Passing through ATL and stranded here due to wether delays and would have stayed and had a few more vodka's but it took them almost 10 mins to notice me new and then another 20 mins to get my drink after the bartender Tiffany forgot. The male bartender is no better. I'm a very generous tipper as I have owned a restaurant and can recognize hard work. Not tonight. This place was a disaster. Avoid. I wanted to like this place more, but it really wasn't that good, even for airport fare. I got a glass of rose, that was too sweet for my liking, but I drank it anyway. I got the signature burger with sweet potato fries. The fries were the best part. The burger was large and meaty and served in a brioche bun. But it was too charred on the outside even though it was medium pink on the inside. For $15, I wanted something that tasted better than five guys or smash burger, and this totally missed that mark. The service was good and fast and kept refilling my water, which I appreciated. I also liked all of the plugs for devices at the high tables. For convenience this is 3 stars, but for food and pricing, only two. If I was Cat Cora, I'd be ashamed to have my name on this airport location. read more

We had a long delay in our flight so we grabbed some fries and a burger. Menu looked really enticing. They had a few vegetarian options as well. The sweet potato with the garlic aioli was okay. The sauce was more mayo than aioli-esque. Burger was average as far as I could tell. Ultimately, not the worst thing I've ever had in an airport, but gathering the impression most in airport grills aren't very good. Cat Cora's was average. read more

I was happy to find a breakfast place during my morning layover at ATL. But sadly I had a bad experience. 1. People were served before me who were seated after me. 2. I was never given water. 3. My omelet had to be remade (they'd forgotten the cheese). 4. I only got a refill on my coffee after I asked twice. 5. My coffee cup wasn't clean (things floating in my coffee). 6. Wasn't given a spoon to stir sugar in coffee. With the omelet issue, the manager did come out and apologize, which was great. But this place seems to be a mess when busy. read more

Had the New York and Lobster Mac. The steak was cooked perfectly and was well seasoned. The only complaint is the lobster mac was a great mac. Pasta cooked perfectly, cheese sauce flavorful and cheesy good, but it did lack in the lobster. But still a great mac and cheese! The good: Oh dear god, the grilled artichoke. It's legitimately delicious. I have tried (and so far failed) to recreate it at home. It's worth the wait! To the wait team's credit - they always warn me that is a 15-minute item. Also, the grilled avocado salad with chicken is also a solid, dependable bet. They also have outlets at the bar, making it a convenient place to charge up your devices while you recharge with a cold drink. The bad: Man, the wait staff seem to hate their jobs. Or maybe just their customers - ha! It's rare to be looked in the eye when you're talking with them, rarer still to be addressed in a neutral or positive way. Also, it can take a long time to close out a tab. The wait times don't seem to correlate to being busy. The meh: It does take a while to get food here. After spending two days traveling by car across the USA, having to spend four hours in an airport due to weather was not something I wanted to be doing. I stumbled upon this little gem on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 waiting for my 6:30 pm departure. I was quickly seated, immediately attended to by a lovely server named Shatori. She brought me a water, left me a menu and returned in a sufficient amount of time to take my order. I ordered the potato chips with dip which was AMAZING!!! I forgot the name but I have thought about that dip since then wishing it was something I could buy! I also ordered the Penne pasta (did I mention a four hour layover), and the pasta was prepared perfectly, al dente, full of robust flavor and just the right amount of pasta for a serving. I loved this dish too. Shatori was very kind, attentive but not too much as I had lots of emails to catch up on. She checked on me, made sure I had beverages refreshed and confirmed if I was not interested in any dessert. As I watched my fellow passengers at my gate later, quickly shoving in their terminal bought sandwiches before departure, I felt lucky that I had such a wonderful dining experience from beginning to end. Out of my week long trip, dining out at various restaurants along the way, this little spot was such a nice change and was quite unexpected. I would rather have spent money on this type of food, then the quick grab and go items any day. It made for a happier traveler too!! I was ready to pass this place, and now I wish I had. It started from the beginning. When the hostess was seating us, there were tons of empty seats around in good locations for people with two carry-ons, but she decided she wanted to sit us on barstool near the kitchen basically behind people who were already sitting there, so we would have blocked the waiters coming out of the kitchen. Luckily, there was another employee who noticed how absurd that was, and he said we could sit anywhere else. He was the only part of this place that was good. I ordered a medium-done burger with sweet potato fries. For some reason, it took about 30-45 minutes for it to come out. I've been to other airport restaurants. They never take that long because they know people are trying to get their planes. Nope, not this place. When the burger got there, it was burnt. There was nothing medium about it. Actually, it wasn't even well done. It was straight up burnt. I guess the time we were waiting there was them making sure to burn up the burger. Truly bad experience. Avoid it. My family and I (party of 3) arrived at the airport hours prior to our departure just to eat at Cat Cora's restaurant. We started watching Cat cook her creations back in the day on Iron Chef. Upon arrival the hostess had a very bad attitude. The hostess is the FIRST person you come in contact with. Eventually she cleared off a table the previous guest had already departed prior to our arrival and returned to her station. Instead of seating us at the table she sits another party at a table for 2 who arrived at the restaurant after us. We were seated next and watched server after server after server walk past our table without even offering us a glass of water. After watching other tables receive service which 3 of the 4 seated after us my party and I departed the restaurant. The server, Alexis, sat me down, quickly grabbed me a menu and said she wanted me to be able to order food before the kitchen closed in a few minutes. My server coached me with my selection. I ordered a tasty, local Atlanta beer and a burger. I was surprised I was able to order it medium rare and it actually was served medium rare! I wanted a healthy salad and table service and was excited to be able to try something from the kitchen of an acclaimed chef in the airport concourse. But my excitement was short-lived as my quick, relaxing lunch immediately turned into a challenge navigating me and my small carry-on bag between the too-close tables. It continued as I tried convincing the server that indeed I wanted only a small glass of water with my meal, not the big expensive bottle on the table or another he might bring me so I could "take it with" me. And it concluded with me later trying to get the attention of that same server to bring my check. I ordered the tangerine salad, which turned out to be a modest quantity of arugula and mixed greens drizzled with an oily, supposedly tangerine flavored dressing. It was a pretty underwhelming salad. Had I been serving it at my house, I would have added small slices of tangerine or mandarin orange as garnish to at least make it look pretty. But what do I know? We were finally able to enjoy a full meal at this restaurant. If you have time in between flights, dine here! Kim- the manager is a natural and welcomes you with open arms and good conversation. We started with their local cheese plate, lamb meatballs but hands down my favorite were the BaKed jalapeño poppers with creamy feta cheese. Oh my!! A very upscale approach to your traditional poppers. We had the seafood stew and the lobster Mac and cheese (wish it was spicer). The wine selection was ok.. we had their special proprietor blend wine. The only thing is we wished they stored their wine at proper temperature; however we did mention this issue and Kim happily placed our wine in the fridge for a little bit so we were happy customers. To finish this fun airport meal off we ordered both desserts some lemon curd one- too sweet for my taste buds and then the chocolate one (which takes 15 min to bake to order) it was delicious and decadent. Joe initially greeted me and helped answer questions about the menu as I needed gluten free options. Bre was my waitress who is marvelous. She is very sweet and was truly understanding of my need to avoid gluten (GF is not a fad for me!). I had the Grilled artichoke with creamy caper sauce which was INCREDIBLE along with the Beet and wild greens salad with goat cheese on the side, and a glass of tea. All excellent. Watching while I was eating, I could see that all of the staff was really attentive to the patrons. What fantastic service and at an airport! Who would have known. The positives: all 3 times I've stopped by (delta flyers - here A LOT) the podium staff have been amazing. Seating, bussing, running food, polite. They are awesome. The rest: you put a Cobb salad on the menu and every woman traveling alone will order it. Every. Single. One. It's ok. I got it with shrimp. Shrimp were ok, tails on so a pain. But there's sundried tomatoes. Blech. A bunch of them. Like 1/3 cup. I asked for the avocado and dressing on the side, didn't happen. Burger- way dry. Good flavor, but super dry. Service- slow. Polite. But slow. Like hope you have a two hour layover slow. And sloppy. Some of the food comes out, 10 minutes later some more, etc. There is better food at the food court. The flank steak tacos weren't too bad- the pineapple salsa (which were just a few cooked pineapple tidbits) and the green sauce added a nice flavor to them. However, the steak had no seasoning at all and wasn't sliced for tacos too well, but they did cook it as I requested, so they get points for that. For $19, it should've came with a side, but didn't.
