I came here for convenience only as I don't usually eat at hotel restaurants. Their dinner entrees are all over $40, except for their "shrimp cargot"...which is only $18 for some reason. They also offer their lunch items consisting of sandwiches, apps, and salads at dinner, which are more reasonably priced. For dinner, I chose the 8pc order of Buffalo wings, bone-in, since I was still full from earlier. I picked the hot flavor with ranch as my dipping sauce. I also added an unsweetened tea. The unsweetened tea was good quality and tasted great with no sugar. Some unsweetened teas are terrible, but theirs tastes similar to teavana. The wings were mostly flats which I prefer, and the service was great. The ranch that comes with the meal tasted good, but didn't seem homemade. The hot was more like a medium flavor. I found out the following day that my colleague also tried to dine here the previous evening, a few hours after my visit, but he got stuck behind a large group and never even managed to be seated. The servers kept coming to him about 4 times and said "we'll be right with you" then leaving, but they never actually came back to seat him, so he finally gave up. For comparison, during my experience, I came early around 6pm, so I was one of the first to show up for dinner service which may be the reason why I had no issues being seated or bad service during my meal. In other words, it can be hit or miss. I can't vouch for any of the other food, but other diners that were seated after me almost all ordered burgers. read more

Cecilia's is located in the Westin Atlanta Airport Hotel. We decided to have dinner here because it was a snow day in Atlanta and all other restaurants were closed. We quickly noticed they were very understaffed and waited for several minutes to be acknowledged and seated. We then were offered waters and my friend ordered a glass of wine. It took 30 minutes for him to receive the wine. We placed our order and it took another hour to receive the food. The shrimp "cargot" is the appetizer we had--pale, undercooked shrimp covered in low quality cheese. They were out of steak frites so my friend ordered the salad with steak and I ordered the seared salmon. It took an hour before it was delivered to the table--extremely slow service but thankfully we had nowhere else to be. The presentation was nice for both dishes but the vegetables that accompanied my salmon were inedible like garnish. read more

This place is okay. We ordered the calamari, a burger, and tacos. The calamari was delicious and spicy. I would order that again. It was two tacos which I dont think isn't that much. It was also salty. I wouldnt order it again. The burger was okay. Way better than the tacos. The burger was cooked perfectly. I didn't enjoy the BBQ sauce but that is just a personal preference. I just think that there are better burgers out there. The fries that came with the burger and tacos were not that good either. I would say average as best. They were pretty limp and sad. The staff was nice and attentive. I have no complaints about them. We came here for convenience. We did not have a car to try other restaurants. read more

This was one of the few options at the hotel for breakfast. I would say it's expensive for what you get. At $25 for the buffet and the lowest cost a-la-cart item being French toast at $16. The service was good; however, for a quick breakfast, you could do better elsewhere. The buffet had the standard continental breakfast items, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit and muffins, toast and such. $5 for a cup of coffee, however if you frequent Starbucks you are likely used to that. Yes it's a hotel restaurant and bar so you can't expect the best dining experience of your life, but don't be so dang picky and keep it in perspective. We had some beers and wine, the boom boom shrimp, and a salad and the grilled chicken sandwich. It was all very good and the bartenders dId a great job. I was at the hotel for a 2 week business trip and ate breakfast and some dinners at the restaurant. The staff were always extremely attentive and friendly. Wanda was my favorite of them all. She remembered previous day conversations such as did I pass the test I was prepping for. Being away from family and friends for this long, it was nice being around friendly people such as Wanda. Located inside of the Westin hotel. Really small restaurant, but great food. The boom boom shrimp for the appetizer was amazing. I wanted more. Our server was very knowledgeable. I ordered what he suggested and I'm glad we did. The only negative things I will call out is the parking. $23 for valet and $4 an hour for self parking. I think there should be a different rate if you're just eating at the restaurant. The food also took a while to come out and the restaurant was not crowded. When I stay I frequently have supper in the restaurant and ALWAYS have breakfast there. The breakfast buffet is great, even though they have hidden the smoked salmon and cheese plates. There's always fresh fruit, the standard breakfast foods, pastries, made to order omelette s and smoked salmon IF you ask for it. I sometimes asked for items that weren't on the dinner menu but were on another menu at the hotel. I won't do that again because the last two times I did that I was overcharged. read more

She's really cute and always makes great recommendations. Completely unimpressed. I was tired, had been up since before dawn, and didn't want to fuss with getting to other nearby restaurants, so I decided to give Cecilia's a try. Like another reviewer, I noted very little "Southern" about this restaurant. Maybe two dishes on the menu would qualify as Southern. I had the mahi-mahi fish tacos with Caesar salad @ $17. It's two tacos and a 6"x6" shallow salad. The fish was dry and overcooked, the salad warm. Maybe some of the other menu items would be a better choice. I love this place. Chef Anthony is born and raised New Orleans.I was so glad to meet him because I was able to ask him whats good. He had great suggestions then he asked what I had a taste for .So I said a filet. When I tell you this filet was the most tender and juicy. He also made me collard greens which he said they got in that day fresh. What more could I ask of them he even brought out bbq butter that was on top of filet. It was AWESOME!!!.I eat here alot now while staying here on business. This place is so good he makes homemade beignets on Wednesday's like being in the french quarter. Dont forget to try the turkey and sausage gumbo it will blow your socks off. This gumbo was the best I have ever had and Im from the south. It was soooo very good. So I have traveled to Atlanta many times, and it is a place that has some great food choices. Unfortunately, some of the better spots are a bit of a drive when staying by the airport, so after a long day, decided not to trek out and eat at the Westin for dinner. I came here for breakfast, and it was just like you would expect. Breakfast buffet, average at best, and just shy of $20. I had a glimmer of hope that dinner would be better, but tried to set expectations properly. Long story short, I should have grabbed my rental car or called and uber. It wasn't a horrendous meal, but certainly below average. If you want more of the deet's, read on. First off, the server was great. Very prompt and attentive. The friendly service saved this place from 2 stars. I started with lime glazed asparagus. Not terrible, but a little on the oily side. I then went into a wedge salad. I am a sucker for wedge salads, but am used to good ones. The one here is a piece of iceberg lettuce, some packaged grape tomatoes, bacon bits (not kidding here, I know what bacon bits are, and these were them), and blue cheese served on the side. Disappointing. For the main course, I had the blacked cod in a creole sauce. Folks, the creole sauce was a jar of stewed tomatoes heated up and dumped in the dish. The fish wasn't terrible. Was seasoned OK and cooked through. It came with 2 sides and I got French fries and collard greens. The fries had the consistency of being made, then refrigerated, then microwaved and some salt thrown on them. Collard greens were average. I didn't stay for coffee or desert and got the check. Throughout the meal, the server checked on me a few times, was very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Again, 2 star food experience with an add for the service. If you are short on time, just super tired from your day, or just have a strong desire not to venture out, this place is passable and you won't leave sick. If not, please, try the many amazing places Atlanta has to offer and just wave hello to the friendly wait staff on your way out. read more

Had business here 3 nights last month. Ate dinner at Cecelia's all three nights. Food is above average , but service is impeccable, friendly and professional.all the wait staff is great, but Brandi , in particular , was outstanding and I'd return again just to see her smiling face. She's a gem and Cecelia's Southern Table is lucky to have her. Try the Shrimp and Grits or the Shrimp Pomodoro- you won't be disappointed. Ask for Brandi! I stayed at the Westin for a couple of nights and decided to stay in for dinner rather than explore the city at night. The restaurant is ok - just ok! The decor needs refreshing, the wait staff is friendly and polite, but the menu and food is far below par for a Westin hotel. Cecilia's "Southern" Table leads you to believe you would have a great selection of southern food. While there is fried green tomatoes and some grits on the menu, the overall menu is very confused. There are some Asian dishes with soba noodles, burgers, fish and two steaks. There doesn't seem to be any continuity in the menu. I understand they are trying to cater to everyone but there is a way to do that and keep the "southern" flare. I ordered the filet mignon and when it arrived it appeared to be a thick, juicy steak about 2 inches thick. But instead it was two, thin cuts of meat stacked on top of each other and was overcooked (more well done than medium as I requested). For the fingerling potatoes, there were 3, cut lengthwise. The grilled Brussels sprouts were so overdone that they shriveled up on the plate and appeared to be sitting on a warmer for days. Not edible. I would not eat here again. I would likely try the steakhouse at the Marriott across the street instead. read more
