I wish that I could give less than a one star. Aside from quality of nails, everyone knows customer service at a nail salon is very important! The quality was not great, and the customer service was even worse. There are no prices listed and it was clear that the technician was making up her own prices. I am not sure if it's because she'd think I was going to tip, but $35 for a gel polish change is insane. I switch to regular polish and while I was waiting for my toes to dry, she was pressuring me to pay right now, and instead of once my toes were dry. There was no policy requiring this, and it made me very uncomfortable that she was requiring that I pay right then when she wasn't doing that for anybody else drying their nails. After going in for a pedicure and a manicure I ended up with a horrible infection in my toe. After suffering for a week out of town for week I went to the doctors. $200 later for the doctors appointment, and a prescription I got to spend the next week still in pain, soaking my foot multiple times a day and taking 4 pills a day. Went here on a whim today because my engagement pictures are tomorrow and i knew I needed to get my life togeher real quick. My friend and her mom had been going here for years so I thought I'd try it out since it isn't far from my house. I walked right in and was immediately greeted and seen. I make it there at 6:15 a lady is doing one lady's pedicure and the open sign is still lit on door is open for me to walk in only to be told no one was there to do my nails. The next day I call. make a 6pm appt and was told they were open until 7, get there at 5:55 all pedicure chairs are full and nail tech has a customer I am then told she does know how to do gel or acrylic but she never asked me what I needed done and never looked at my nails. I have been getting my nails done for 12 years and have been getting dip for 7 years. I was at Target and decided to try a new salon next door and get my biweekly dip manicure and pedicure. I paid around $60 for a dip manicure and it chipped twice within a few days. I let the first chip go but the second I called and asked for them to reimburse some of my money since I'm unable to come in to get them fixed before I leave for vacation. I get off at 8pm and can not get there in time. The manager said it's not a problem with their product or technique and it's my nails that are the issue. I said I've never had this problem and she said that it has to be an issue with my nails. Of note they didn't use the UV light and the dip is very thin. It feels bad to have someone charge $95 and then leave a tip on top of it and not be guaranteed nails that last even 5 days. Very very disappointed in how I was treated and spoken to. read more

Glen Allen Virginia.... Employees have always done a great job! Today there was a shortage of help and owner did my nails. She was irritable, short and in a hurry. Also a bit aggressive to the point of hurting and had to have been well aware but very insensitive. I will not go back there after 8 plus years...but after having her do my nails, never again. She needs to step back and re-asses herself and treat her employees better as well as take a class on empathy and how to treat people! She will eventually lose clients as well as employees! Never got a price.she cut my foot within 5 min and couldnt get bleeding to stop. The girl poured something liquid blue on my foot which still stings. I came here not expecting much since it was in a strip mall type of location, and I was instantly wow-ed walking in-- it was a decent sized place-- 10 pedicure chairs, 10 nail stations, an entire area in the back for drying stations, and ample room. Very nicely decorated with pretty glass chandeleirs from the ceiling-- it was so chic! The men and women working there were very pleasant and I walked in for a pedicure and was instantly seated in one of the massaging pedicure chairs. The prices are reasonable as well-- they have all different types of spa pedicures starting at $25, depending on what you want. I'd say that's a pretty good deal and it looked like the rest of their prices were very decent as well. Overall, I was extremely impressed. So I came here because most nail salons were closed at 7:15 and I needed my nails done for the next day. I paid $40 which is kinda high compared to my usual spot I have been going to they charge was less. I feel like the lady was going to drill my nail and mess up she just seemed like she was having some trouble staying on track. Today I went in for a full set and politely asked Cathy were they doing appointments only. She responded no and asked me what I needed. I was very disappointed after my service. My manicure nor pedicure were not thoroughly done. My nail bed was was jagged and my cuticles looked terrible. My technician appeared to be rushing and when I redirected her she appeared frustrated and continued with the procedure. The polish would not dry and was sticky 1 1/2 hours later. To make it worse I was charged $5 more than I was quoted when i first arrived. I voiced my concerns and asked to have my feet redone and polished. I've been going off and on over the past year trying to find someone in there that I like. Every time I go I am unhappy with my service but getting someone different each time. I go for pedicures and nails. I have not received a decent pedicure and each time I get my nails done they are too thick. I was in there yesterday for a pedicure and the entire time I was there she talked to the girl sitting next to her , which is not a big deal, the problem was, every time she opened her mouth to talk, which was constant, she stopped doing my pedicure . so I sat there with either my feet in the water the whole time her conversation was going on or sat there with my feet up waiting for her to do something. I was in there at 10 when they opened. That was the last time I will give them another try. I don't care if you want to talk to everybody in the place but what is the reason why I have to sit there getting no service while you talk. And then you polish my toes as if I was finished. I came into this now salon yesterday to get the dip /SNS powder. Beware they skimp you and only do 2 coats of dip and gel to finish which I have never had someone do when getting the dip. I wanted to get a clear coat and instead she then did a pink clearcoat and it was done awfully I did not like it and they were told me that there is nothing that they could do about it because "I picked out the color and I should've known it was clear in that you could see through it and that it would be pink "which I then responded I'm sorry I didn't realize it would look like this I don't like it what can you do for me they said "nothing" after me arguing with the "manager" she finally told me to come back. I come back today and LITERALLY every single one of those workers came by while I got my nails repainted and spoke in their language and looked and pointed at my nails. One lady even had the nerve to pick up my hand and look at it. Like I had done something wrong. The color I got to day was sloppily done and the workers did not care. The management here is awful and the workers do not care about the customers. I'm surprised there was even people in there getting their nails done. This is dip and cost me $44 which I have never paid so much - to top it all off they didn't do a manicure give massage or offer me a drink which ALL should have been included.
