Great food, better service! From the moment we walked up the staff was friendly and ensured we wanted for nothing. Our waiter (Jo) was phenomenal and went above and beyond what was needed. I had the Cat Cora Burger with Blue Cheese and Sweet Potato Fries my Girlfriend had a Chimicarra Chicken sandwich with a side salad. Both dishes were delicious and delivered extremely quick. I ate here and it was disappointing. 1. The server spilled beer not ours but it splashed all over us and our face and eyeglasses. She gave us napkins to sop it up--BUT, she could have done a little something extra to show her apologies. 2.I ordered the Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Combo. The Manager of Cat Cora called me, personally apologized, let me know that two employees had been removed from the food prep line effective immediately, returned my money, and insisted that the next time I'm going to be in the airport that I contact him so he could give me the VIP treatment from my arrival until when I board and he backed it up with giving me his personal cell number. Service is SLOW. Typically this place would seat you. No one was manning the seating. Servers would not step in and seat guests and then when people would sit on their own they were ignored. Just acknowledge we are there...I understand if you busy. Been here before and experienced the same slow and unrecognized service. I ended up going down the terminal to another place. read more

Let's talk for a second about hospitality. My group of 4 had a flight delay and we wandered into this typical airport restaurant/lounge and had a seat. We ordered drinks (which were amazing) and then were offered complementary scallops by Chef Keith. Now, I don't know about you but I love a good scallop. This guy made these blackened spicy scallops with lime that were out of this world! This was something he was just "working on" in the back and wondered if we would give it a try. If that's not enough he then made us a complementary dessert which my group has called "The Keith" made from a lemon/chocolate ice cream brownie combo. Layovers are miserable and layovers with delays are even worse. These guys made our night and if this place is any indication of the rest of Atlanta, we can't wait to come back. Thanks!!! read more

Disappointed in today's visit. I usually purposely plan to have lunch since I fly out of terminal a. I have the avocado Cobb Every time and absolutely love it. The service is always great until today. I went out on a limb and ordered a medium burger. It took a while for Sergio to checkon me, then insisted on making a new one...fine. he said 3 mins. It took 10. It was good, however they are lost on the concept of protein style or lettuce bun. As I was transferring my food into take out box he made me stop and grab my cc when he could have just set it down seeing my hands were full. I hope this is a one time fluke or bad dream. Next time I'm expecting to see my regular servers and I'll have the salad. They get one more try. read more

I usually have my go to spot in the Atlanta-Hartsfield Jackson Airport that I eat on business travel, but I love Iron Chef Michael Symons place in Pittsburgh Airport so I thought I would give fellow Iron Chef Cat Cora's new place a go. It had only been opened a few weeks so I will keep that in mind. The service was not very quick, which is often a necessity within the airport crowd and my food sat in the window after being prepared for about 10 minutes waiting for a server to pick it up and bring it to me. I almost wanted to walk up and grab it myself as I watched it cool. I would say that the food was just ok for airport food and the menu selection was somewhat limited. As I travel quite a bit I will give it a couple of months to get established and give it another go. Really Like Watching Cat on food network, I hope this place gets it figured out and rises to the level of an Iron chef, even if it is in the airport. read more

I found myself with some time to kill in Terminal A while on a layover, so rather than my usual grab and go Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwich I thought I would give Cat Cora's a try. The menu isn't huge, but has plenty of options for beverages and food. I decided on the grilled cheese with tomato soup and a large Pellegrino. I would have LOVED to have indulged in a glass of wine or one of their beers on tap, however seeing as I am 6 months pregnant I thought my OBGYN (and other restaurant patrons) may frown upon that selection. The soup and sandwich were delivered promptly. The soup was warm, but not hot (that is sort of a pet peeve of mine). The grilled cheese was made with an artisanal bread and was fresh tasting, however the sandwich was a little too heavy on the bread and light on the cheese. My meal was good, but as most airport restaurants are it was overall somewhat disappointing. It is a good option if you don't want a cold airport sandwich or fast food, but don't expect too much. I would also like to note that the service was fast and friendly which can be hard to find in airports. read more

This is a great place if you are looking for a quiet spot to read your book and don't actually want to eat or drink anything. Because no one actually waits on you. At least, no one waited on me or the people around me. The waitstaff appeared very friendly as they had animated conversations with each other. I'll never know as I left after 15 minutes! read more

I'm actually here now and if I could stop anyone from coming in to this place with this review, then it's worth it. I never expect much from airport restaurants and Cat Cora did not raise the bar. I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup to eat now and a cheese board to take with me for later. The cheese board arrived first and I knew I wouldn't be able to eat it later due to the poor condition that it arrived in. All of the cheese, bread, and fruit were drenched in honey because everything was either just thrown in together or someone dropped it on the way to the table. The raspberries and strawberries were soft and borderline old ( more smoothie quality). I must admit that they honeycomb was good (but the bees did that part). The grilled cheese was okay and the soup was fine. My waitress was kind and working hard as well. I was however saddened that a woman that was seated at a larger table was asked to. I've to another table. Normally this is. It a big deal but the lady had several bags and was using a walker to get around. She informed the customer about the move then walked off. I had to help her with her bags so she could make the move. I enjoy fine food restaurants and have eaten at amazing dives. But as for this place, keep on walking. read more

Slow and rude. I ordered as I sat down because I was in a hurry. Bartender didnt put my order in. Then, he served the people who arrived after me first. He didn't ask which breakfast meat I wanted, he chose for me. When I asked for sausage he eventually let the kitchen know but it was too late and they got it wrong. He wouldn't let me pay until my to go order came, even though this is an airport and I was in a hurry. He told the woman next to me to "calm down, you'll get your food". The customer service number on the receipt led to voice mail. All of this bad service in just 10min. I'd look for another place to spend your money. read more

One server went out of his way to help an elderly patron who was having difficulty standing after sitting for quite a while. Today was my first and last time eating at a Cat Cora restaurant. I ordered the beef tacos. The menu said they were flank steak tacos, but the server informed me that they had been changed to braised beef. I opted to pay extra for avocado and cheese. The total with tax for just the tacos was over 28.00, and the order came with 3 tacos. It does not include any side items. That's over $9 per taco, which I wouldn't have minded had they been good, but they were not. It took a half hour for my food to arrive. The avocado came as an entire avocado half just thrown on the side, not even sliced. The cheese also came on the side, in about a one tablespoon cup. The cheese was completely flavorless, but then so were the tacos. There was absolutely no spice and very little flavor at all to them. Each taco had about two tablespoons of the braised beef in it. It tasted like pot roast with just a bit of sugar as seasoning. The only thing positive I can say about the experience was that the staff was very friendly. read more

Ordered 2 eggs with potatoes and chicken sausage plus coffee. Meal came out quickly but incredibly small portions and no butter or jam for the dry wheat toast. While having breakfast between flights at ATL, I experienced unnecessary discrimination from a hostess, whose name tag starts with S. When my order was brought, I proceeded to unwrap my cloth napkin and noticed it was not clean. It showed stains of food left-overs. I called on the hostess three times, and she ignored me. Another couple noticed she did not pay attention to my calling, which was timid coming from me. And she turned to them and explained something and walked away. She obviously heard me calling, just decided to ignore me altogether. Perhaps because of my Hispanic background. I told the couple I just needed a napkin, and they said just to grab the one on the table next to me. I did just that to avoid further discomfort. As soon as I did that, I felt like just walking away. Lost my appetite. I will never stop at this location again. Food was neatly served and delicious, however, by my waitress. read more

We had lots of time so we thought we'd have breakfast. A Mistake ! Ronald, our server, was having a really bad day already at 8:55 AM on October 1st. And, he made certain those of us at the bar knew it as well as snapping at his co-workers. The food was not served as presented on the menu. The oatmeal was some of the worst I have ever tasted. The melon was basically cut from the rind. We even had to ask for silver ware !! Ordering a Virgin Mary stressed the entire system and staff. Flew through ATL last night and we stopped to have dinner here. Would have preferred whatever Delta was serving up to this option because, although it wouldn't have tasted good, it would at least have had some flavor. The couple next to us sent the linguine with scallops back because as she said I like spicy but this dish was indiscriminately heavily overly seasoned. She then got the beet salad, which looked good, but then left 2/3 of it. We had the poppers and lobster mac and cheese - can't go wrong with that, right? Looked beautiful but the only flavor apparent in the poppers was the cream cheese. The mac and cheese was entirely flavorless - couldn't taste the cheese, crumbly topping, lobster - nothing. Even the pasta was bland. What capped the entire experience was how bad our waitress was especially compared to the waiter that served tables next to us. She never asked how much time we had before our flight, got our food out to us after several other tables that came in after us, especially after we stated our deadline. She comped the poppers which was nice, but do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere at Hartsfield, or if this restaurant is your only option in the concourse while rushing between flights, consider chez Delta instead. read more
