July 2026 was my first appt. at the Eastside, Tanque Verde location. Other than very little eye to eye contact with the receptionist, it was a positive experience. Very short wait getting into the exam room with about a 10 minute wait to see the PA, Ryan R. Ryan was VERY thorough, professional, yet very personable. He spent a lot of time answering questions and concerns and never rushed me out. I had a simple skin cancer check up and he put me at ease with the exam. I will definitely be using Ryan R. and this office as my go to dermatologist! Thank you Ryan! read more

I went for an appointment and never received my prescriptions. I left messages with the correct pharmacy but they were never sent and I didn't receive a call from the office explaining if there was an issue or concern. Disappointing. read more

I've been going to this office for several years and have had multiple procedures completed. The clinical staff is amazing. HOWEVER - I missed an appointment today (consult and mole removal) and received a call to reschedule. I apologized and asked what I owed. I was told to not worry about it and they rescheduled me for next week. All good, or so I thought. 2 hours later I get a call from someone in the front office asking me to pay a past due balance, which I wasn't even aware of, but had no problems paying today. She told me they were going to charge me 2 missed appointment fees - one for $50 and one for $150. I was surprised that they were double tapping me for 1 office visit. I asked to speak to the office manager, who wasn't available. I then asked to speak to the practice owner (or get a call back) and received condescending responses. The office representative that called continued to press to collect and provide snarky responses. She asked what I wanted and I reiterated that I wanted to speak to someone in charge. To lose a patient over administrative fees is mind boggling to me. I used to work as an office manager in the medical field and I'm blown away by this experience. Again - great clinical staff, but terrible patient experience by the front office. read more

Updated review 9-22-20 the lobby has been rearranged for social distancing . Busy ne side office which is large comfortable & filled with enjoyable art . I've had experience with Dr Mann with a parent . I've worked with Blaine Jensen & Lupe, all very professional and friendly . A busy office well worth the effort for scheduling an appointment . Easy access off Tanque verde East of Sabino Canyon across from udall park soccer fields. New addition to medical office complex cages to lock a bike in ! The office ladies were nice, the dermatologist I saw was nice and the appointment was fine however another Dr barged in the room during my appointment looking for the doctor I was seeing and that they "needed him" and then looks at me, doesn't apologize, and says "carry on" No he did not knock either Super uncomfortable and unprofessional. read more

For my first 3 visits I had 0 complaints about this office. I would go in and see Jessica and she was always thorough, friendly, and prompt. Recently I went in for my annual skin check and she took a biopsy. They tried calling me once with my results, but I was in the middle of teaching and could not answer. I called back promptly and was told that the girls who deliver biopsy results weren't in the office and I needed to call back the next day. So I did. Even within office hours the phone said the office was closed. I tried three more times on separate days to no avail. I gave up and decided if the news was bad then they would give me a call back. Then, about 6 months later I was sent a letter that I needed to sign for saying that my biopsy came back atypical and they had tried reaching me "several times" and I needed to come in for further treatment. After receiving the letter I tried calling the office again. This time I was told that Dr. Mann's assistant was not able to come to the phone at the moment and she is the only one who can book the procedure I needed. I called back three more times, leaving my name, number, and situation. I even called another time and left my husbands number in case there was something going on with my phone. It has been over two weeks and I have still heard absolutely nothing. I will be taking my letter into a different dermatologists office and getting the procedure done there. It's a shame because Jessica was amazing and I had such good experiences previously (however, I have also recently heard that Jessica decided to leave the office). read more

The billing department charged incorrectly so I had to pay for everything out of pocket. I canceled my second appointment due to this error, afraid that it would happen again. The results of my biopsy came back, and I was given 3 options for future actions. I made my decision, and then got a letter from Dr. Mann criticizing me for canceling my second appointment and for not selecting the one of the other 2 options both of which would have required further treatment in his office. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Mann (Catalina Dermatology) for several years and he has always been great. His technical staff has been great as well. Over the years, there were a couple of minor hiccups with appointments but the front desk staff was always friendly and worked with me to resolve the issue. Wow! What a change at the front desk. The current staff is unfriendly, apparently has no sense of what constitutes good customer service and appears to not give a crap about you or your time. I have cancelled all future appointments and will never return to this office. So, Dr. Mann, due to your poor front desk staff and their screw-off attitude, I will find another local Tucson Dermatology practice. 5 star because I don't have any skin cancer! Okay, really, Dr. Mann is so nice, so friendly and just kinda fun to talk to while he looks you over, and I mean thoroughly looks you over. With loupes, too so he doesn't miss anything. He found a mole I never knew I had and removed it right there, quickly, and said they would call with either result (benign, yea!). The staff are also very nice and easy to talk to as well. I look forward to going back in a year for another perfect exam. read more

Absolutely *horrible* scheduling and customer service with the administrative team. The receptionist and scheduling clerk (in the back) were outrageously rude and give new meaning to the term "snotty." Having a history of melanoma, I had been seeing Dr. Mann since approximately 2010. Over the past couple of years, I have been constantly rescheduled, bumped around, and swindled into seeing the Physician's Assistant instead of Dr. Mann. While in the office, they then blamed me (AGAIN) for their ineptitude in scheduling, incorrectly stating that I was a no show. Prior to all of this nonsense, Dr. Mann himself asked the scheduling team to "wipe the slate clean" in regards to so-called "missed appointments" (which were more so the fault of the inept schedulers) so I could get back in to see him more frequently and not have to see the Physician's Assistant. Knowing I had a history of melanoma, Dr. Mann had directed his staff at one of my check ups to have me get in more frequently to him. Regardless, I have had to wait close to one year to see Dr. Mann, only to have the schedulers change the day and time on me last-minute AGAIN and AGAIN only to book me with the P.A. without notifying me. I lost a day's worth of pay due to the scheduling team's incompetence, only to have them lie to my face that it was my fault and not their antiquated system. The outrageously snotty clerk went so far as to say that Dr. Mann is no longer my dermatologist without even having the fair opportunity to see him on my long awaited scheduled appointment. Dr. Mann was unaware of this nonsense going on in his office, but I hope he gets an opportunity to read this (along with the many other similar reviews on other forums) so he can make some much needed changes with his terrible staff. No disrespect to Dr. Mann who is actually a very compassionate and highly competent doctor. But, his staff should be reprimanded for their utter lack of competence, decency, and customer service. I would NOT recommend anyone coming to this office unless you want to be treated horribly and with complete disdain. read more

I just want to say that Blane the nurse practitioner is awesome! I haven't had a chance to meet Dr Mann yet but Blane has really taken great care of me and truly cares. The front desk staff is actually wonderful I don't know what the previous review person is even talking about. They are always pleasant and very helpful. Highly recommend this office! What an AWFUL practice. Needs to be shutdown. I went for an easy Hidradentis Supporativa visit. For this chronic skin condition I needed to be put on a mild antibiotic I've been on for ten years. Not only did they say overcharge the visit but for some reason they never fill prescriptions. Every time my medicine was up for renewal they would deny it. While I was on vacation and off my meds because of them for months I had a bad breakout and needed my prescription. They refused to fill it saying I hadn't been seen for 5 months. Later they denied it again saying I needed to come in once a year even though my yearly appt wasn't up. Then the next time they denied they said it was because I needed to be seen every six months. The office people are horrible and condescending. When I called they asked if this was "about my rash." You work at a dermatology and you can't even have the tact to use the medical name? Which isn't a rash at all? Very rude, horrible practice. Very unprofessional. Will not recommend to anyone. read more
