Wow! I moved here from Sonoma, CA in summer 2018. Sonoma (Boyes Hot Springs) is the home of Mary's Pizza Shack--high-grade pizza. After trying every available pizza in Grants Pass, I had thrown in the towel on finding good pizza. I'm so happy to have found Catalyst Pizza! It's amazing! Once one becomes accustomed to good pizza--Abby's don't cut it--sorry. Catalyst has fantastic ratios/time in oven, real pepperoni, etc. And Anna and Zach are super-nice. Thank you so much! Let me preface this by saying I have given this place 3 total tries before placing a review because they have an okay pizza. However with that being said every single time I have ordered from this place it has been over an hour and a half wait when they told me it would be a half hour. After checking on my order not once but twice, we received a pizza that was undercooked and less than appetizing. Someone else in our party who also ordered ended up having to get a refund for her order. As did many others also in line. Their response was "we have the best pizza in town. Very surprised at the high rating. My order must've been a one off. My garlic knots and stuffed meatballs were served absolutely cold. Not like hot then cooled off, like straight from the freezer. The pizza was excellent. I tried a NY style "Gangster" Large ` 18" and it was truly the best pizza I have had in Oregon. I will try the Detroit style next week. 10/10! Came from Medford to try because i heard wonderful things. Had the Catalyst pizza and the Cheesesteak, the pizza was baked perfectly, the toppings had lots of flavor and hit every note right. The cheesesteak is what blew my freaking mind. I've never had one so good. No joke. The cheese... i'm not sure what kind it is but it's perfect for that sandwich! The meat and onions were perfectttt too! I will be stopping by whenever in GP. What i really enjoyed as well was the garage we had to sit in while eating and having beer. Old arcade games, good company, and perfect seats. I suggest eating there! read more

Wow! We ordered the Stuffed Meatballs and they were EPIC. Everything tasted homemade and absolutely full of flavor. I'm not going to lie, I am really picky about food quality. I've rarely met anyone that's a better home cook then myself (do I sound like an egotistical jerk yet?) and almost all restaurants leave me pretty disappointed with low quality food, lack luster recipes, and poorly trained kitchen staff. Add in price gouging and crummy service and it makes for a sad dining experience more often then not. Well, none of that was an issue here because the food was fresh and all the extra touches really impressed us. We got lucky and hit up the truck during a slow time and had food within seven minutes and were stoked on the hearty portion and great price. It's probably a good thing that I don't live in GP because I'd be here way too much. But thankfully I travel through the area enough for work that I can give my lunch-packing-skillz a break whenever I'm in the mood for fantastic Italian food. Stoked to try the pizza soon. read more

Pretty standard wood fired pizza. Better than little cesear, not as good as making your own pizza at home with someone you love.

Absolutely the best pizza I have ever had. I am not usually a crust lover but they have changed my thought of the perfect pizza. This crust is to die for. Like their shirts say, "You Have to Trust the Crust". Great flavor and perfectly crisp and tender. The toppings are delicious and fresh!! Everything is amazing. We also had the Parm wings that were delicious. We were staying with family and tried it on Tuesday and had to go back on Friday for a second round. Skeeter has the best food around along with his unbeatable customer service. You have to try this place!! I can't believe there is not a line 20 people deep. I had probably the best pizza I've ever eaten in my life. It was fantastic. It's a food truck but the food is awesome. We were walk up customers and even though they were telling phone orders that it was an hour backup to get a pizza, got ours in 15 minutes (as they promised us). Great friendly service. Best food in a long time!! We stopped for lunch and had the Fuego and a cheesesteak. Both delicious but the Fuego was outstanding. My daughter left her sunglasses in the adjacent arcade area and when I called later they went out of their way to find them and hold onto them until we returned later that evening. So of course had to try the pizza and the Buddha bread. Absolutely delicious- no pictures since we ate it up! Happy diners and a very happy little girl to get her glasses back. read more

This is the best wood fired pizza I've every had. Amazing that it is prepared from a food truck. Great toppings and a wonderful crunchy and tasty crust. Great sandwiches, gyros and wraps served with pickled cucumbers and seasoned chips. Prices are reasonable. We order take out from Catalyst at least once a week! read more
