The food is consistent and of high quality, the menu is inventive and the service is excellent. We've tried a variety of pizza and sandwiches and each time they are excellent. Ordered cheesy garlic bread and a large pepperoni pizza from this food truck, on the grounds of a brewery. We were passing through Grants Pass on the 5 and we were 60 miles away, they said they would time it to come out of the oven when we arrived. They did, both were first rate, kind of a wood fired crust on the thinner side, but the sauces cheeses and toppings were perfect. Definitely doing this again next time we're passing through, as it was a quick easy trip off the freeway, and then back on the freeway going southbound, probably just as easy going northbound, but I can't swear to that. read more

Excellent 'take out' ! The BBQ chicken & Bacon pizza ("Escape from NY") & stuffed meatballs were sooo delicious!

Finally a pizza place here that serves amazing food. My mom and I went to check it out and loved the place, they even have an arcade room. Perfect old school pizza parlor style. Mom and I ordered garlic knots and The Catalyst OG (deep dish style), the knots showed up first and let me tell you they were delicious. The dipping sauce wasn't just a marinara it had a little something extra and we couldn't get enough. Then the pizza arrived and it was delicious, thick with so many toppings. Of course we couldn't finish everything so we got a box and a little extra dipping sauce and headed home. That's when my husband found it and we had to make sure he didn't eat all of our leftovers. We will definitely be back and ordering them from DoorDash. If you haven't tried Catalyst, you are missing out! read more

Best Pizza in Grants Pass hands down. As someone who grew up in NY and the east coast, i'm a bit of a pizza snob. Crust can't be to doughy, cant be to thin either. Has to have some char, but not enough to make you look like a chimney sweep when you're finished eating. Sauce has to be flavorful and not to sweet. Toppings have to be fresh and kept to a minimum. Catalyst Pizza (in the lot across from Gates Furniture) checks all the boxes and delivers amazing and consistent pizza for a very reasonable price. The wood fired oven contributes to a very Neapolitan style and taste. Fold it in half down the middle of you want to experience it like a true New Yorker!! Drool thinking about it... So good. Regular slice was loaded with cheese almost like an extra cheese. The Detroit was really good too. Calzones the size of my head. Get an extra sauce!! Definitely will go back whenever I'm in GP. We were excited to see the now have a store front. Same amazing food as the food truck with a great atmosphere to boot. I love that they have a game section and that you can order Detroit or New York style pizza. We have tried several different pizzas on the menu and we are never disappointed with the amazing quality of fresh ingredients. We recently took family here who were visiting from out of town and they loved it too. One menu item we miss from the food truck is the pub chips and beer cheese. However we love the garlic knots, and pub fries. We liked they had a water station and staff was friendly and service was great. We have always had friendly service wether we call in for a pick up order or eat in for a fun Friday night. We are glad this place is around and has turned into our go to place in town when we want pizza. read more

Ordered the Chicken Sandwich which came with kettle chips, and a slice of Pep. Hype on the sando was high, and I was disappointed. Fried chicken was soggy, no crunch. Tried the brick and mortar location of catalyst pizza this past Thursday. It didn't disappoint. We ordered the stuffed meatballs as an appetizer. Great taste and served in a rich marinara sauce along with some delicious ricotta. Sandy ordered a wedge salad which was huge and filled with lots of good stuff. We ordered a 12" NY style Salami, pepperoni and sausage pizza. The pizza was great. Just enough char in the crust to bring me back to the Bronx. The service wast and friendly. There is nothing notable about the atmosphere but it was clean and well maintained. It was a bit spendthrift but well worth the price. Will be back read more

I thought their pizza was pretty yummy, however, I don't understand the dry calzone with small dipping sauce on the side. I also did not enjoy the two hour wait until after closing to receive my pizza. The pizza and calzone are pretty basic and shouldn't take two hours to make. I probably wouldn't order the calzone again. The pizza is good, but I'm not sure I'll be ordering very often due to the extreme wait time. For some reason they put blue cheese on the pizza instead of ricotta. Not sure what happened there. It tasted fine, but wasn't what I ordered. read more

FINALLY something worth craving! We moved to the area about a year ago and have been looking for "that place" we can get some delish, unique food and this is it! Moving from an area with endless opportunities of food, it's been a bummer that we haven't found anything great yet. Tried a bunch of places people have suggested and the food has always been sub par or just not to our standards. Tried their pizza yesterday-I for the Bhudda bread and man, very different and VERY good. Hubby is a total pizza freak and he loved his pizza too. Had to go back for more today and got a philly and it was a 4 out of 5. Kettle chips with parm on top was a nice unique twist too. Overall, happy this place is in town. Excellent food!!!! We were visiting family in town and so glad we found the catalyst. We ate here twice in our 4 day trip. It's a must try!!! My husband and friend claim this is the best Philly cheesesteaks they've EVER had. That's saying a lot we've had them from all around the US. Calzones are a treat of yumminess, the crust and wonderful toppings made it one of the best I've had, we actually have fallen in love, can't wait to come back and try the wings and gyros. Oh and I must add the cucumber and fresh chips added such a perfect touch to the love in the food they served. Had the best wood fired pizza I've ever EVER had Thurs at Catalyst Pizza. My friend and I split the Pile it High pizza, Greek salad and an awesome layered pnut butter mousse/chocolate ganache/chocolate cake dessert. We ate in their very comfy/cozy open air warehouse adjacent to food truck. Everything was extremely fresh, and so mouthwateringly satisfying and delicious. The variety of toppings makes me so happy. Love the crusty crust, perfect ratio of sauce/cheese/toppings. Very Friendly and fast service. I can't hardly wait to try other menu items like the other unique salads, diff kinds of wings, calzones, and all the other pizzas, plus the Smack your Momma, over the top scrumptious desserts. Hands down, the absolute best pizza in southern Oregon. We usually get the four-cheese NY-style and then add bacon and mushrooms as that's our favorite for pizza toppings. The NY-style reheats great if for some reason there's any left over. And the sandwiches. My goodness, those are fantastic too! I'm torn between the Bathtub Gin and the Run Away Jim as my favorites. Waited over an hour when they said it would only take 45 mins. When I went up there, they said it would actually be another 20mins because someone must have accidentally hit that the pizza was done and they never actually made it. While I was in there they had messed up other orders giving them a coupon for another free pizza and a beer for their wait. They did not do that for me. Finally after almost an hour and 20mins of waiting I got my pizza. The pizza was flavorless let they forgot salt, herbs, and really anything that would make the pizza not taste like the card board it's in. Save your money and just go to Costco.
