Moses was a bit busy with a few things but when he got to me, after recommending an extra $5 for a metal valve stem (which is also 90 degree bent so easy gauge reading and air pumping!), got it swapped out in less than 10 minutes. I was charged I believe $25 flat total. Again, great experience overall, and I wish the best for his business. Will continue to come back here as a regular. I also recommended RoadRace to my buddy too as he has cycled through a few bikes and needed new tires for his track days and this is now his go-to spot for all his wheel needs.

I keep at it for days hounding them. They finally admit it's lost on Wednesday. I call powersportsmax and leave several voicemails, no response. So I file a dispute and demand refund from my CC company. On The following Friday, 1 week after supposed delivery, they say they've found my package and are able to delivery on 3/19/2021. So I say sure, why not. I've waited this long, what's a few more days. Same thing happens on the second "delivery date". I call the shipping company and go to town on the poor bastard responsible for talking to customers. Now they say it will be delivered on 3/22/2021. I'm not holding my breath, if it not here at 3pm I'm refusing any shipment and will gladly file suite in small claims court. The only reason this is a 2 star review is because I know the chinese bikes get a bad rap, but they're good beginner bikes if you're mechanically inclined. They're easy to work on and last a long time if you take care of them and DON'T LET THEM SIT. They're carbureted, so the jets get plugged in weeks.

The store is always inviting , especially after the remodel, and the sales team are not like car dealership vultures, following you everywhere you go. But if you had a question there was always someone ready to answer them. So with all my past visits I would take note how different sales personnel interacted with customers. Then I bought a Harley in 2023 and started logging my mileage on my motor at Laidlaws which requires interaction with the staff. So when I finally decided to trade my 2023 motor cycle I knew who I wanted to work with. And I was not disappointed! Mickey is a 'no pressure' kind-of salesman. He calmly answered my questions. No eye-roll, sighing, condescending comebacks. I had his full attention. I was torn between three bikes. When I narrowed it to what I thought was 'The One' he wrote up the offer and took it to the boss. As I waited I knew the one I picked was not what I really wanted. I was 'settling' for it for the bells and whistles and lower price (pre-owned). It wasn't the color I wanted. When I told him this, without hesitation, he offered to write up another offer on the new motor I originally went in for. His calm demeanor helped make this purchase a pleasant experience. Not once did I feel like walking away from the process. In fact, it didn't even feel like a process. It was just 2 guys sharing information as we talked about 'motorcycle life' stuff. TBH I was more bummed out about the bike more than the injuries. Insurance reached out and highly recommended the AWESOME team at RPE Motorcycle. After doing some review reading with both HD and RPE, I decided to pull the trigger with RPE. They had glowing reviews from a bunch of people who decided to go this route rather than the dealership. When my bike was picked up, I had to pleasure of meeting Rob. He assured me the bike would "come back SO MUCH BETTER than what it was." He and his team updated me every step of the way, from when parts came in, options for alternative parts, or even if there were any delays in shipping. CONSTANT COMMUNICATION! When I finally got the call that the bike was ready (so much faster than I expected), I rushed over. Rob was there to hand off the keys and we went through what he and his team had done with my baby! It's really not a wild concept to comprehend. It would be nice to be able to adjust the cable longer or shorter as necessary. I left a sample set of cables with notes with them for 2 weeks before being asked to return to go over the notes. They know I'm not close by and I want 10 sets of cables so I make the drive. I'm confronted by 3 of the genuinely most dumb people I've encountered in LA. They're in the business of making and selling custom cables and they can't comprehend that the cables need to be a specific length. In the past I've sent my assistant to avoid them but he refuses to go back, an associate and a friend warned me about them before going and I've been extra patient accordingly - it's the only cable manufacturer I can drive to, albeit a 40 minute journey. This is my 4th time there and it's just unbearable. I cannot urge you enough not to waste your time. There are other options for custom cable manufacturers. This place is not the answer.
