, & PHONE. Every step of the way plus his communication with the insurance company. Courtesy drop off & pickup. I chose loss of use opposed to renting. This is 1st day out of shop but pleased. Car was detailed and they even cleaned the engine. Any issues I'll update but as of right now LILMANHULK IS FLOSSING.. Update. My last review was from two cars ago. Similar to years ago, they still have excellent service, detailed information provided to customers, and quality work on the car. This is the third time I've been here. The last visit was for a door check, on a 2012 car. It was completed in a timely manner, and I was updated. My husband's truck was sideswiped by an industrial serial van. Fortunately, the company took care of the damage. My husband chose Select for the repair because they are certified to repair his make of vehicle, and because of the great reviews. My truck was hit by another vehicle making theirs a total loss and causing about $4500 in damage. State Farm wanted to pay me out $1800. I came to select auto body and the final bill came out to $4500. My insurance was trying to screw me. This shop used OEM parts only and now my truck looks amazing. They also were able to get me help on covering one of my tires through insurance. Overall I really recommend this shop. This is the first time I pick up my vehicle after a collision and it actually looks better than before my accident. This shop fixed things on my vehicle that wasn't part of the accident just out of the kindness of their hearts. The owner is a super cool guy and went above and beyond to get me help. Sadly, I had another accident that I tried to get repaired at Select. I had to call them a few times to get a copy of the estimate and when I tried to schedule the service, they never returned my calls. As a matter of fact, no one ever called to schedule my repairs, I guess it was too small of a job and not very important. At this point they did me a favor, the I went to the Collision Center of Peoria. I'm actually very glad i did. I saved $400 dollars and they did an excellent job. read more

I had an amazing experience here! I don't live in the city. I actually drove out to Phoenix from Gilbert because of the high reviews mentioned about select audio body. After meeting them in person, I'm confident this is the only autobody shop I will ever go to. They took their time to answer my questions. I could trust that they were honest in their communications and upfront and sharing the truth of what I would be looking at repair wise. In fact, so off the charts that I believe it would be safe to say anyone could trust them with their life and that says a lot for an auto body shop. I'm just very glad that I called four or five different shops before calling them and the difference in the phone conversation is what sold me to know that this is the right place and I was correct in my assumption.. Select Auto Body was recommended to me by Rich at RaWorx shop when my Mazda Cx 5 was backed into in October 2023. I brought my car down to Select and met the owner Bud. He was personable and his whole staff made a good first impression. Unfortunately, I was backed into again before my initial apt with Select so additional damage occurred. Thankfully the people at fault had insurance and Select made everything smooth. They were able to move my initial apt up sooner to the first week of the New Year. I was surprised how fast they got all the parts in, and they were able to replace a random car part that had minor damage, unrelated to my accident, with my insurance. I had one phone conversation with them when they got the parts in, a week later they called to tell me my vehicle was ready. My car was washed, clean, the auto body work they did makes my car look brand new. I'm absolutely flabbergasted. When I took my car in I might have been sitting at a quarter tank left. When I turned my car on to leave I was pretty much on empty. Bud told me to get in the front seat and drove me to the nearest gas station. He filled up my whole tank for me. He explained when parts and electronics are replaced they have to drive the vehicle a full drive cycle. He apologized for this oversight by his staff in not recognizing it was low. He also explained how they have "board meetings" everyday with staff and discuss cars in the shop and safety measures, customer service. I am so happy I did some research and decided to use Select Auto Body instead of another collision center that was recommended by my insurance. I trusted the reviews and man did this place deliver!
