I like coming here to buy freshly prepared side dishes (banchan). They have a set of staple side…read moredishes that are always available such as soy-marinated eggs, soybean sprout (kongnamul), potato salad, along with rotating seasonal options. They also offer main dishes that serves 1-2 people that change daily. When I visited, they had galbi jjim, which was absolutely delicious. As the name suggests, they do catering but you should give at least 5-7 days' notice especially during the holidays. I tried to place a catering order during Thanksgiving week and wasn't able to because they were already fully booked. If they were closer, I'd come here at least twice a week to replenish my banchan fix. Nonetheless, I always go out of my way to return!

They did a PHENOMENAL job getting the order ready precisely on time. The food was a huge SUCCESS! Our guests especially loved the Japchae, with several people asking where it was from. I mentioned that this place specializes in catering, so individual orders might not be possible. The Tempura Shrimp was also a BIG HIT and was the FIRST ITEM TO DISAPPEAR from the buffet platters. Finally, the Gangjung Chicken was DELICIOUS, boasting a perfectly crispy texture and a wonderfully balanced, savory flavor. At the end of the party, I was thrilled to have leftovers to enjoy the following day.

The entire day ran so smoothly, and we felt completely taken care of. And the FOOD... our guests are still talking about it. Truly. You know how often times wedding food is nothing to write home about? This was the complete opposite. It was genuinely delicious--like, go-back-for-seconds and thirds and fourths kind of delicious. We had multiple people tell us it was the best wedding food they've ever had. We also had them do our wedding cake, and it was honestly one of the best cakes we've ever tasted. Not just "good for a wedding cake"--actually amazing. Everything was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, which made it feel even more special. We have been raving about TMC to literally everyone who asks about our wedding. If you're planning an event and want food that people will be obsessed with and talking about long after it's over, you need to go with TMC. We cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, TMC, for making our day so memorable!

We were drawn here due to a line already formed and we just couldn't resist the urge to try out something from here! We wanted the Dino Rib, which was $45. I believe having a side of mac n cheese was included. I definitely didn't feel like the mac n cheese was anything special. There was a bit of a bland taste in the cheese, could definitely use some more seasonings. The rib was easily shared by the 2 of us but part of us both wanted more. Presentation is gorgeous, wait of the food after ordering was pretty quick. Love that there's a beeper. It just took long to order.

Full Send BBQ was full to bursting with crowds at the Global Grill Festival in Northridge, and…read moreeverything they were putting out looked and smelled amazing. Big, beefy slices of brisket, juicy ribs, and some very excellent-looking sausages. But as I had purchased a "Tasting Passport," there was only one thing I could get in exchange for my wooden coin: Mac & Cheese topped with Pulled Pork and their signature BBQ Sauce. If this was a consolation prize, trust me, I was well-consoled! First, let's talk portion size. They served this "little combo" in a pound-sized container, filling it 3/4 of the way with Mac & Cheese, and then topping it with enough Pulled Pork to rise above the rim. While everyone else at the Festival was serving truly "sample-sized" portions for their "passport" items, Full Send was giving out full meals -- and really, this was enough food for 2 people. So this gang deserves major props for hospitality and generosity, and we haven't even talked about the taste yet. So let's talk about the taste. The pork was smoky and rich, juicy with just enough fat to let you know you're eating traditional barbecue without feeling weighed down or guilty. Their sauce was more sweet than spicy, with a somewhat hefty consistency -- it was good sauce to be sure, but I generally prefer something reaching higher on the spice meter. The Mac & Cheese resting below the pork was top-notch as well, with a creamy consistency and a solid, mildly cheesy flavor that complemented the pork nicely -- a sharper cheese would have overpowered the meat, so they've made very good choices here. Why am I not giving them 5 stars? Because I need to taste the rest of what they've got to give. I know they're at Smorgasburg on Sundays, so I'll be visiting them there soon to check out the brisket and sausage. It's already marked on my calendar -- how about yours?
