    Let me just start off by saying that I am overwhelmed with happiness after my experience at Causeway. My parents live down in LBI-I live up north by school. We have been searching for a reliable car at a good price for the last couple of months, as my old car was on its way out. Causeway is conveniently located by my parents house, so when my parents went to causeway to check inventory. There was a Ford Fusion they had seen on the lot-I had seen it online, and after seeing it in person I was in love. Greg was a TREMENDOUS help over the phone, as I could not get down there same day. He worked with us for pricing and ensuring that the monthly payment was comfortable for us. Before we had even arrived, Greg had several cars in mind that he had wanted to show us that he believed would be perfect for what we were looking for. Since this was my first car purchase, the staff made everything the experience someone would want to have-whether this be your first car or 10th. I can't express enough how happy both my family and I are with the experience we had and how courteous the staff was from Greg, to Chad, and Mike in financing. At the end of the night, there was an issue with my insurance company, and Chad and his manager (who's name escapes me right now, I'm sorry) sat with me after hours to make sure everything was straightened out, and that I could drive the car off the lot that night. I am beyond grateful for the customer experience I had at Causeway. Every single employee in that building was friendly, attentive, and patient. I found the car of my dreams, and I found a dealership that will be home to my family's Fords for the rest of our relationship with them. If you are looking to buy a car that Causeway sells, I would 110% recommend coming to Causeway for the absolute best experience. And I will say this too-part of buying a car is not only on the dealership's end and the associate you are dealing with. It is also about being a good customer. Patience and understanding is important on the customer's end too, especially in a process such as buying a car. As someone who also works in sales, I can say that attitude and demeanor have a huge impact on your experience with someone-no matter where you go. Thank you Greg, Chad, and everyone else at Causeway for giving my family the experience of a lifetime.

I contacted Causeway Honda for an appointment to bring in my mom's CRV for service. Their website was pretty easy to use to schedule the oil change and B service. In fact, I was able to drop it off later that afternoon. When my mom and I dropped off, I spoke to Matt and was assured that the technician would do a multi-point inspection in conjunction with the service that was due. We hopped across the street for lunch, and as we were finishing up, my phone rang. Matt said there were a few other things on the CRV that needed attention. I went back across the street to the service bay. Matt and the technician were kind enough to point out (while the car was on the rack) exactly where the vehicle needed attention. We had a leaking axle seal, leaking and overdue transmission filter, original drive belt needed replacement, and the air and cabin filters were both past due. Matt and I discussed how best to address the overdue maintenance items, working with me to make sure that my spend in the service department would address the most urgent and impactful items. Matt also offered that Causeway would be able to get the parts and complete the services in time for the next morning. The car was ready, right on time the next morning. Thanks Matt for helping get my mom back on the road and helping me worry about one less thing when I was out taking care of my mom.

    My 2024 Camry needed a rear brake caliper less than 3,000 miles after Gateway Toyota serviced the…read morebrakes. Draw your own conclusions. I have been a loyal customer of Gateway Toyota for the past 2.5 years and own a 2024 Camry. Unfortunately, my recent service experience has caused me to lose confidence in their service department. In April 2026, at approximately 64,000 miles, Gateway Toyota performed rear brake service on my vehicle. Less than two months later, at around 67,000 miles, I began hearing a grinding noise when braking and brought the car back for inspection. After waiting nearly 3 hours for a diagnosis, I was informed that the left rear brake caliper needed to be replaced. This was also the first service visit where I did not receive the usual mechanic video inspection that Gateway Toyota typically provides. When I asked why no video was provided, the service advisor could not give me an explanation. I expressed my concern to both the service advisor and Service Manager Eric Mahan that a rear caliper requiring replacement only a few thousand miles after a brake job seemed highly unusual, especially considering that their technicians were the last people to service that area of the vehicle. Rather than providing an explanation for why the caliper failed, I was told that calipers are considered wear-and-tear items. Gateway offered to cover labor but insisted that I pay $408 for the caliper and bracket, while denying any possibility that the issue could be related to the prior brake service. What concerns me most is the timing of the failure, the lack of explanation regarding the missing technician video, and the unwillingness to take responsibility for a component failure that occurred shortly after their brake work was performed. I encourage anyone using their service department to carefully review repair recommendations, ask detailed questions, and consider obtaining a second opinion when significant repairs are recommended shortly after previous service.
