My husband and I found Raquel when we had to make last minute changes to our wedding plan due to COVID back in 2021. From start to finish, communication was impecable. We often spoke to her husband Channing who was extremely patient and helpful. He answered all our questions, provided helpful suggestions, and overall was super personable and professional. When we met Raquel the day of our wedding, she was an awesome bright spirit. To top it all off, the food was not only delicious but absolutely beautiful. My aunt got catering here for my uncle's 60th birthday. The food was really good! I had the lamb chops and everything about the dish was perfect (except for the fact that there wasn't more, honestly). The salad was light and delicious, everything was well flavored. I didn't get to take photos of the appetizers, but they were really good! The menu needed to be gluten free, which was taken into consideration. I would say the one thing that was lacking was that one of the appetizers was sort of dry (it was some sort of plantain or root vegetable base, but they microwaved it and it was really chewy and stiff--not in a good way). First off, let me start by saying if you don't have a caterer...YOU NEED RAQUEL. Even if you do have a caterer, you still need Raquel! 5 stars isn't enough for her and her team! She was amazing from the very start of wedding planning. Because of Covid, my husband and I decided to wait until a few months before the wedding date to plan. We were a little hesitant and stressed planning a wedding 4 months before the date, but Raquel took all the worry from us with the very first phone call. She is a full service catering company that offers everything! Party rentals, service staff, bartenders, up until the very last piece of silverware. Anything you need, she's got it. Raquel and her husband, Channing, are so helpful and positive. Anything we asked, they both made sure it was taken care of. Her and her team are nothing short of amazing! When the day of came around, Raquel went out of her way to make sure everything went smoothly! I don't say this lightly. The florist brought arrangements and bouquets that did not match what was agreed upon on the day of. Raquel stepped in, sacrificing time out of her own busy morning to go buy the correct flowers and even put my bouquet together herself! As if this wasn't enough, she went to the reception and fixed every centerpiece and garland on the tables. The flowers turned out beautiful and even better than I had imagined. The food was incredible! All of our family and friends commented throughout the night how good the appetizers and main courses were! Not a single person was unsatisfied with what they ate that night from the appetizers, to the salads, to the entrees and sides. We ordered miso glazed baby back ribs and bruschetta(which is made fresh) for appetizers, the salmon and the white wine chicken and mushrooms for the entrees along with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Everything was phenomenal. We wish we could have ordered her whole menu! It was clear after our tasting that we could have picked any dish at random and still been just as satisfied. Raquel really outdoes herself! Thank you so much for making our wedding day even better than we could have imagined. We really appreciate all of your hard work! I cannot say enough good things about Chef Rocky and Jonai. I've been working with them since November 2022 to prepare for an event tonight, and everything they did CAME OUT PERFECT. Jonai is a wonderful pointperson - responsive, easy-going, funny, caring, reassuring. She really made everything as seamless as possible, and tried to make my life as easy as possible. Chef Rocky is not only an amazing chef, she also has so many wonderful ideas and suggestions for a fun party. I really appreciated that they are a one-stop shop. Wow!!! This was so delicious! We ate left overs for two days. :-) I ordered for about 10 people for my birthday party. Raquel delivered the food on time, presentable, with everything we needed to serve it. And it was the bomb! Especially the salads knocked my socks off. What an amazing experience! Long Read but dive in! I was planning our annual mother's week get-a-way. Food planning for this had become a logistical nightmare. Then, it occurred to me to look into catered meals. Enter Chef Raquel! We ordered meals prepared for pick up the morning of our departure. 1) The communication with the team was smooth, responsive, and easy. 2) Chef Raquel was ready (despite the early hour!) and met us at the door 3) The food was packaged beautifully and we were given a booklet with our order and instructions on reheating (with extra copies that she was thoughtful enough to include) 4) Raquel helped us pack everything up, and was kind enough to help us pack it into our truck Now, THE FOOD! Holy Cow! THE FOOD! Everything was wonderful! From the salad, to the fish that was cooked perfectly, to the condiments and sauces that were provided, I cannot say enough about the flavor profiles of each and every dish. We had fresh green beans to die for! We had the most amazing mashed potatoes (yes, plain boring mashed potatoes were elevated to amazing!). The Taco Bar with the assortment of sauces, freshly made salsas, and wonderful meats was great! I could go on and on but suffice it to say, this was truly great, nourishing food. This catered event was a big leap of faith for us. We had no idea how or if it would work out.
