Setting up the appointment was easy, as well as all of the pre surgical checks. They do actually test you for nicotine, so be sure to stop smoking when they tell you to. There is a little bit of a communication gap in person so make sure you clarify your questions when you have them. As for Dr. Sisto. Honestly he is a very nice surgeon. Seems rushed but he is nice and a smart guy and will answer your questions if you ask them, he's not a mind reader so just ask up front. The entirety of the staff is nice, although on the phone they can harass you a bit with the calling before surgery. I am happy with my results. And I am healing well. I will update this as I can but, I genuinely see no reason to not go here. If you can advocate for yourself and be vocal about your wants, you'll end up with good results. My scars are short maybe an inch and a half, and I have mostly been taking Tylenol for the pain. Overall 4.5/5

Dr. Toriumi initially seemed professional and indicated he could address her nasal valve collapse, reconstruction needs, and Empty Nose Syndrome once we got through the cold winter. However, his bedside manner quickly turned condescending. He appeared more focused on other patients than our concerns. Subsequent virtual follow-ups in December 2024 and February 2025 were even more disappointing. He was dismissive of my wife's symptoms, interrupted her, and ultimately refused to proceed with care. During the final call, he abruptly ended the conversation when asked about next steps. We also requested a copy of his notes from our initial in-person visit. None existed. The document we received contained zero information about or visit and his examination. We plan to file formal complaints with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and related State Licensing and health authorities. Based on our direct experience, I recommend patients seek multiple professional opinions and proceed with caution before choosing Dr. Toriumi for revision rhinoplasty or other cosmetic procedures. Just incase I look crazy or need to hide the swelling. Turns out I barely needed the mask! I had rhinoplasty/septoplasty surgery done 3 weeks ago and could not be happier. Aside from minor swelling in the tip (which can take up to a year to fully subside), I can see the shape and I'm already satisfied with results. My recovery was a little uncomfortable the first 3 days post op, but I had zero pain and only took a 1/4 of the prescribed painkiller the first day of surgery - just to be safe. I felt great with the exception of minor swelling and bruises around my eyes/nose - both painless and diminished within a week. The cast removal was 7 days following my surgery and aside from looking a little swollen, I was immediately comfortable in public and with seeing my friends/family! My overall experience to date has been 10x better than what I had in mind and I could not be more satisfied. My nose is no longer running constantly throughout the day and I feel like my breathing is more balanced! It has been life changing.
