My coworker owed me lunch, and I decided to finally try Cava. We arrived at around 11:45 and were waited on promptly. The ladies behind the counter were pleasant and answered my many questions patiently. I went with a Greens and Grains bowl with the Harissa Chicken and all my favorite toppings. The one thing I wish they had was "regular" black olives, in addition to the kalamata. At the end of the line, I topped it off with the Hot Harissa dressing and sat down to eat. I was beyond pleasantly surprised. All the toppings tasted fresh and clean, and the Hot Harissa dressing was making my neck hairs perk up a bit! It is spicy but overbearingly so. The ambiance is a bit nicer than it's Mexican cousin, and all in all, I will be sure to come back! read more

Customer service is terrible here. Unfriendly employees. They give you the smallest scoop of rice and greens which is rediculous when I'm paying over 15$ for a bowl. When you go down the line they make it very clear everything is extra cost. I asked for avocado she literally scooped the whole half avocado in my bowl. Didn't cut it up or nothing. Just lazy. I asked for the free pita bread that comes with the harissa bowl online and she said it doesn't come with it. I definitely won't be back to this location. The food is good though! read more

The inside is bright and clean and makes you feel comfy to dine-in. We went in as a party of two (high 5 for adult time)! We both ordered chef-curated bowls. I had the chicken sate bowl and hubby had the chicken and rightrice bowl. He changed his bow by removing the feta, adding olives, and putting the dressing on the side; he thought his was good. I decided not to mess with the chef's vision and *LOVED* mine. Literally, it was so good I'd come back and order the exact same thing. We both ate the entire thing and left without feeling stuffed. I left completely full. Hubby left satisfied but not full. The chicken was clearly grilled but still moist and flavored (probably marinated) really well. As I was eating mine, I commented that my 3yo would probably like it. The pictures probably don't look half as appetizing as this actually was. I tried a limited time juice, the pineapple apple mint. It was just okay. The mint flavor isn't as strong as I'd like and the pineapple was muted by the apple cider. I wouldn't order it again. read more

Massively underrated build your own bowl clean eats. Highly recommended over chipotle

This is located in the collection at Forsyth. Came here on a wet cold day to have a salad. Probably warmer to have a soup but wanted something healthy. It's build your own pita or salad bowl. You can choose between different proteins and different toppings. Or you can choose their preset recipe bowls, if you'd like. However if you choose yourself, you can get the same thing for a cheaper price. So I would just make your own. You can always ask for extra toppings that you like at no charge. There are some toppings that charge extra for example, lamb meat, or added avocado. Most of their toppings were already preseasoned like the dips. First thing is you choose between a pita or a salad bowl. Then you choose your greens, then you choose your tips. Some of the different dips were mashed eggplant, original, roasted hummus, flavored hummus, tzatziki, and spicy Harissa. The Harissa has a nice kick, I liked it a lot. It was very flavorful. You can choose up to three different dips at a time for no extra charge. Then you choose your protein and lastly, all your toppings. Don't forget you get a free small side of pita unless you want a full order for an extra charge.. They won't give it to you unless you ask. They have brownie and cookie for dessert as an add-on. Once they make your bowl or pita you pay at the counter and find your seat to dine or take out. And then you clean up after yourself. I've been to other salad joints and this one I thought was pretty good. Everything was well flavored in seasoned. But these salad places can get pretty expensive with all the add-ons, both our salads came out to be $30. The bowls that the salads come in are not that big compared to Salata. I can never finish my salad there because it's so big. I know great healthy place to eat. read more

Hummus where the heart is! I first tried CAVA in North Carolina and loved it, so I was excited to hear a CAVA opened near me. It occupies the space that once was Zoe's. The restaurant is open and has plenty of seating, including outdoor. Clean and bright. Nice modern decor with pops of yellow. I was greeted immediately. The staff was helpful and patient with me while I tried to decide what to order. I ordered the following: Lentil Avocado Bowl Chicken + right rice So fresh, flavorful, and filling! I couldn't get enough of my lentil avocado bowl and surprised myself by finishing the entire thing. Hubs ate half of his chicken + rite rice bowl then saved the rest for later. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Will be back soon! read more

Super disappointed in this location experience. CAVA is my go to lunch alone while on the road. First, I wanted just 1 extra falafel and was required to purchase a whole order. I asked for the super green mix and black lentils as my base. Lentils were horrendously under cooked. In my salad mix, I got the core of the cabbage head. It was literally the side of my hand. The food at Cava is delicious, but everything about this location is infuriating. We have ordered online and picked up food here multiple times and we have honestly NEVER had a good experience. Some of the issues have been: We've wated more than 30 minutes for an order, lentils are undercooked or even unavailable, the place is understaffed, portions are inconsistant. Today I paid $14 for a bowl that is missing two ingredients, missing the extra pita I paid for and the bowl is about half full. This location is giving Cava a bad reputation. As much as I love their food (seriously, I'd eat it daily if I could!) I don't think I can continue to spend my money here. read more

I don't think I've ever gotten thru the food line without either being rushed (no line behind me or online orders to fill), being sassed by the staff, or just met with an unpleasant attitude. If you are only at CAVA to try out a new restaurant, I would recommend going to their Alpharetta location where they are super nice and friendly. This was my third time trying to this place. The first time was good, the second time they did not have several ingredients for my Greek chicken wrap, but they did not tell me until after I placed my order and they started to make it. There was one person taking orders and making the food in front of you, it was one person at the cash, register checking people out, and there was one person in the back, and I assume they were cooking. They were busy because of a high school homecoming in the area. I had already stood in line close to 20 minutes and I did not want to go anywhere else. I basically ended up with a wrap that only had chicken, tzatziki sauce, olives, lettuce, and rice. They were missing the tomatoes, the onions, the pickles, feta cheese, and a couple other things for the Greek chicken wrap. Although I was frustrated, I just figured it was a bad night because they were busy. Ick, but not a deal breaker. I decided to give them another try today. I pulled into the parking lot and placed my order on their app and it noted that my food would be ready in eight minutes. I went in after 10 minutes, and my food was not ready. There were several people in line so I stepped to the side next to the " take out/mobile order" area and stood there for a few minutes. Someone finally asked me what was I waiting for and I told her. She went to the back and I guess she asked the lady back there about my order. They talked for a little while and then the first person came back to the front to help with the other customers. After a few minutes, she took a bag and some of the brown wrap paper to the back. She then came back up front by to help more customers. A few more minutes passed and I eventually got my food. I was so excited to go home and enjoy it. It was disgusting. It was a sloppy, wet, soggy mess. As you can see in the pictures the wrap was soaked in dressing and it made the bread mushy and nasty. The chicken was over cooked and my pita chips were cold and greasy. Save your money and don't eat there. Yuck. That was a waste of almost $15. Disgusting and disappointing! read more

I struggled with what to rate this place. Between a 2 and 3 for sure. I've heard great things about this franchise and I love Mediterranean type food so I had to try it. I'll start with the positive. My bowl was delicious. Everything tasted fresh and the sauces definitely taste homemade. I ordered a 1/2 and half/bowl with romaine and saffron basmati rice, grilled chicken, tomato and onion, and corn. For dips, I chose Tzatziki and harissa. And got the garlic dressing on the side. The dressing and harissa were *chef's kiss* My issues...let's see....I was supposed to get pita but didn't. The portion size is laughably small. Like omg! I was still hungry after eating. The photos Cava use for promotion have the greens coming out the top because it's so full, but the bowl was maybe 1/3 full. There was barely any rice. I don't know if it was a bad day, or if this is normal...the bowl reminded me of a kid's portion. Almost $12 for it too...just not worth it IMO. My daughter took me here and I'm so glad she did! I had the Harissa Avocado Bowl and it was fantastic. I'm not good with a lot of spice anymore so the staff were kind enough to suggest milder ways to make it. The portion size was enough for two meals. The ingredients were fresh and packed full of flavor. I wanted to try a coffee banana tahini shake for dessert and was simply too stuffed. But I WILL be back! read more

They serve bowls and pitas with assorted meats and toppings in which you can customize your meal. Pitas and bowls range in price from $10-13. I opted for the half pita, half saffron basmati rice bowl topped with spicy lamb meatballs and grilled chicken. Then I added tzatziki sauce and pickles, corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, yogurt dill sauce and feta cheese. It was a delicious combination and it's nice to have your bowl customized to your tastes. The end result was a wonderful, tasty, healthy dinner on the go. It's a great option if you're wanting to eat healthy and limit calorie intake. read more

I like Cava, but I will never go back to this location. I placed an order for carry out. This is my third visit and the customer service and food was off the charts horrible. The girls behind the counter were no where to be seen for 5 minutes. My order was sitting up on the counter waiting to be bagged. Both girls bypassed me and went straight to the line of people who were waiting to place their orders. When I finally asked if I could get my order, the girl I asked rolled her eyes a me and said it will be a minute. Fast forward to opening up the food at the house. The bowls I ordered were pretty sparse and the meatballs were of at least look raw in the middle. The black lentils in my bowl are crunchy also. I prepare mine a little underdone as well, but these are too crunchy. I hope management is able to correct these issues soon. read more
