I have been struggling with a herniated disc for over a year. I had been to a pain dr already and had the discectomy surgery and was still struggling daily with pain. They sent me to Dr. He. She was amazing, she listened to my concerns and put a plan together quickly. She gave me my eighth steriod injection and it was done in a operating theater with nurses and medical staff around . They strapped me in for the procedure and she executed with the most delicate touch. I had immediate relief. About a week later I called to get a second shot and put this thing away. Her staff called me back immediately. Ariel was just like talking to Dr. He. They where on the same page. They both knew my situation. When I asked Dr. He about getting the second shot ASAP. She didn't give me a "Im afraid to get sued answer" She LISTENED. Understood where I was coming from. Didn't get all high and mighty when I suggested the second shot ASAP. I am writing this review because of my extraordinary experience. Upon meeting Dr, Cathy He, I was impressed by her caring attitude. She was listened so very intently of my pain issue, asking very precise questions. Her guidance was to receive a MRI, and come back to her immediately. Her discovery was that I had a disk, slightly protruding in on my spine. I was schedule right away to have a injection into the spine with steroids and other chemicals. The very afternoon of the injection, I received slight relief and on the second day, today - I feel relief of my intense pain. I can without the slightest reservation recommend her professional service. If you have pain issues, and if you would like relief - call upon her - for she is an angel sent from GOD. I am a new patient of Dr. He after moving to the Glen Burnie. She is extremely knowledgeable in pain management, actually listens to me. She is very compassionate yet professional. O was scheduled to ho out of town for 2 weeks and would not be in the area when it would be time for my follow up appointment. Dr. He actually came in the office to see me on your day off. I could not believe she would dothis for me.l, a new patient. I had been receiving treatment on Frederick at Newbridge for the past 5cyears. While they were nice they would never do anything out if their way to accommodate me, which is quite understandable. Out of curiosity I checked her credentials online and found her to be uniquely qualified. On my first visit I found Dr. He to be everything a consummate professional should be. She explained in detail how she would proceed in my treatment, beginning with a series of shots in my lower back, along with physical therapy. I was extremely impressed with Dr. He. Within the first minute of my first visit, I immediately felt as if she truly wanted to help me. Even though she was able to instantly (and correctly) diagnose my condition, she took the time to listen to me. I never felt like I she was in a hurry to leave the room and get to the next patient. She took the time to get to know me and to understand my lifestyle. From there, she selected a treatment plan that fit my needs. When performing the pain relief procedures, she was extremely professional. The directions she provided to the nurses who were assisting the procedure were delivered in a very clear and respectful manner. Dr. He listens to her patients and their family members about their pain concerns. She has incredible patient care skills and truly cares. My 77 year old Dad has been suffering from pain due to Parkinson's and Spinal Stenosis for the past 7 yrs. He visited many doctors that just gave cortisone shots, and epidurals that were not getting to the root of the problem.
