Vienna Dog and Polish Sausage with grilled onions and green peppers and fries for both!
    Ahmad W.

I ordered my food through Uber Eats and the food is delicious. Very good price point and your dog and or polish sausage comes with fries not all places do this for real. The Vienna Dog and Polish sausage comes with grilled onions on top and they're green peppers on side. I really don't care for spicy stuff but you got to bite a piece of the pepper after you taste the dog or sausage it's a flavor explosion. On 9/13/2025 I ordered my food. This is a Chicago staple I believe pull up and support it's worth the trip.

Only decent tasting prepared item was the tamales

It's a cool little spot to get a budget meal. Excellent for late night meals too. The food is cooked free to order.

Baltic deli did not disappoint in the slightest. Everything was so fresh and delicious, the pierogies were perfectly pillowy. The service there is truly amazing as they were out of some of the cheese and potato pierogies when I arrived, but they quickly made a fresh batch to order for me. Outside of the counter service, Baltic deli also has a great market where you can purchase goods to prepare your own meals at home. This place feels so authentic and brings a new meaning to comfort food.

After going to the Atlanta Christkindl Market and trying pierogis for the first time and falling in love with them, I wanted to find a spot that actually sold them in store. The lady behind the counter explained all the food available to us so service was very friendly. There are a small number of tables for seating, so the ambiance inside is not loud. We got the Pierogis (Meat & Potato + Cheese) and Cucumber Salad. I loved the potato and cheese pierogis! I got them with caramelized onions and a cucumber salad on the side (there were other salad options), which had a nice dill dressing on it that paired well with pierogis. The pierogis were really soft and chewy, which I think is how they are meant to be made, but I wish the pierogis were a bit less doughy for my taste bud preference. My friend really liked the pierogis with meat, although I am not sure what kind of meat was used. This is a really quaint eatery! I think if you have not tried Polish food, then this is the place to go. I will say it was a bit pricey? Almost $16 for five pierogis (albeit they were large and filling) and a side of salad. Overall, I would probably rate this place a 4.5/5 stars if I could.

The service was amazing, especially María, who truly went above and beyond. She was incredibly kind and made us feel at home the entire time. It felt like no matter what we needed, she was genuinely happy to help, and that's something you really appreciate when dining out. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a great atmosphere, especially at night. It's perfect for celebrating a birthday or going with a group because they have a QR code system where everyone can pay for their own items. No splitting checks, no awkward math, just super easy and convenient, especially for larger parties. Food wise, everything we ordered was delicious. I shared a charcuterie board with three friends and it was really good. We also ordered the tuna carpaccio, which was amazing and came with natural potato chips that were honestly a 10 out of 10. We ordered a pizza as well, I don't remember the name but it had mushrooms and it was so good. For drinks, my go to cocktail is an espresso martini and even though it wasn't on the menu, they were able to make it for me. It was perfect, with a strong coffee flavor, which I personally love in an espresso martini. Overall, Ecco Midtown was an incredible experience. Amazing food, amazing service, and a great atmosphere. If you're looking for a great place to celebrate with friends and enjoy good food and cocktails, this is definitely a great option.

If there's no line at a restaurant in an airport, it's not because you discovered a hidden gem. It's because everyone else already took the bullet for you. Welcome to my experience at KoHo in Terminal D. I went in optimistic. Kolaches sounded like a win. Quick, easy, hard to mess up. That optimism lasted exactly one bite. The egg kolache came out looking innocent enough, then immediately betrayed me. The pastry was bland. Not "could use seasoning" bland. I'm talking cardboard that went to finishing school. The egg inside was undercooked to the point where I had to tap out. Not negotiable. Not edible. Round two was their take on a pig in a blanket. Slight improvement only because the pastry absorbed some flavor from the hot dog, which is not exactly a culinary strategy you brag about. The hot dog itself made me nostalgic for gas station roller dogs. You know the ones. Sitting there all day, somehow still a better decision. Halfway through, I had that moment of clarity where you realize you paid real money for regret. Just when I was ready to slam this place with a one star review and move on with my life, plot twist. The sides saved them from total disaster. The potato chips were actually excellent. Crisp, flavorful, did their job. And the bottled water? Elite. Absolutely nailed it. No notes. At some point I realized I just paid airport prices for prepackaged items I could have grabbed anywhere and avoided the kolache trauma entirely. If your best items are sealed before they reach the kitchen, that's a sign. Two stars, and that feels generous. Pro tip: keep walking. There are pizza slices and bagels nearby that won't make you question your life choices. Give this place a wide berth and let the empty line tell you everything you need to know.
