Sides: hush puppies, deviled crab, and onion rings. (Reasonably priced)
Joshua R.

At first I felt a little uneasy, but once my party and I sat down we were warmly greeted by our waitress. The menu was to the point seafood, nothing fancy and that's not necessarily a bad thing. You get way more food than what you pay for, portion wise. I dare you to go home without a doggy bag! The food is grade A good! I would definitely go back to eat there again.

Watermelon rind pickles are awesome!!!!!

Hush puppies are great, but the rest of the food is seriously lacking. Had the chicken breast, but it was rubbery and overcooked....

Good food. Catfish was a bit little and hard to eat. Good place for families. Will return if back in the area. Salad bar was good.

Great traditional fish camp with good seafood and huge portions. Our favorite fish camp. The Sunday buffet is awesome but don't come late.

We arrived about an hour before close and had amazing service and great food. Everyone at our table got to enjoy the salad bar. Though it's basic it hits all of the necessary parts. The salad dressings are homemade and there two different coleslaw's and Mac salad. My niece and mom feel in love with both of them. The ranch was so delicious that I dipped my popcorn shrimp, yes my calabash shrimp into the ranch and truthfully I should've asked for a cup of ranch to go to eat my leftover shrimp with. I will definitely come back even though I'm not a big seafood connoisseur. I really enjoyed the simple salad bar and the variety on the menu. My dad also wants to try the all you can eat, but since we arrive late, it was not a good choice for us during this visit. I ended up taking the fish back & requesting the whiting. It tasted much better! The manager was very helpful & the staff that I encountered at the window was pleasant. I went through the drive- through window, but I have eaten inside before. The establishment is very clean, including the bathroom, and there is plenty of seating for a small or large crowd. I will definitely go back again.

He made a reservation for dinner and the hostesses were all super friendly and even checked in on us midway through our meal. Our sever was fabulous as well! She was full of recommendations and even chatted with us for a bit to make the experience more personable which I appreciated. We started with drinks, the complimentary bread service, and the Korean Beef Tip appetizer. All were delish! I had the "nojito" which was fabulous take on a nonalcoholic beverage. My boyfriend had the blackberry mule and the berry mojito and said they were great! The koren beef tips were cool too because they came served on a fried wonton chip with krab! For our entrees, we both ordered the special of the night which was a ny strip steak served over garlic mashed potatoes and charred asparagus. We both requested them to be cooked medium rare and they were cooked to perfection! My boyfriend subbed the sides for their Mac and cheese and brussel sprouts and enjoyed both of those as well. I tried a few bites and would agree! Finally, for dessert we treated ourselves with the key lime cheesecake and the vanilla crème brûlée. Both were amazing!! The crust on the key lime cheesecake was thick and so frickin good!! Definitely want to come back now that I've tried this place!! Thanks Drift!

Not the best experience here early on a Friday evening. D…read moreand I were looking forward to a nice evening out and had a reservation for 6p. We were seated inside at a two top with a nice view of the cove. I have been here 3 times before and always had a good experience. This evening was disappointing. We both ordered the seared mountain trout and enjoyed the calamari appetizer. We had a glass of Quill CabSav which was very good. When our order came, they forgot one of the trout entrees. She said she was sorry and would immediately put in another order and she had no idea how that happened. We decided to share the trout since it was a large portion and just forgo the second entree. When the bill came, we were charged for BOTH entrees! What's so crazy is that the last time I was here in February, the EXACT same thing happened. After our meal, we walked out on the deck and found a table facing the cove and sat down to enjoy the cool of the evening and the nice view of boats coming into the marina. Some of the Staff came out to apologize and offered us a dessert.

There was no wait when we arrived, and we were immediately greeted by the sweetest hostess, Camila . Her warm smile and kind energy honestly set the tone for the night. Never underestimate how much a genuinely nice welcome can uplift your mood! Our server, Sherry, was just as lovely -- super attentive and quick to take our drink orders . She brought out a basket of hush puppies and OMG -- I am absolutely in love. These were hands down the best hush puppies I've had in the area -- crispy outside, soft inside, and full of flavor. I could've eaten a whole tray! Once I asked for a drink recommendation, Sherry didn't hesitate to help. My husband noticed they had lobster tails on the menu, and you know I had to go for it. I ordered the lobster tail meal with a baked sweet potato on the side. My husband chose the Amberjack cheeseburger with a side of mac & cheese . While we waited for our entrées, I hit up the salad bar , which was fresh and well-kept. The veggies looked bright and crisp -- no wilted greens here! When our food came out, I was truly excited -- my lobster tail was beautifully plated with thoughtful garnishes, but the real magic started the second I took a bite . The flavor was chef's kiss -- perfectly seasoned, with just the right hint of lemon and a buttery finish. I didn't even have to reach for extra butter -- it was already that good. Later, when I spoke to the owner, I found out the secret was something called Jimmy's seasoning, and trust me, it works! My husband really enjoyed his burger -- cooked perfectly and full of flavor. He even let me try his mac & cheese, and let me tell you... creamy, cheesy, and straight-up comfort food heaven. My only minor critique: the antipasta salad from the salad bar wasn't quite up to par. The pasta was a bit overcooked and lacked the zesty vinaigrette flavor I usually look for. But hey, if that's the only thing I could point out, you know the rest of the experience was top-tier! Before we left, I asked Camila if I could speak with the owner, and she kindly introduced me to Corona (that's what the regulars call him). This man is clearly passionate about what he does. We chatted about the food, and I even mentioned how I regretted not coming in sooner -- this place had been sitting on my "Want to go" list for way too long! Corona was genuinely open to feedback, even apologizing for the salad bar issue and thanking me for pointing it out. His love for the restaurant shines through, and it makes a world of difference knowing that the owner personally cooks the lobster tails to ensure perfection. All in all, this spot is perfect whether you're grabbing a meal with the family or looking for a sweet date night. The décor is welcoming, and the ambiance matches the menu beautifully. Oh, and one last thing... I brought home some extra hush puppies and reheated them the next morning. They paired so well with my coffee that I'm honestly dreaming about going back for more. Highly recommend!
