Excellent food. I ate here 3-4 times in the last few weeks. The meals had so much fresh flavor! Cava uses real ingredients like black lentils and awesome greens! The Harissa Chicken is my favorite. I like that you can order online and pickup, deliver or carry out. I love that this is my answer to fast food. In all fairness, if there was a rating below a 1 star that's what this restaurant should get. The staff are extremely rude, I've seen all the other reviews, the person responding to reviews offers to help but those have been months past and the service has yet to change. I know there's someone corporate sitting in a chair responding to reviews trying to make people feel better about their experience, but the problem is nothing ever changes and no one fixes the problem. The service is beyond the rudest I have ever experienced in any restaurant and the environment is very very unwelcoming. I went in for an order and the portion sizes they scoop are off of a kitchen spoon and the server gave me half a spoon, mind you that's 3 tomatoes IN A BOWL. I'm paying 18$ for a bowl of food that isn't even remotely half full. The register had an issue this same day and the person checking me out tried to blame me when I could clearly read it was a machine error, on a separate occasion I wanted white rice and chicken, but they are always OUT OF EVERYTHING. I offered to wait and the server said NO in the rudest tone I have ever heard. I have seen all kinds of service in the many restaurants I have been to and this is by a long shot the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I understand running a restaurant is not easy but it also isn't hard to just be nice and friendly and respectful to your customers. I think this entire staff should be rid of this place or the entire restaurant should just simply be shut down. If it's that difficult to hire nice kind staff members your restaurant should simply be shut down. As far as the food, the rice is ALWAYS under cooked, the chicken is ALWAYS fatty and clumped together. I'm not the type to complain but this place is absolutely the worst restaurant to eat at and I would simply steer clear of ever eating at this location! Cava is so good! I kept hearing great things about this place, but just now went, because Mediterranean food is not my favorite cuisine. Well, Cava might have changed my mind. I dined here for lunch last week and this place was popping! Even though the line was long, I got served pretty fast! I wanted to try their pita bread, so I ordered the create your own pita. I added grilled chicken, romaine, cabbage, tomato, onions, corn, and pita chips. They also spread hummus on the entire inside of the pita. Yum! I got the garlic dressing on the side. This place is not cheap by any means, but I have to say that I was impressed with the portion size and ingredient quality. My pita was huge, filled to the brim with fresh ingredients, and tasted great! I ate my lunch so fast, because it was that good! I am already planning my next trip here! read more

CAVA is the Chipotle of Mediterranean food. It's a fast-casual, build-a-bowl restaurant that focuses on fresh food and great flavor. You begin by choosing between a bowl or a pita. Once you choose, you pick your base (grains or greens -- and there's several of each to choose from!). You can then choose up to three dips, my favorites so far are tzatziki, hummus, and harissa. Next you choose your protein. They offer two types of chicken, two types of meatballs, lamb, falafel, roasted veggies, or white sweet potato. I love that they offer more than one vegetarian option! Plus, you can mix and match proteins, so I ordered Harissa Honey Chicken and Roasted Vegetables for my bowl. After the protein, you can to choose endless toppings, like feta cheese, onions, corn, avocado, the list goes on. Lastly, you top off your dish with a sauce, which again, there's plenty to choose from! If you don't want to BYO, they also have chef's specials to choose from that are already customized for you (I recommend the Harissa Avocado Bowl!). The food is so delicious and so fresh. I would eat here just about everyday if I could. They also have delicious teas and juices, as well as craft sodas. Something has changed here for the better! We've had so many issues with the food quality and mostly the service in the past. We visited last weekend and had a great experience! Well I'm honored to be the first to review this place. If Chipotle had a Greek cousin who's whole goal in life was to one-up everything they did, it would be Cava. I got the basmati rice bowl with the lamb meatballs and chicken and it was amazing!! I couldn't believe this was opening day with how busy it was and how smooth everything flowed!!! The toppings you can get are amazing, as are the sauces. Their soda fountain was really cool also in the fact that they didn't have Pepsi or Coke products, but their own!!! Their Mexican cola is amazing! The chicken was tender, and the meatballs had an amazing flavor. I would have been happy with just a bowl of them and a side of their tzatziki sauce (which is amazing by the way). For anybody who might have trouble finding it at first (like I did!) they are in the same storefront that Zoe's kitchen used to be in. I was shocked to read that Zoe's Kitchen is now closed and replaced by CAVA. Cava is touted as a "Mediterranean Chipotle" restaurant that offer salads and pitas. For my first order I decided on Greens and Grains Salad option with base of Splendid Greens and Saffron White Rice adding falafel and grilled meatballs. I picked three dips: Crazy Feta, Roasted Eggplant Dip, Tzatziki sauce and topped that with Pita Crisps, Crumbled Feta, Lentil Tabbouleh, and Tomato & Onion. The two dressings were Lemon Herb Tahini and Skhug, which reminds me of Chimichurri sauce. THIS WAS THE BEST SALAD I HAVE EVER EATEN!!! Burst of fresh flavors! I wish I had ordered a second bowl as it was that good!!!! The salad was nothing like what I had eaten before. This is far better than any restaurant offering healthy salads. And the BOWL was huge and deep like a volcano! It was worth money spent!!! Can't wait to try CAVA again soon!!!! read more
