Stopped in for lunch a few weeks ago and created my own bowl-which was delicious! I arrived before noon, and noticed a huge increase in traffic starting at that 12:00 hour. I'm not sure what was happening, but the staff and dining room were a bit disheveled. They didn't look short staffed, but maybe just frazzled. I had to ask for a few items multiple times, the drink station hadn't been cleaned, and there were large boxes sitting around. Parking can be tricky due to volume but save yourself and park in the back lot of the bank!

I was so looking forward to this bowl, only to be disappointed. $16 to be salty and missing ingredients is wild! There wasn't a cucumber in sight or cabbage slaw... What happened!? I ordered ahead online, arrived a few minutes before the pickup time but I only waited a few minutes. I hope they didn't rush because I was there. They were pretty busy as it was lunch time but no excuses. Also, I thought the bowl besides missing ingredients was pretty low as well, not even filled to the top!

I always enjoy my meal when I come to this CAVA location! The staff was very kind! They had run out of saffron rice, and they continued to let me go down the line and gave me a side of it for free! I also feel like the portions are very large. I typically can get the kid's pita meal and still have leftovers! I would highly recommend coming to CAVA if you need something quick and easy!

Cava is a whole love language for me. My go to is the greens and grains bowl and I'll always get extra garlic sauce. Their toppings make me feel like I'm being healthy and I love the variety. The feisty feta is to die for and their tzatziki is some of the best. The honey harissa chicken is the perfect level of spice and the free pita? Sign me right up. I love the homemade drinks and the convenience of ordering online to go.

After two visits (1 pita, 1grain bowl), I figured out what I wanted to put together here - a grain bowl with: 1/2 Rice 1/2 Lentils 1/2 Falafel 1/2 Meatballs Pickled Onions Cucumber & Tomato Brined Pickles Feta Tzatziki Harissa Pita Side sauces: Shkug, Yogurt Dill This made up what I'd been looking for - the right combination of tastes and textures, with the sauces and dips suppling a nice mixture of heat, cool, and flavors. The rice and lentils as the base mixed well together, increasing in flavor as the sauces and dips were mixed in. The spicy meatballs were very good, while the falafel was rather bland on its own, but again the sauces and dips helped considerably. The brined pickles and pickled red onions brought a definite sharpness to the bowl, softened somewhat by the tomato and cucumber mixture. The sauces and dips were all excellent. The pita as a side was small and much better than the large one on the wrap, and it had a nice outside crunch. And the service was particularly nice on this visit. I don't know that I necessarily felt healthier after this bowl, but I certainly felt satisfied! Ambiance - 3.5 Food - 4.5 Service - 4 Value - 4

I recently ordered a grain bowl from Cava on DoorDash with arugula, chicken, black lentils, and a variety of toppings/dressings. It arrived and looked bare at first, it seemed like the toppings might have been layered on the bottom, which made it a bit tricky to enjoy as intended. Honestly, Cava is just okay for me. This was my second time trying it, and while it's not bad, I don't feel like it lives up to the hype. To be fair, maybe my topping and dressing choices might not have been the best combination this time around. For now, I'd say it's fine if you're looking for something light and customizable, but it's not my favorite.

Between the ambience, speed of service, and the friendly greetings, I truly enjoyed myself! Destiny was an absolute superstar, she was extremely sweet and welcoming! She ensured we had everything we needed. The food was delicious!

Loved coming here for a quick dinner after going to the gym! The food at CAVA is always so filling and nutritious and this particular one is in a convenient location on Stratford Road. Depending on the time of day the parking can be a little crowded in that shopping plaza, but cars come in and out so frequently I haven't had a problem! The indoor space itself is larger than it looks, and there is plenty of seating if you want to dine in. I usually take it to go though! The service here is always fantastic, they are quick and efficient in getting people through the line, and always have all the toppings filled and ready to go so I haven't had to wait for anything. Will definitely be coming back!

I love CAVA! WHen it first opened in my area in Raleigh, I was there almost every day. I am a frequent visitor to Cava, and I love it so much. I used to live in Winston Salem for 3 years while I attended Community College there and there was no Cava, but I love that there is one now! I always build my own bowl, and it's always great. I did a to-go order for pickup. It was very crowded when I went in, and they were out of lids for cups, and straws, so I just took my drink without those things - no big deal, and drank it on the way home. The cucumber mint lemonade was delicious! I did order a free pita, and an extra pita with tzatziki sauce on the side. They gave me the sauce, but no pita. :( It was so crowded, it was not worth asking for a refund. Otherwise, everything tasted great. Will definitely be back whenever I am back in town.

They had more on the menu than I expected, from smash burgers, to buttermilk fried chicken to, obviously, poke bowls. I built my own bowl, and was very happy with the result. Everything tasted fresh and very flavorful. My only small gripe was that I could tell the pineapple was not fresh and obviously canned. The jalapenos were fresh sliced and added a bit of heat, which is perfect. I feel like this is one of those places I could come back multiple times and get different combinations of things in the menu.

It began as a poke bowl place but has since added everything from rice and noodle bowls to burgers and hot dogs to sandwiches and wings. It hasn't gone full Cowfish (yet), but trying to offer so much is a risky proposition. And yet, if my visit was anything to go by, the eclecticism didn't come at the cost of execution. I popped in shortly before noon on a Saturday to find the restaurant mostly empty (though patrons were pouring in when I was ready to leave). It's definitely a casual space - counter service with disposable bowls - albeit more colorful - and a decent bit costlier -- than a fast food joint. I was nearly set on building my own poke bowl when I spotted a cold noodle section of the menu. Peanut salad noodles with shrimp sounded too good to pass up. My food came quickly, and it hit the spot. The peanut sauce had a spicy kick, the cabbage and peanuts offered a satisfying crunch, and the shrimp were cooked well. I had lowered my expectations based on the atmosphere, but I shouldn't have: this dish would have held up at a more upscale place. With so expansive a menu, I don't know if That Place in the West End can keep up the quality across the board, but I would gladly return to this place for more noodles. Or a poke bowl. Or a burger. Or fried chicken. Or...

It was busy and bustling, a bit noisy, packed spaced. We were waited on my Evie who was an absolute gem, available and professional. I ordered a special taco plate with fish that was beer battered. Blackberry sage had a muddled, interesting flavor to it. Think wine-y but not quite that either. The mixed berry needed more berry flavor but was okay. Lavender was best out of all, but it was teetering on sickly, almost had too much lavender syrup. For entrees, I ordered the puffy Pete chicken tacos. They came out with crema on it when I ordered it on the side, but it was quickly rectified. The portion was good. I was full by the end. The flavor was okay. Chicken cooked fine. But it didn't have much of a sweet heat kick to it without the jalapeños added. Overall, I wouldn't necessarily get it again when we go back. My fiancé ordered the Houston beef puffy taco. He thought the taco was very filling. It had meat falling out of it, which was good. It tasted like a typical ground beef taco. He hoped the chorizo would elevate it, but it didn't. It was similar to a Taco Bell beef taco. Overall, decent tacos, and it helped that it was big for the price. We want to visit again, but we'll try other menu items and stick with water. The music was fine. Country and nothing stuck out. Service was fine. She kept only giving a small amount of napkins for a messy dish, which was a bit annoying, but she was very helpful answering our questions for our first time. So she was overall helpful and pleasant.

Housed in a former Coca-Cola bottling plant, Grandpa Joe's pays homage to the site's history through its red and black décor. The menu offers salads, floats, and soft serve though pizza is the star attraction. It is served by the rectangular slab (about $8 per). Order at the counter, grab a number for your table, and wait for the oven to work its magic. For our first visit, my wife and I split a trio of slabs -- an Italian sausage, a mushroom, and a tomato and burrata -- with a side of marinara. All three were excellent. The focaccia crusts were crispy while still retaining airiness. From melty mozzarella to savory, fennel-forward sausage, Grandpa Joe's uses high-quality ingredients. The marinara was good: bright, fresh, and just a bit sweet. The mushroom slab came topped with arugula and shaved parmesan. Despite seeming like a gimmick (pizza? Salad? Why not both?), it proved an effective combination: the arugula's bitterness played well with the mushrooms' earthy flavors. There will be a certain type of pizza connoisseur for whom anything that isn't New York style is, by definition, fraudulent.
