My first time visiting this location was a huge disappointment. The employees were wearing gloves but touching their phones and utensils with them, which completely defeats the purpose of food safety. They were also out of forks at both the drink station and the to-go area, and even after I mentioned it, no one restocked them. The food quality was just as bad. The cucumbers were soggy, and the lentil pan hadn't been replaced in hours. One employee even told me, "I wouldn't get those if I were you, they haven't been replaced since I clocked in at 4 p.m." It was 9 p.m. at the time. That's a serious health code violation. The floors, both front and back of house, were filthy. I was disgusted with my meal. Couldn't even finish it. Still, I decided to give this place a second chance two months later since it's the closest location to my house. Big mistake. At 7 p.m., there were no pans of rice or lentils on the main line. They were serving from the backup line instead, which made me question how long that food had been sitting there. When I ordered, I was given one small scoop of rice and one scoop of lentils. The employee told me that's the "standard amount" because they got in trouble for food waste. Apparently, this location loses around $700 a day--about $21,000 a month--in wasted food. But honestly, maybe if they served proper portions and gave customers what they're paying for, that wouldn't be an issue. I've had much better experiences at other Cava locations, both out of state and in Oklahoma. This one doesn't compare. Between the poor hygiene, lack of fresh food, skimpy portions, and terrible customer service, I won't be back. Do not waste your time or money at this location, it's absolutely not worth it.

Excellent CAVA location on the outskirts of the Classen Curve plaza in Nichols Hills - features a great selection of healthy Mediterranean bowls with feta, olives, hummus, Greek salad ingredients, gyro/steak/lamb/chicken, and more. Also awesome beverages like flavored lemonades and teas. Service at the counter is fast and efficient, and the ambiance is actually rather spacious inside. Highly recommended!

It was our first time trying Cava. I've heard people talk about how good it is. We walked in and didn't know what to do. The first worker was very sweet and patient. Luckily it wasn't busy. Then Micah and Jay helped. They were also both friendly and kind. The food was delicious! We had the shredded lamb, like barbacoa / birria. The saffron rice was wonderful. We were able to try several of the dressings which was very helpful. We had: Saffron with lamb, hummus and corn. Pita chips, all the dressings. Other bowl was saffron with lamb, tomato and cucumber, broccoli, tahini, red pepper hummus and their spicy hummus (?). The restaurant was clean and the music was the perfect volume. You could hear it in the background BUT it wasn't overwhelming. I would definitely return.

They always give me the smallest amount of EVERYTHING!! i went and she poured me a scoop of chicken and she thought it was too much so she literally took some out of my bowl. the girl who has piercings on her face and lip is super rude. i asked her to extra sauce and she rolled her eyes at me and gave me a cup of sauce literally overfilled it and handed it to me all aggressively. she doesn't look like she enjoys her job or enjoys being at work because she has such a ugly attitude. this CAVA location needs to do better. and everytime i come there is no silverware left and i have to ask them to restock.

Food - tasty, quick, different Service - did well despite obstacles Ambiance - functional and a tad noisy I ordered the honey chicken and grilled chicken bowls. No lettuce sub rice and then got a bunch of toppings on both. The food is different than other options in the area. So this is a great place to try if you want to curb away from your norm it's a good but safe choose. Flavor and quality wise it is fine. At the core of it Cava is typical fast casual aka cafeteria or buffet food. It's a safe choice. You're unlikely to be wowed or disgusted by the food. It is likeable food, not amazing not terrible just likeable. Service- was good accounting for the obstacles of noise and staff being pulled in multiple directions to handle multiple duties at once. They did well. Ambiance- very functional and clean. 100% they had tables with chairs. They had plenty of both.

This is actually my new lunch spot. I've heard a lot about CAVA, but had never been. Driving around and happened upon it. This is about my third time coming. I've had nothing but fantastic service. I usually take a late lunch so the ambience is super quiet and nice. Everything I've tried here has been good. The staff is super nice and always willing to work with me. Even letting me pay something if I wasn't sure about it.

Very flavorful and delicious! Ordered the chicken curated pita, and blueberry lavender drink. I can't remember if it was a lemonade or not. Both were great choices to try as a first time visit. The toppings are all super fresh and seasoned. Check out the their lemonade and strawberry citrus drinks as well! read more

Odd - I'm giving 2 stars because the guy tried to fix the issue, but it was a fail twice. I ordered a simple chicken pita and it arrived a soupy inedible mess. I called and the offered to re do it. Second attempt though better it's was NOTHING like the food USED to be at this place. I hope they get it back together because this was one serious sloppy drag of an experience. I ordered the Greek salad with vegetables instead of chicken and it was absolutely to die for. I INHALED IT. The arugula was the perfect addition to the salad as it provided the perfect peppery bite. The Greek vinaigrette was awesome as well. The staff member offered different suggestions for proteins because I didn't want the chicken, and I settled on the roasted vegetables because YES. They were perfectly roasted and delicious. Left very happy and very pleased. read more

We love the food but this location needs way more staff. Dinner rush only has two people front of house usually. The front line moves fairly quickly but the order pickup line is so terribly slow. Both lines really need two staff working. Regularly now my order takes an extra 15-30 minutes from when it's supposed to be ready, completely unacceptable. I understand it takes time to train and find good staff but considering how popular this location is they need to make that a priority or they will lose business soon. read more

I was so excited to hear that OKC was getting a CAVA a few months ago! I moved here from DC and loved going to CAVA for a quick lunch. We went Sunday after church and enjoyed our "make your own" bowls. Our meals were fresh, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant was well kept! Thanks CAVA crew! read more

Tried for first time today . Not impressed. Can get a way better salad and Mediterranean food at ZamZam or numerous other places. The hummus is soo bland and disappointing. Definitely won't be going here again. Save your trip and money and go to someplace that's authentic cause this isn't it. read more

Good Mediterranean food. A few things though. Tonight there was NO a/c and it was 90 out. Tje place felt like an oven-we actually opted to eat outside as inside was HOT. The poor employees. They had to have been sweltering. Also, who ever is prepping the salad needs to cut the cabbage into bite sized pieces. The cabbage pieces we got were not only huge they were discolored like they were dirty. What makes this place is the excellent employees working the line. Very pleasant and hard workers. Fix the a/c and cabbage issue and you got 5 stars. read more

Grand service for my almost deaf, 93 year old Mother. Since there is no printed menu and Mom wasn't able to go inside, one of the staff came out and explained the dining options to her. That was above and beyond the call of duty. The food was divine. I had the curated avocado harina bowl with spicy chicken....it was perfectly spiced. You are able to customize your meal with a wide variety of vegetables and sauces. I highly recommend Cava. read more

My first time visiting here by recommendation from my son. I am vegetarian and had no idea what to expect or order, but the lady and gentleman behind the counter recommended the greens and grain bowl with half roasted veggies and falafel and it was AMAZING!!! I miss Zoe's. The food here is good, but I don't know if they are short staffed or just incompetent. We've ordered carry out about 5 times and every time something is wrong. Last order, our salad had about 3 pieces of lettuce so I had to ask for more and they forgot the dressing and avocado. read more

I had the same issue as another comment just below. I love Cava but this location has issues. (Not my first issue with this location). I got my bowl with black lentils, which I've had at other locations and they are supposed to be soft like a bean or... you know.... Lentils. Mine were rock hard and chalky making the entire meal inedible. I called and spoke to a manager who told me that they were "supposed to be hard." I'm talking something like a popcorn seed. They literally sounded like dry lentils crunching when I had my first bite. A quick google search warned that eating undercooked lentils could cause intestinal issues.... Yikes!!! read more

It was immediately clear they've made a lot of changes since then, and the restaurant looks great inside. The food was still excellent, and the prices were fairly reasonable. Unfortunately, that's about where the positives ended. Our server was, for lack of a better word, odd. Maybe he thought he was being funny or maybe helpful, but he pushed back on nearly everyone's order. "I don't think you'll like the texture. It's not what you're used to. Try something else." "Don't get the döner, get the kebab instead." When one friend tried to order additional food, he was told, "You've ordered too much already!" followed by an uncomfortable comment about their weight. I tried to order coffee with my entree and was abruptly told, "After the meal! After!" I understand that Turkish coffee is traditionally enjoyed after a meal, and I actually appreciate learning about customs like that. I just don't particularly enjoy being scolded for ordering it at the wrong time. The biggest problem, though, was that one person in our group waited more than an hour for their entrée while everyone else received and finished their meals. We repeatedly heard, "Just three minutes," then "It's coming soon," then "Maybe five or six minutes." It eventually arrived long after everyone else was finished eating. The server did apologize, but nothing was offered to make up for the inconvenience. That was particularly disappointing because the food itself really is very good, and it was nice to see how much the restaurant had improved since its soft opening. We came back hoping this might become a place we'd visit regularly. Instead, we left feeling like we'd probably had enough. Great food and reasonable prices, but the service made what should have been a very enjoyable meal uncomfortable and frustrating. Unfortunately, we probably won't be back.
