If you are looking for a place to get wasted this may be the place to go but make sure that you have a lot of time on your hands. I ordered a water and chicken Caesar salad. Was told that the chicken was fried, given a water and sat down. After fifteen minutes I had the feeling this was going to take longer than I had time for, I asked for the salad to be to go. The bartender said oh ok , and then put my order in...15 mins AFTER I order it. There hasn't been anyone in the kitchen and the bartender kept getting reminders from patrons ab drinks that they had ordered that she had forgotten. She also kept pressuring patrons to order doubles even when they told her repeatedly that they only wanted a single. After ten minutes I saw someone walk into the kitchen and 5-10 minutes later my salad came out. I saw the bartender talk back and forth with the cook and could tell that something was wrong. The bartender brought over a small container and said "Um it's compacted". They gave me half the portion of the actual salad. And best part, no chicken at all. At this point I felt like trying to get the correct order was futile and I didn't have another 30 mins to waste. The salad itself was the quality of a fast food salad. All time bad service. I ordered food and they didn't tell me there was no chef. Chef shows up 20 minutes later. Bartender forgets my food order and promises it will be up in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later two other people get served the same order I placed and my food isn't up yet. After a full hour, my food is not ready and it's last call for my flight to board. I had to leave, never got my food. The bartender was nice but totally inattentive and it was wrong to not speak up and say they didn't have a chef. This bar is at the end of Concourse A in the Atlanta airport. I did appreciate a nice place to have a beer before boarding my flight, but honestly, I think there needs to be a separate place for smoking. It just felt really smoky inside and not to mention on the carcinogenic fumes you're inhaling. You also smell terrible after leaving this place. I'd consider coming back to have a beer, but I really don't want to smell like an ashtray for the rest of the day. read more

First off I am blown away for the experience I had at TAP. The energy is positive, polite and honestly witty. Even with disgruntled passengers Rachel handled everything with class. I was blown away at the customers and how they would address her and the way she would smooth them over. I know it is stressful traveling - I for one am one of those people - but she put me at ease. She made me feel comfortable, I laughed & honestly didn't want to leave. I'll make my layover longer next time just so I can enjoy it and have the delicious burger again! This place lets you smoke in the airport. Otherwise, it's complete garbage. They scream at every patron who walks in the doors. "Buy something or get out!" The cheapest item is $4 for a bottle of 25 cent water. The staff are constantly fighting, the food is garbage, they are always out of half their menu items, and the place is always too cold. Walked all the way through the terminal with my two kids to get here only to find out it's a smoking terrarium - it's like they put a bar in the middle of the smoking lounge. No problem with smoking lounges - just DONT advertise yourself as a gastropub - which is a restaurant and which should be non smoking. Yay! Atlanta airport has a Gastro pub, featuring all natural food & craft beer. Boo! It permits smoking & has glass doors sealing in the smoke. Thus: If you want to pay extra for natural food because you are concerned about avoiding toxic chemical additives, you must put up with vile cigarette chemicals. If you desire vile cigarette chemicals that destroy your health, your only food options are higher priced foods designed for health nuts. Our flight was delayed and my family and I were pretty bummed until we went to Tap Gastro Pub. I highly recommend this place. The spring rolls & pretzel bites are awesome and a couple beers from Rachel made our day so much better. She did a fantastic job dealing with the mob of people that came in from the delayed flight. Traveling through Atlanta airport in terminal A. I have to admit I really only came in here to smoke because they function as the smoking lounge for "A" terminal. I was a little hungry anyway and due to their decent reviews, I decided to try the tacos. They were tasty but very small. Like little tapas tacos. At $7.70 for 2 of these little snacks, definitely over priced. Of course I understand I'm in an airport and they also know that all the smokers are going to come here. Of course you have to buy something to come in and smoke. I can't blame them for that. However, the price is still just too high for this little Gastro pub for what you get. Give them a shot if you really need to smoke and want a decently tasty snack. Beware though that a snack is exactly what your going to get for 10.00 with tip as long as you drink water with your snack. You can add a beer for another $8.00 though! PS. Just signed the check. It was 10.69 before tip. They charged 1.10 each for the salsa and sour cream. 2 bite sized tacos and a tap water for over 10 dollars. Lol, I'm in a Gastro pub for goodness sakes. read more
