She listened when I described my desired color as a sheer with a shimmery finish, and she found the perfect combination of two polishes to create it. She noticed my discomfort as she was working on my big toes, and she looked carefully and worked out that my toenails on each side were slightly in-grown. She trimmed them both gently, and my toes feel much better already. I had a horizontal split on one thumb, and she fixed it up with acrylic before moving on to the rest of the manicure. It blends perfectly with the rest of my nails and is sturdy with no more risk of it catching and getting worse before it can grow out. I am definitely happy with both sets of nails. This is the first salon I've been to that I am eager to patronize again.

Once it was time to do the design he says "just to let you know we aren't doing French" and then proceeds to color my entire nail. Never cut down my cuticles, left glue all around my nails, a few of them were even crooked. His attitude and vibe were very bossy and I didn't like that at all. The first being that I have never been seen right at my appointment time. I always make an appointment yet still have to wait a minimum of 10 minutes- sometimes I can see that my tech is not even close to being done so will leave for the store, come back, and still wait a few minutes. They have your number on file when you book an appointment, so its pretty frustrating that they don't simply call to give you a heads-up to show up 10-20 minutes later. It would be courteous and would waste much less of my time. I cannot recommend pedicures. I had to stop getting them done here after 3 in a row where my nails were filed down too hard and left me with nerve pain for days afterwards. Will not let them touch my feet again as unfortunately the staff has clearly not been properly educated in this aspect. Another small issue is that they do not have intake fans at the stations, so if you have any kind of filing or drilling done the powder will be inhaled by you. It is not pleasant, I don't mind it getting on my clothes honestly but breathing it in is awful. Regardless, the service is simply the best I have found in the area after much trial and error for the liquid gel nails so I deal with it.
