To begin with, I will start by saying that 1 star as a rating is way too high. If I could give less, I absolutely would!!! At the beginning of Covid, I took my GoPed in for some minor repairs. I gave it to the owner-Tim, who said, it would be "a while" because he had to get rid of his mechanic, who was stealing from him and had a bad drug problem. I was in no rush and was trying to be understanding of the situation, considering this business would be considered a small business. Nonetheless, after 3-4 months, I never heard anything back. I went to the business and it was closed, even though the business hours sign said that it opened at 12:00(noon). However, a female employee saw me and came outside. I explained who I was and my situation. She informed me that the owner wasn't there and repeated the story about the fired mechanic who had a drug problem. This employee did take my name and phone number and told me she would look into my situation and call me back. She never called and approximately three more months went by. I returned to the business and had a similar experience as before with the same female employee. Again, the business was suppose to be open and it wasn't. Tim, the owner wasn't there and again, my name/number was taken with the assurance that I would be contacted. Guess what?? I wasn't contacted. Approximately, 11 weeks ago, I went by and the business was actually open and I made contact with Tim. He said that he had sold my GoPed and claimed that they had called me numerous times and left numerous messages. I knew this to be not true as I work in an occupation that my phone is used for work/on call purposes and I've had the same number for over 10 years. I verified that Tim had the correct number, which he allegedly did. After some arguing and being told several times about the doper mechanic and now the fired female, Tim reluctantly agreed to build something for me, charging just for the parts. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up and I hoped that Tim would be a man of his word and do what he says he would, but, somehow I suspected that I was gonna be screwed on this. The next week, I went back to the business and spoke with Tim. Again, I got the song and dance about the fired mechanic and female employee. He had done absolutely nothing towards the replacement of my GoPed but claimed he would. I told him I would return in 2 weeks to see where we were on this. In the meantime, since I use a work phone-I had my secretary contact the phone company we use and order an audit to determine if there ever was a call from the business. Records revealed there wasn't ever a call from the business. When I returned 2 weeks later, nothing had been done by Tim and I again had to hear about the problem employees. This time he again claimed that they had called me/left messages, which allegedly, led up to him selling my GoPed. I told him that his information was untrue and what I had done with my work phone/audit. Tim brushed that info aside and again threw out that he would build a replacement. I told him I'd return in 2 weeks to check status. Until today, I've returned at least once a week, during what is claimed to be open business hours and the business is closed. In fact, during the last 2 weeks, I've returned 2-3 times during business hours only to find the business closed. I've also called and left messages on several occasions only to have no calls returned. I'm done as this has gone on for over a year now in total. Despite my numerous attempts to get my item or some sort of satisfaction, Tim has proven to be NOT a man of his word. I find it interesting that during my actual contacts with him, he usually claims, between numerous F-Bombs coming out of his mouth, how much of a Christian he is. If true, he certainly knows about the 10 Commandments, especially the ones about not bearing false witness and the stealing of another's property. I'm always leery when someone throws around the Christian title but their works show something all together different(leery but not judgmental). And with such people, I think of the verses Matthew 7:21-23. In essence, those that practice lawlessness will be told to depart from me(Jesus) for I never knew you! Tread lightly here Tim. In closing, I found and proved Tim to be a thief, a liar, a man with a very foul mouth and one who practices very unlawful business. I gave this business/Tim every opportunity to do the right thing and make this right but his character won't allow it! Congrats Tim...you screwed me out of my property and you likely feel good about that. However, God knows your deeds and knows your heart! He will not be fooled!! Totally unprofessional and incompetent. Terrible terrible experience. They do things to your vehicles that you don't ask for and are not on the original work order. If for some brain dead reason you decide to use them, save all your original paperwork, take pictures before you leave anything here because i can guarantee stuff will be missing. They'll say it was never there in the first place and make you pay for the replacement. They mess with your good parts, make you think they're broken, replace them with cheap crap, and keep your original good parts. They are incredibly shady and will try to rob you. Do not give them your business if you value your investments. To top it off, they'll slap their logo sticker on your vehicle at the end for "free advertising". Shop run by assholes. read more

Holy hell if there was a negative 1000 I'd press that thing in a heartbeat. Tim the owner couldn't get a 35 chain on my mini bike to save his old ass. Took him a whole week. They recently fired the guy who normally did all the work but that guys had me in and out in 30 minutes. Not making me drive 45 minutes one way to be told "I still haven't out the chain on". PATHETIC HAHA when I told him he was unprofessional he was about to stroke up yelling at me. No point in going back to that shit hole read more

This place is a scam, they knew the motor I had in my sons go-kart was rare and expensive so they did something to it where after the tune-up it got messed up a couple days later so I brought it back and they told me I need a new motor and they took the motor I had and swapped it with a junk motor....Tim the owner is a dishonest person stay away !!!! read more

I went to go pick it up and it was all taken apart in the back I asked them to just put it back together so I can take it and they tried to over charge me!!! BEWARE I wish I had read the reviews, save yourself pain and frustration and take your business elsewhere. The words by some of his former customer fit Tim exactly shady, liar, crook, thief and incompetent. When I dropped my grandsons vintage go kart motor off he said it would be a couple of weeks, after over 6 months of stalling, lying and finally chasing him down I showed up at his shop and demanded my motor back. They had done no work on my motor and it was missing parts. Tim said it was his drug addicted employee who was stealing from him must have stolen them, I feel lucky I got the majority of my motor back even now that I have to locate and purchase vintage parts from others to complete our project. About his reviews why all 1's and 5's only? My first GoPed mod is going to be "roll of Mentos" handlebars, because I'm fresh and full of life. The folks who run this shop are SO NICE. After an hour spent adopting the lovechild of a racing mower and a skateboard last week, I can say without reservation: Go here if you are a kid of any age. Everything and everyone here is awesome. Before I took off, every adult present (including the young wizard mechanic) gave me a "loving parent safety lecture" - heed these words, all who tread here. One nice thing about a scooter is: if you get the slower ones, you have a good chance of bailing into a run. Still though, they can go recklessly fast if you don't respect the throttle, so the crew will explain how to work everything, and how to keep safe on the roads. But, and I've always wanted to say this in a go kart place review: ROADS? WHERE WE'RE GOING, WE DON'T NEED *ROADS*... Shop crew, if you read this: I can't buy any more amazing toys this week, but I will be back soon to tune the GoPed into a personal mountain exploring vehicle, and start some bike and kart projects, make wishlist spec sheets with you, etc. All of my disposable income is now allocated into 2021. Great Place!!!! I bought a scooter online from a kid in Northpark area, and I believed I got a great deal because, it ran great & he had receipts stating the motor had been replaced 4 months ago. I was told the motor hasn't barely been used. I ended up taking it home, and took it for a spin. I didn't even ride a quarter mile before it blew a gasket. I took it back to the same shop and the owner charged me nothing. He knew this scooter had been abused by the previous owner, and felt for me. I will always use this place for services read more
