I left it because other openings closer to me weren't until 2025. In my spare time I consulted Dr Google so I somewhat already knew what was going on. I met with the nurse practitioner and my visit was concluded in under 5 minutes. This after taking time off from work, a 45-50 minute drive, and filling out forms prior to the appointment and downloading the patient app. Could this not have been conducted via telehealth or could I have been squeezed in for a 15 minute appointment closer to my home? The NP confirmed my and Dr Google's diagnosis and the issue should be resolved soon. I just would have preferred that this could have been less inconvenient for all involved.

Did see a huge change in the staff with my visit this week and I think the new computer system that has since been adopted is playing a huge role in this improvement. I've since moved to Plainfield, over 30 miles away and would not even consider going to any other dermatologist. And while I still see Dr Glazer senior, everyone that sees Dr Alex just raves about him as well. I do my yearly screening and this year my moles on my back did have some changes that my primary pointed out as a concern. His reassuring demeanor immediately puts you at ease and he always takes great care. His assistant, Alexis, was also very gentle taking her time numbing all the locations he was going to remove. Love the fact that he compounds his own retin a lotion and Clobetasol ointment.

The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of my results and the price I paid. I had laser hair removal done here for 2 small-ish regions on my body. First of all, the first lady I had for my first 2 or 3 sessions, I think the machine was on low because it was not painful at all. Fast forward to my 4th session with Taylor, and it hurt like a b!***! (which is normal and expected). It was just a huge jump. Then I found out the lady who I had for my first 2 or 3 sessions was no longer with the company. This might have had something to do with my results (maybe she wasn't doing it right? It didn't hurt at all). My results are not that great. I still grow a lot of hair in the regions I got lasered even after 6 sessions. I know it's never a guarantee, but they promised around 70-80% removal and I wanna say it's at like 40-50%. I currently go to a new place that I left 2 reviews for already, and I already see a difference after 2 sessions, more than what I saw when I was at AH Laser. It's not really worth it here for the price when it comes to laser hair removal. I don't know what lasers they use, but that might have something to do with it, as well. I recommend trying another place out first.

First, I'll admit - I have been stalking the beautiful pictures of touched up faces on Instagram and did my due diligence research, even came here to read reviews from my fellow Yelpers. AH Laser Aesthetics kept popping up ... in a good way! The before and after pictures are real, not touched up or photoshopped. That was a bonus! The jackpot was seeing their Pre-Black Friday Week sale & I couldn't say no to a reasonable price for Botox. It was after midnight and so I wouldn't chicken out, I sent a text message stating I was interested in the special. I got a reply right away AND through some nice back & forth texting, an appointment! Walking in the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, I immediately felt it was cozy place and the staff was super friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable! I had my consultation with Andriana, an RN, and she listened to my concerns carefully. She was attentive, didn't push any services, clarified what my expectations were, and was very upfront about what I could expect. I'm a sweat-sweater - like pouring buckets sometimes out of nowhere, probably pre-menopausal (Crap! Gave away my age? ... maybe or maybe not), but I mentioned it to Andriana. She gave me an honest answer. If it's something that's consistent and worrisome, a specialist would be best to help with it. There's no guarantee that the injections of Botox at the office would cut down on it or stop it. Fair enough! I was tired of the forehead bacon, the weird wrinkles, and the tired looking brows. I went for it! Andriana talked me through every step, told me what she was doing, and it was all very before I knew it. She followed up with what I would see within the next 7 days and what to do/not to do following the treatment for the next few hours. I was a happy camper! I also noticed they do B12 shots and I'm always deficient in it, like bad deficient, so at a reasonable cost, I added that to my services. I walked out of AH Laser Aesthetics feeling good, proud to have gone XX number of years without Botox, and so happy I found the perfect place to get my first treatment! Dr. Nisha Patel is so friendly, open, knowledgeable, and has just a great aura of positive energy. Andriana is exactly the same - just as friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and positive! During my first visit, I was promised that my two skin tags and my mole will be removed during the same visit, which would be next time. I was also promised a whole body exam next time. During my first visit, I was also told that I did NOT need a biopsy for my mole that was going to be removed along with the two skin tags. During my actual procedure, I was told by the same doctor that promised the above that the skin tags or moles must be removed one at a time: one for each visit. Surprise! They also told me that all removed moles and skin tags must be biopsied. Which they did! So I'm gonna have to pay for what he originally told me not to worry about- it did not need a biopsy. Double surprise! After they removed my mole, they did not do my whole body skin exam. I felt quite disappointed after the visit. Most likely won't be using them again.

I scheduled a consultation in February, after the Doctor listened to my concerns, she recommended a Halo Laser treatment to promote collagen growth combined with BBL for dark spots spots due to aging. While she made recommendations that would give me the best long term results, she completely respectful of my right to make the decision. I was extremely anxious about a laser treatment because I had a fraxel laser treatment a number of years ago that resulted in scarring that was slow to heal. I was worried about downtime and potential damage. Dr. B told me downtime was 5 days and I am a slow healer so I was skeptical. I asked about the number of procedure they had done and they definitely had the completed significant number so I chose the Halo Laser with BBL for my face, neck and chest. I recommend Halo because the procedures are doctor supervised and the treatments were performed by a laser technician that had done over 100 procedures. My face, neck and chest were numbed and I thought the procedure was minimally painful, and the discomfort was tolerable. Included in the treatment plan were medications that would minimize related ancillary issues, i.e. cole sores, swelling. Additionally they included products to speed recovery. Over and above, I got a text message the next day, SUNDAY, to check on me and asked for pictures to see my progress! The practice followed up for the next days. I have had procedures with other doctors and couldn't even get a call back so I thought this was exceptional. True to their word, I was able to be on a Zoom call three days later. My tenacious brown spots disappeared or were significantly lightened. My eye area looks better and it takes several months to fully appreciate the benefits of collagen growth. My friend said I looked refreshed, relaxed and overall better. I highly recommend the Halo Laser and BBL treatment and this is the place to go.

I've done my research and I've compared prices for atleast a year and a half for several medical offices that provide fillers (including a plastic surgeon's office) and they all start at $550+. By chance I walked in to this office at a time they have a sale going on ($350+) and decided to get them done. I'm so happy that I did! To begin with, my consultation with the PA was extremely informative and pleasant. I did not feel pressured at all and all my questions were answered. The procedure itself took about 20 minutes from getting in the chair and out the door. She took her time and although it is painful, it isn't anything you can't handle. She was able to fix the symmetry and the downturn which is exactly what I wanted. Even with the swelling still in place my lips look amazing! I can't wait to see the final result. Their prices are very reasonable and you can't beat their hours. I'm a long time customer now and trust that the staff will do an amazing job no matter what.

The world should know that Venus closed its doors in Illinois in March/April and took all of our $$$$ with them to Florida! Like thieves in the night, they did not notify any client, stole our money, and were gone. The Venus Med Spa client model is to offer lower prices for procedures (botox, filler, etc) with customers paying pre-paid. In March, Venus closed its three locations in Illinois and took our money with them. I have called the Venus leaders, including the COO and CFO. After multiple calls and finger-pointing pointing I still have not been refunded, and although Venus has confirmed they owe me money, no one will commit to refunding me what they know they stole. If you call the Illinois locations, the phones go nowhere. A Google search makes it appear that all locations are open, which is another LIE! Venus, I don't know how you sleep at night! You know there is a lot of competition in your space, and clients travel from IL to FLA. Taking advantage of clients who were loyal to you is unacceptable, and I'm confident there is a special place in HELL for businesses who close their doors in one state while thriving in Florida and take no accountability to refund your clients.
