First time here, like everyone says a Mediterranean chipotle. I had the salmon bowl from the menu, I think I expected the salmon to be better than it was, it was cooked too long but all the other bowl ingredients were very tasty. Hub had a chicken bowl he built himself. I ordered a side of hummus & pita chips. I have to say for an order at the counter & you throw your stuff away this place is very pricey. Hub got a fountain drink, I had only water & our bill was $45. Any little add on is a lot, 1/2 of an avocado is $3, the hummus & chips were close to $10, so be aware of add ons besides your entree. read more

Cava was packed when we arrived for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. We queued up to place our order but the wait wasn't terribly long. There are several bowl or pita selections to choose from, or you can completely customize your order by selecting the individual ingredients on display. I chose the Harissa Avocado Bowl. The server explained that the harissa chicken was very spicy, so I downgraded to the regular chicken. The bowl was loaded with greens, rice, feta, avocado and other veggies. The only downside was that the chicken was still too spicy and a bit salty for my taste. Overall it was very good and healthy for a semi fast food restaurant. read more

I ordered take out, soecithe Harissa Bowl with Steak and while I was longing for a bigger portion, the flavor and taste of everything (sauce, meat, and veggies) was top notch. I had a very disappointing experience. I ordered a chicken pita that was soaked in vinaigrette dressing and had barely any tzatziki sauce. The strong vinaigrette completely overpowered the flavor. I politely asked for more tzatziki, hoping it would balance things out, but it didn't help much. When I went to the front to explain that the pita still had too much vinaigrette and asked if they could make a new one without it, the cashier was incredibly rude. She wrongly insisted I had asked for more vinaigrette, which I absolutely did not--I only asked for more tzatziki. Her attitude was so off-putting that I ended up throwing the sandwich away and walking out. I won't be returning. read more

Been a Cava customer for over a year. I have semi-frequented this location and was extremely disappointed. The base options for the bowl have rationed portions, and include an upcharge if you want grains AND greens. I have never been upcharged for this in my dozens of visits, the menu says you can get "grains, greens, OR BOTH". When I asked why I was being upcharged, the staff quickly became combative and passed me on to the manager. I said to the manager, "I have a question about the bases" and was met with a similarly combative explanation as to why the sudden policy change. He insisted that "both" actually meant I could have a half scoop of rice and half of lentils... I explained that this had never been the case in any of my previous visits and was scoffed at and told that wasn't true. So naturally, I asked what the upcharge would be.. $1.40 per scoop of any base. This is nowhere on the menu, contradicts what is on the menu, and was only caught after the staff had already double scooped my bowl. Furthermore, after getting Chipotle just down the road, we looked up the pricing of bases online and found not only can I get a full scoop of rice AND lentils (as usual), but I can also get a full scoop (at no additional cost) of super greens. This is because lentils and rice are both a "grain". Needless to say, I don't know what situation y'all are in, but congratulations on throwing away two complete (unpurchased) bowls, losing two customers, all to save $1.40. Cava has easily become one of my favorite fast-casual restaurants. Similar in concept to Chipotle/Blaze, but build your own mediterranean bowl. You have an expansive menu of fresh ingredients, sauces, toppings, etc. They have some prearranged bowls on the menu, but my favorite part is looking at all the toppings that you can add! You can also get sauce on the side, but you may have to remind the staff. read more

I was disappointed the portions were small and were not a lot of menu choices. I felt like I was in a cafeteria line which was off putting but I guess that's just the business model. I asked for the chicken on my salad and got a scoop about 1/3 a cup. The spicy naan bread special was delicious but everything else not so much. read more

My husband and I loooove Cava. We originally found in up in DC when we were studying in graduate school and we were bummed to move back to Florida where there were no locations. Low and behold, a month after moving into our new home we spotted the Cava logo with a coming soon sign! We are so pumped to have this location near us. We have visited multiple times and so far food has been fresh and tasty. This visit, they were clearly understaffed but the woman taking care of my order was so polite despite being overwhelmed with customers. One star docked because they were out of a couple of dips and their soda machine had no ice however I'm hopeful they can be five stars once they figure out staffing. read more

I have become a CAVA fanatic. I eat CAVA several times a week. The staff at the Daniel's Pkwy location in Fort Myers is super friendly. The manager Christian is super friendly and knows me by name as well as what my family and I order. He is going to remind me of the items I sometimes forget. I live in Cape Coral but drive all the way to Daniel's Pkwy just for CAVA. Keep up the great work team tou all are great workers. Christian is always hard at work alongside his employees. Cava OVER Zoe's all day. I used to be a "frequent flyer" at Zoe's (multiple times a week). When I walked into Cava the staff immediately remembered me which was a great feeling. I tried Cava for the first time, the one on Commerce way. I loved it. The service was great and everything tasted fresh. I decide to go a second time to this one closest to me with my husband for him to try and it was definitely not the same standard. I ordered black lentils and they were hard like little pebbles. I could hardly eat it but I had ordered the same thing at the other location and it was soft. My husband's rice was a little crunchy. It' shouldn't be crunchy. The lady on the line was rude as well. She didn't want to make eye contact and looked annoyed while we ordered. Not sure if I want to go back. read more
