The GoKarting was a lot of fun here!!! I like that the lap had a variety of turns and weren't just a circle. I wasn't a fan of how the helmet smelled though and of how the smoke smelled from the GoKarts. It was my first time trying it out so I don't know if that's normally how it is. I also didn't get to try the batting cages because they were closed 15 minutes before midnight, even though they advertised this spot closing at midnight. The Laser Tag activity was a pretty big space and I didn't find it stuffy at all, which was good. The VR next to the Laser Tag though was stuffy but at least there was an overhead fan. I personally don't trust how well they clean and disinfect the head masks, that's why I didn't try it. The arcade area was pretty limited in terms of games but they're always a good activity to do as an alternative from the other activities that have lines. Didn't get to try the mini-golf or the "bowling" area due to time. I like the outdoor patio and the ambiance of the string lights when you want to get some fresh air. Lots of families seated wherever they wanted and kids had a lot of stuff to play around with. Looking to see how this spot will compete with Round1 opening up soon in the mall. The water cup station is super handy, but they didn't want to refill the waters near the end of the night and the cups also, so we had to ask at the bar. I like that there's a good amount of staffing here who were all working hard. There's a few bathrooms spread out in the place. Parking is big in the back, just gets pretty dark.

This sucks. My autistic son's birthday, he wanted to go here. But yall closed the whole facility down for a private event. We drove from Ventura for this place.. It was just 3 of us. Mom, dad and son. He has no friends, and he sees the other kids having fun but we have to turn back. I doubt M2B cares though.

Jason took great care of us tonight! Sure, take an order, deliver food, check periodically, but when coffee was ordered and he asked if we'd like cream, he added, 'Would you like an array? Or just 1/2 n 1/2? Vanilla? Hazelnut?' Aha! Options! LOVE IT! Thanks, Jason! And my chicken club sandwich? Well, when you hold the lettuce, tomato & bun, then rest that beautiful stack of chicken, provolone cheese & bacon on TOP of your side of fries, mmmmmmm...it doesn't get much better. Hubs goes back and forth btwn A) the "Street Hot Dog", which he gets as a Frank wrapped w/bacon(hold ALL toppings), but add a slice of cheese and B) 10" personal pizza with ham and cheese only. Both satisfy his bar food desires, and we appreciate that we can customize our orders. Staff at MB2 are consistently friendly and efficient. There's plenty of free parking, loads of seating inside and out, lots of family games/activities to enjoy and THRIFTY ICE CREAM! The only concern I have is the ladies restroom has been w/o hot water for awhile now, or maybe just coincidence that the couple times I've used it in the last few months this has been the case. Hopefully that will be amended soon and all will be in balance with the world - or at least another star could be added upon next update??? Cheers! "CC"

Got Thrifty's ife cream! Wasn't busy but ordering took awhile for nachos and 6 chicken fingers. Like over 20 min. And I had to do it over the phone. Maybe convenient for others but I definitely prefer speaking to someone lol. Usually much faster. I usually don't order chicken fingers but they weren't bad. The nachos were pretty good. And you get a lot. thank you!

Used to come here in my late teenage years back when it was mountasia. Here I am 30 years later still visiting! MB2 did a great job taking over. This place is fun for everyone. Family, kids, teens and adults. Plenty to do and I enjoyed my 18 hole of mini golf!

Large parking lot Very pricy Rude service No A/C ( espically in this hot heat ) Thought we could beat the heat by staying indoor at the arcade but there is no ac and it is so stuffy !! Half the games are broken and don't work. The staff are rude to top it off

MB2 was a good time. You walk in and you definitely feel the positive fun vibes throughout the place. But I did have a couple issues with things at MB2 that kept me from giving it 5 stars. My first complaint was the music playing. Nothing wrong with country music. I enjoy a little country every now and then. But ONLY COUNTRY MUSIC??? Why not a variety of music for everyone. I was here at least 3 hours. And the entire time they only played country music. Got really annoying after a while. Don't understand why that would need to be the only genre played. My next issue was the whole "face sock" thing for the go karts. Everything is expensive enough. Why are we forced to OVERPAY for a face sock? They charge roughly $4 and don't even really tell you until you swipe your card. I get wanting to make a profit but this is just greed. The face socks should be free with the go karts. No need to charge us. And the last issue was the whole "showing the waiver" to the attendants. There should be a different waiver system. It holds up the lines at time because people got in line for attractions and didn't have a waiver signed. Ended up making us wait for an extra 10 minutes I had a good time but a few changes will make this a 5 star place in my opinion

The misters on the patio come in clutch on hot days

I've only ever known MB2 as an indoor go kart location so when I heard this location was a one stop shop for all sorts of indoor and outdoor family activities, I was really excited to check things out. This location has 1 go kart track with both solo & tandem karts, a mini mini golf course, bumper boats, batting cages, VR, laser tag, mini bowling, arcade, and an eating area. Like I said, it really is a place that is going to offer some sort of activity for everyone. While my son & his friends had an absolute blast running around, and the adults enjoyed the misters out in the patio area, once you went inside, you could see there were a few things that were rough around the edges. In the arcade, a ton of the games were labeled as broken. One game my son really wanted to play wasn't labeled broken, but after tapping his card twice, having points taken out, but the game not starting, we realized that one was out as well. Their indoor A/C unit must have either been broken or just not able to keep up with the amount of bodies in there because in the corner by the VR & Laser tag, they had 2 huge industrial fans blowing to keep people cool. And after running around for the 10 minutes or so of laser tag, everyone was drenched in sweat because there was little to no air blowing around in the arena. For the most part, things were working, but you could tell that the place could just use a little extra TLC and tune ups. Parking is also a bit small for the potential amount of people coming. If you get here late afternoon on a weekend, or during holidays/summer, expect to either have to circle around a bit waiting for someone to leave, or park far away & have to walk over to the building. I also want to note that while I didn't have any of the food, our party had a few small pizzas. It looked run of the mill family entertainment place pizza. Nothing special or gourmet. But the kids gobbled it up. So I'm sure if you're here with kids they won't be complaining about not having food to eat. In all, MB2 is a fun place. I definitely look forward to going back with the rest of my family & kids. However, I will be extra vigilant to make sure all tap card readers are functioning properly & plan on staying out of things like the laser tag arena unless it's a cold day when we are there.

Ask the Community - MB2 Entertainment

Is there live music here on certain dates?

How much cost is an average day?

Depends really how many people you want to bring. Each activity takes credits and each person who wants to participate must "pay" the credits. So it could range. We easily spent over $100 with just my party of 3…

Do you need to buy tickets ahead?

You do not! You use your game card for everything. I do suggest putting your name down to minimize waiting around.

I was planning to celebrate someone's birthday, can you bring outside food like cake or finger foods?

We went yesterday 8.13.22 and I saw people bring in outside food in such as pizzas, cake cupcakes fruit trays and etc. The food inside are prettt reasonable too. $3 for ice cream.

Do you still serve the Farrell's ice cream?

    They serve Thrifty Ice Cream

What are the least busiest days to go?

I would recommend the weekdays when school is in session.

Can my 3 1/2 yr old ride the karts with either me or my husband?

There is a height requirement, I think it's 40 inches if I remember correctly? Our 2.5 year old was heart broken bc he wasn't tall enough :(

Alas, I held my tongue and did not sing. I booked the bubble rollers for our backyard birthday. The ultimate social distancing activity as the balls are sanitized inside and then everyone has their own ball. We had the balls for two hours and the attendants arrived 30 min. before to blow up the balls and sanitize them properly. Attendants were only there to make sure the balls were closed after we got inside. They were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this company. Everything went really well and everyone had a lot of fun.

Magic Mountain has really stepped up their entertainment in the last few years. We've gone to…read moreHoliday in the park for the last two years and we have been blown away by how they have created such a fun and family friendly environment here at the park. There's plenty of entertainment, fun foods to eat, and characters walking around and interacting. I had a chance to speak with Mike Ostrom, the head of entertainment at the park. And he let me know that the reindeer came up with their own choreography for the slider show. I love that they let the cast be part of the creation. I will be coming to Holiday in the park every year, my children and I have an amazing time every time we go.

I have mixed feelings on the park, but I visited this park two times this year. One on Black…read moreFriday and the next Friday. On Black Friday, the park was really busy and we arrived an hour before park opens. They were consistent on opening times. I would recommend just going to the park attendant to scan the pass as the "scan license" plate only takes one car at a time and the line looks like it is running slow. If you have Diamond or the Prestige All Park Pass, make sure you ask for the preferred parking. For preferred parking, just follow the cones and once you reach the attendant, they will take the slip away and they will guide you on where to park. One thing that change is there is covered parking with solar panels. I guess Six Flags wanted to take advantage of the solar credits. Once you make it to the gate, there is a line specifically for diamond/prestige pass members on the left hand side. This will allow you inside the park first at 9:45am. Once inside, you will need to wait behind a line and at around 10:15am, they will let you inside the park where you can line up. We usually head to Full Throttle as they only run 1 train and operations can be slow. They usually open the ride before 10:30am. After our first ride, we usually get a 2nd one. The rides opening at open are usually at hit or miss. On black Friday, the rides opened at around 11:30am and there are some rides that were closed this trip 1. Goliath - doing a paint job 2. Apocalypse - doing a refurbishment - they need to retrack the sucker 3. Superman - not so sure if this ride will ever open During the first Friday we went these were closed, but opened on the following Friday: X2, Ninja, Justice League and Riddler. For the Black Friday, you would think they would have most of the rides open as then lines ended up being 90 minutes or longer and the food lines were longer. On the next Friday, it was not so busy as the longest line was around 20 minutes which was awesome and got to ride a lot of rides. For Holiday at the Park, it is cool to walk the park at night. But dress up accordingly as it will get very cold. I highly recommend not riding roaring rapids at night as I got my pants and shoes soaked. The Jet Stream, not too bad, but I recommend riding Lex Luthor at night on both sides as the lights are awesome to see. The ride up is cold, but highly recommend. But yeah I would highly recommend taking an hour to do a full walk around the park at night time to take a look at the lights. Also, the DC characters do come out randomly and the looney toon characters come out near the front of the park. We did see Christmas characters come out and they do performances as well. They sometimes have a rock concert near Full Throttle. Food wise, I would recommend getting the Dole Whip. The ice cream is not icey and creamy now. This compares to the Disney one and I will always get one if I get to visit now. Food has been the same as last year though, hopefully with new leadership they will have better food. Here are the rides and my quick assessment as I rode most of them this time around 1. Full Throttle - this line is slow and long due to only 1 train only running. If you have a skip a line, use it on this one 2. Twisted Colossus - must ride, they were running 3 trains. Lines do move fast 3. Goliath - closed when I went, but I usually ride this one when I go 4. Batman - they maintained the ride well on this one. This one ran smooth 5. Wonder Woman - definitely a ride. They have free lockers and if there is no one in line easy to reride again. This is good when the park is dead. Can easily reride many times. Crew is nice 6. Riddler - this one got rough and lots of head banging. I got a headache 7. Gold Rusher - kids ride, but really rough 8. Crazanity - I skip this one as you can ride this at other Six Flags parks as this one gets a crazy line 9. West Coast Racers - line moves slow due to how the process is, but this ride has grown on me. Get rid of the comfort collars 10. Lex Luthor - must ride, it is one of the easier rides at the park 11. Jet Stream - they need to put more water as the boats rattle a lot and ride is rough 12. Roaring Rapids - fun ride, but your legs do get wet. I rode this 2 times and my feet and legs got wet 13. Tatsu - this line moves slow and has long lines. I usually skip this ride as this one gives me a head ache 14. Viper - skip this one for me as it is rough 15. X2 - used to be my favorite ride, but this one gotton a lot rougher that I need a breather after 1 ride 16. Revolution - this one is not too bad. The new trains make the ride smooth. I did not ride it this time around. 17. Ninja - not too bad I like to ride this once Overall an okay experience. Lots of what they can do better. At least they had rides open during the 2nd visit. Hopefully next year will be better.
